We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! It’s really well equipped, so we didn’t need to bring much at all. The welcome pack was thoughtful, with handy info and local menus, which made settling in easy. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs and they loved it. The hot tub was a real treat after long days out. Sharon and RobeRead were quick to respond if we had questions. Thanks for a lovely break, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely week at the cottage from 15 to 22 July with our two mini dachshunds. They really enjoyed the stay and made some new friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is cosy and well-kept, with the hot tub being a real highlight-especially during the hotest days, when the water was cooled down for extra refreshment. The hosts were super welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields daily. Being near Stansted’s flight path was fun too-watching the planes land was quite entertaining. Would definitely recommend!

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was super well-kept and had everything we needed. Plenty of walks right outside the door for the dogs, which was perfect. The host was really friendly and easy to chat with, making us feel welcome. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. We had such a lovely stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us warm despite the rainy December weather. The bath was so relaxing and the shower was a good size too.
