It's been a few years since we last went on a caravan holiday and our expectations were based on that baseline. Wow how things have changed in the last ten years. This site and facilities are as good as any I have ever experianced. 10 out of 10 for every element of the service and the weather was good too !

just been to stay at this park for a week, we had our 8 year old son with us and he loved it..The park is beautiful and well maintained in all area's.There are all sorts of activites for the kids and the entertainment at night is brilliant,the beach is a short stroll down the road or 5 mins in the car and parking there is free.. Our caravan was very impressive everything you need is just at hand and if you have a problem the staff are very helpful.The pool area sauna,jacuzzi and steam room are a must!! needless to say we have booked to go back to this site and i may just treat myself to one of there lodge's with a hot tub....

Van was clean and spacious. Bedrooms slightly narrow but that’s what you get in a static van. Living area was a good size. Only gripe was no lighting for the evenings, had to either have the main lights on or the extractor fan light.

Caravan wasn't as advertised online, the all round cleanliness of the caravan was very poor.

I gave the resort and staff a high rating as possible however if there was an option for rating the accommodation caravan 62 on park two otherwise advertised on the Darwin's escape website as clover I would have rated as one due to the obvious signs of wear and tear, ripped off fablon on the dining table, dark stains on the couch and bench furniture underneath the table, chipped kitchen units, rust on the mirrors, wooden edging in bathroom mirror was hanging off and I had to report all damage, faults, wear and tear to the reception staff so as to ensure the mirror was fixed, and the stain off the couch was cleaned. I didn't want to held liable for the filth and damage.I also need to point out some one has replaced the lino on the kitchen floor but it badly fitted and cut, it didn't look good.The radiators were rusty and had a food trapped in it next to be kitchen work top. I had to ask for assistance to be given instructions as to how to turn on the radiators as this wasn't provided within the site information from the reception staff or within the caravan itself such as on the inside of the gas heater storage cupboard.The carpet was noticeably dirty as was the lino floor which has sticky stains on it when we arrived so it was clear the floor hasn't been mopped.The double bed frame was rocket and the middle support leg was not stable, it had seen better days and wasnt a good bed frame to sleep on as it made a noise every time I turned over in my sleep.This caravan needs a entire refurb and deep clean of furnishings, carpet and replacement of tired looking fixtures such as the mirrors. Staff at reception were sympathetic and reported the filth in the couch and damaged mirror however they could not move me into alternative accommodation as the park was fully booked. All caravans should be pristine and well maintained, while I understand promotional photos of caravans are to show the layout and style of accommodation to guests, my one looked nothing like what I selected in terms of cleanliness, presentation as in not worn, tired looking and damage.I paid for below par accomodation and could not be offered or moved to better suitable accommodation.

Holiday overall couldn't fault . But caravan disappointing. Was supposed be luxury ...far from it and stunk of grease ! Entertainment fab location beach shops play area Baths all fab .My only gripe was paid 200 extra for luxury caravan and got basic ! So may go with private owners next time

This was our our first visit to Talacre and we hope to come again. We were disappointed in the WIFI system which needs further investment to meet current standards.

Accommodation is Dated as explained previously the kitchen was short of items ,no chopping board ,no jug ,no scissors .

Everything was brand new!The enclosed garden was great for the little one.The hot tub was regularly maintained.Just needs better blinds.

Fab caravan very dog friendly Had everything we needed except for a fan

Could maybe have a tv in bedroom and Cushions in living area. Twin bed mattresses were soft for me but that’s just personal preference. Also could do with hooks in bathroom

A brilliant holiday everything was great definitely return.

Good spacious caravan, well equipped kitchen and comfy sofas. TV worked well and the pretend gas fire was a lovely touch. We had no problems, everything worked OK.

Perfect stay again, stayed here twice now & can't wait to book again! Love the location, private garden, hot tub, everything we needed, lovely approachable staff & nothing is too much trouble. Thankyou ????

Awful awful never going back

Door catch was broken and not repaired after reporting twice. Could not park next to caravan

Excellent accommodation, one of the better lodges with hot tub we have stayed in. Lovely and private, would book again.

We had a great stay! The place is really spacious and family-friendly. The hot tub was brilliant and the amenities like washer, dryer and dishwasher made everything easier. Lovely!

Really basic caravan but described as luxury it certainly was not

Kitchen had almost everything we needed, just missing a chopping board.

Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was super tidy and modern.

The hottub was fantastic, but a few things needed fixing.

We loved how roomy the caravan was, with a great layout. The large fridge freezer and microwave were handy and the flat-screen TV was a bonus. Very impressed!

My family love it here, beautiful park, beautiful location, beautiful beach. Very close by to surrounding places. The food and drink is quite over priced but all in all we had a fantastic time and will continue to stay here.
