Travelled as a group of 7 adults. Stayed in an 8 berth caravan with a hot tub. Positives:-Location lovely. Caravan site peaceful. Didnt use the spa so cant comment on that. Nice bar and restaurant. Enjoyed a nice meal on the first night. Service good. Food hot and arrived in good time. Caravan nice and clean. Full size fridge/ freezer which was ideal for the 7 of us. One double bedroom which had an ensuite toilet which was good. Hot tub lovely and warm. Able to make use of one of the parks BBQs which was great. Negatives:- Felt that the caravan was limited in space for 7 adults. Would have been ideal for probably 4 adults and 4 kids . The four single beds were fairly narrow but ok for a few nights stay. The gap between the single beds was minimal. Two adults couldnt change in the rooms at any one time. In one of the single rooms is a cupboard on the wall by the door. During the night one of the adults badly hit there head on the edge of the cupboard when getting out of bed and standing up in the dark. Kitchen good but again the layout made it small. When your cooking breakfast for seven adults and using the cooker you couldnt get to the kettle to make a drink. An injury was sustained to one of the adults caused by the oven door. Above the cooker is a cooker hood with a front panel. Durin cooking the front panel just fell off. Could have been a serious injury but luckily it wasn't Water power very poor. Just trickled out alot of the time. Not ideal when you needed water to fill up the sink or have a shower. Pull out bed in lounge not comfortable due to thin mattress. The adults that slept there ended up just sleeping on the settee without opening it up. On the first day the sheet given to us for the lounge bed was filthy so needed changing. Not a good impression. Despite the negatives as a group we all had a great time away. We were out all day so didnt spend along time in the caravan. I did address the issues that we had to reception on checking out but i feel that they werent really listened to.

The seaside cabin was just what we needed-totally private and in a stunning spot. We wanted a proper escape and it delivered. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after long days. Honestly, this lodge was lovely. The view of the countryside, especially Snowden on a clear day, was breathtaking. The steps up aren’t too steep, so it’s manageable. We loved the peaceful setting and the place was well equipped for four people. It made our stay really enjoyable - definitely a spot we’d visit again!

We paid over £330 per night for a three-night stay, so we expected decent cleanliness, especially given the COVID situation. Sadly, the main toilet still had stains from previous guests and the kitchen appliances were dusty. Such a shame because the location was perfect, perched at the top with stunning views. Wouldn’t stay again, unfortunately.

The caravan was pretty clean on the surface, but the furniture really needs a refresh-it looked quite tired. The beds’ mattresses were flat and could do with replacing. Plenty of plates, cutlery, plus a small microwave and lockable fridge. Overall, not too bad!

The staff at Tan Rallt couldn’t do enough to help you, from the friendly receptionist and bar/restaurant staff, to the guys coming round everyday to check on the Hot tub. Spotlessly clean caravan and site, with everything we needed, set in the most wonderful area to stay in. The family loved their stay.

Tan Rally holiday park excellent location with beautiful views. Lovely new caravan very comfortable, do need car to get from A to B. Staff approachable very helpful.. I would stay again peaceful, clean site. I would of of given overall 10 if being informed on the courtesy call day before that restaurant wasn't open from Tuesday to Thursday. I would of like to see available if need safety shower mat with having two persons with me that was disabled.
