We really enjoyed our visit; the fields were perfect for a relaxing walk with the dogs.

We had a lovely stay here! The caravan was clean and tidy and the location is fantastic - just a two-minute walk to the beach. It’s a really safe spot for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. Once restrictions ease, we’re looking forward to exploring more nearby activities. We’d definitely recommend it to friends and we’ll be returning soon. For a quieter vibe, Lido Beach might be better, but Robin Hood was still great!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy during that rainy December weather. The bath was absolutely lovely and the shower was great too. Being near the flight path didn’t bother us at all, so don’t worry about it. Perfect spot for dogs-no fireworks here! The property is beautifully converted and in a peaceful, remote location. We had such a lovely stay! The owners were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything. The cottage itself is adorable, with charming timber framing and a nice, powerful shower. The bed was super comfy and the cosy kitchen and living space made us feel right at home. Parking right outside was a big bonus and the area is perfect for walks to Thaxted and exploring the windmill and pretty houses nearby. We’d definitely come back!

We spent a week here in July with our two mini dachshunds and honestly, it was a lovely stay. The cottage was charming and the hot tub was a real treat, especially during the heatwave when the cool water felt so refreshing. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. It was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields each day too. Being close to Stansted’s flight path was actually quite fun - we enjoyed watching the planes land. Definitely would recommend Hide for a relaxing break!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were super friendly but not at all intrusive, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen and was super cosy. We even used the BBQ one evening and the hot tub was absolutely brilliant! We’d definitely come back and have already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely break!

We needed a quick getaway to stretch the legs and take the dog out. The place was spot on - comfy, plenty of nearby pubs and walks and the dog refused to leave! Definitely coming back soon.

The dogs had an amazing time, especially with the underfloor heating which they adored. Luna was wagging her tail non-stop and ended up with a strained one, but she was totally happy. We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy spot tucked away in a lovely, secluded area. The hosts were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, yet it still felt private. The hot tub was just what we needed after some long days cycling around. Just a heads up - the cottage is right under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of plane noise. It didn’t bother us after a while, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it’s worth mentioning. Overall, a fantastic getaway!

The cottage itself is really nice, especially the hot tub - perfect after those scorching days, as the water was nicely cooled down for a refreshing dip. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken to the fields daily. Being close to Stansted’s flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had the Lido Silver, 3 Bedroom Sleeps 8 (402). The Caravan was very clean and only a little worn but nothing too bad. There was plenty of space for the four of us, we used the 3rd bedroom as a place to keep suitcases and bags.I could imagine that if there were 8 adults in the caravan it might feel a little cramped. The caravan is basic if visiting in the colder months I would have been worried about the temperature of the bedrooms as the only heater was the electric blow heater/fire in the living room. I would suggest taking your own pillows as only 1 per person is included which are quite thin.

We stayed in the Lido Silver, 3 Bedroom Sleeps 8 (402) and honestly, it was a pretty decent place. The caravan was spotless and while it showed a bit of wear, it wasn’t anything to worry about. There’s loads of space for our group of four; we even used the third bedroom for storing our suitcases, which was handy. If there were eight adults, I reckon it might feel a bit tight, though. It’s quite a basic setup, so if you're visiting in colder weather, be prepared for the bedrooms to get chilly since the only heating is a small electric heater in the living room. We’d definitely recommend bringing your own pillows, as only one per person is supplied and they’re quite thin. Still, we had a good stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! The place is super well-kept and had everything we needed. Loved the dog walks right outside and meeting Penelope the pig was a real highlight. The host was so friendly and quick to reply. Perfect escape for us and the pups. Definitely coming back-great value! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spotless and the beds were already made, which was a nice touch. The beach nearby was perfect for relaxing. It’s quieter than the bigger sites, exactly what we needed!

Excellent stay at lido beach, the location is perfect for the nova centre, beach and Prestatyn. The park itself has a play ground which is ace.

Had a lovely time and looking forward to booking next year.

Great if you like a quiet holiday hot tub was nice but no on site amenities nearest club is a ten minute drive Spent every night travelling to find food or bars all have to be driven too Overall nice but poor location
