We encountered a few problems in our lodge and the reception team could not have been more helpful

Lodge was lovely and well furnished. However there were only exactly 4 of everything and it would have been helpful to have a spare knife for butter etc. could also do with a pair of tongs for cooking. Bedding was clean and fresh however there were some stains (like ink?) on one set of sheets but not fresh. Towels were clean and small toiletries were provided

The flooring definitely needs replacing as couldn’t walk round with no shoes on for risk of catching toes but the rest of the lodge was great maybe provide more than exactly 4 sets of everything cutlery and glasses plates wise as you spend a lot of time washing things to reuse. I also think when you have a booking with two children the second bedroom should have the bed split into two separate beds rather than made up as a double wasn’t ideal with a girl and boy aged 15 and 11 to share a double bed

Very clean spacious lodge set in a quiet park. Well equipped kitchen. Beds we're comfy. The hot tub made the holiday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Central to lots of lovely beaches. Plenty to see and do for the family.

Perfect and highly recommended

We previously stayed in a 4 bedroom Gwynedd, the Premier is the same but had a hot tub which was a very welcome addition. The lodge is spacious, well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the showers good and the lodge was clean and comfortable. The wi-fi signal was good and free. There is a big fridge/freezer so you can bring plenty of provisions with you if you choose to eat in, and there is ample cooking equipment. It is also in a very peaceful location and within easy travel distance to beaches and lovely scenery and activities.

Perfect 4 night stay. Spacious lodge with wonderful views. Cleaned to a high standard on arrival.Would return and recommend.

Second time in the Llewellyin, nice touch of a doggy pack for the dog, great views and location from lodge 19, booked again for September.

Perfect holiday lodge. Equipped with all essentials to make for a great family break The lodge was spotless with towels for all occupants. Absolutely faultless. The surrounding area was stunning.

The lodge was very clean and well presented. Comfortable beds and excellent modern bathrooms.The kitchen was very well equipped to a high standard, including a dish washer. Very impressive.

The Lodge was clean on arrival, staff were helpful especially when sorting out an issue with the EV charging point.My only criticism would be there is only plates, cups for one sitting and ideally there needs to be enough plates, cups for two sittings.Well worth visiting the area, the holiday lodge is in an area of natural beauty with good links to the towns in the areas.

The lodge was lovely and modern and deck looked out onto the wild flowers. Could have been cleaned better as after a day we found the bottom of our white socks really dirty looking after walking about the floors. We also used the washing machine a few times, it would have been handy to have a clothes horse as not everything was appropriate for the dryer.

Brilliant lodge could not ask for any better welcome pack for us and the dog. Great place to stay with washing machine, dishwasher, waterfall shower and bath. Towels provided too

We had a fantastic stay in Rhodri at Plas Isaf Lodge Retreat. The property itself was really nice – clean, well-presented, and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. One of the standout features was the privacy – it felt peaceful and secluded, just what we were looking for.Another big bonus was how close everything was. Compared to other places we’ve stayed, the local amenities and attractions were much more accessible, which made things so much more convenient. Whether we wanted to explore or just nip out for something, nothing felt like a hassle.We genuinely can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway in a great location.

Loved it wish we’d stayed for a week not 4 nights now. Only thing that knocked it down was the TV as it was standard free view and no app options like Netflix as we all know free view doesn’t have the options now where on a night as no club facilities only other option was to put a film on to relax once kids went to bed but we couldn’t do that with the TVs. But apart from that VERY SMALL minor everything else was amazing the staff were fantastic. The lodge was so spacious for 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. Loved it so much looking at a different location from same company for next year already.

t was a lovely holiday, very relaxing. The lodge was good. The lodge was very clean.Liked both the bedrooms. Loads of room and loved having ensuites.Would have been better to have 2 sofas instead of a sofa and 2 chairsAlso it was annoying literally only having 4 plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons etc. Meant had to keep washing up all the time. Also side plates were ridiculously small and only fit 1 piece of bread. Needed to be bigger.Would have been good to be told there wouldn't be a teatowel, sponge or dishcloth. We had to go out and buy them.Overall enjoyed the site. It was close to everything we wanted to go see. Was good to have fields to walk the dogs as well.

Beautiful luxurious lodge

Had a lovely, relaxing 4 nights away here, would definitely recommend! We were a family of 2 adults, a 2 year old and a 3 month old, staying in Lodge 31 (Glyndwr Premier).Pros- Calm, quiet site- Beautifully decorated, very modern and cosy- 2 en-suites, one with a bath, excellent water pressure in the showers - Kitchen had everything you needed - Easy access from the motorway but also close to many lovely walks and attractions- Hot tub was fab. Very large and sunk into the decking which gave it some privacy - Washer/dryer was unexpected but was a nice surprise and handy to have- Also has dishwasher, clothes airer, iron, hair dryer, toiletries Cons- Would have been handy to have a couple extra dishwasher tablets (one provided) but not the end of the world

Best holiday ever

We had a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. We went as two couples, booked a two bed lodge. Very well thought floor-plan with privacy of each bedroom taken care off.. Both bedroom had en-suite. Lovely interior decor with comfortable sitting arrangements overlooking beautiful view outside.

Had everything we needed for a few days break, lovely and clean, great location right next to the stream.

We loved this cottage! It’s really spacious for four, super peaceful and perfect for unwinding. We had such a relaxing, stress-free break.

We had such a lovely stay at Plas Isaf! After our usual retreat shut down, we’d been on the hunt for somewhere special and honestly, this place ticked all the boxes. The lodges are stunning, really top quality and kept spotless. It’s so peaceful here, perfect for unwinding, but still close enough to explore North Wales. Lisa and the team made us feel really welcome too. Already planning our next trip!

We’ve just got back from a week-long stay at a lovely lodge in Caerwys and honestly, it was a pretty great experience. The lodge itself was super modern and in fantastic condition - definitely feels brand new, with a really spacious open-plan living and kitchen area. Each bedroom has its own en suite, which was handy, especially for a group like ours. What really made our trip special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. Lisa on reception was so friendly and helpful, answering all our pre-arrival questions and taking note of our requests. It was such a relief to meet someone so welcoming after a long journey. Then there’s Greg - what a legend! He seems to do every job around the place, from maintenance to grass cutting. Honestly, nothing was too much trouble for him. You could tell he genuinely cares about the site and the guests. Every staff member we encountered was chatty, approachable and made us feel right at home. The lodges are quite new, so everything looked fresh and well-maintained. We honestly can’t understand why this site is only ranked second in Caerwys because it’s miles ahead of the other one we visited - Plas Isaf Lodge Retreat. That place felt a bit tired compared to this one. Now, on to a minor issue, just to be fair. Every morning, we woke up to the smell of sewage, which was a bit unpleasant. We found out it’s because of the eco-friendly system they use - the shower traps hold very little water, so when the toilet is flushed, the smell gets sucked away. The fix is simple - just running water into the shower tray helps, but it’s a bit of a pain to remember every time. We’d recommend taking some air freshener along, just in case. We’re not sure if this problem is limited to our lodge or if it’s across the site, but it’s worth noting. Overall, we had a lovely stay and despite that small hiccup, we’d definitely come back. The staff, the lodges and the relaxed vibe make it a place worth visiting!
