A delightful setting on the edge of a picturesque cove in one of Devon’s most idyllic locations, perfect for couples, this is the ultimate getaway for romantic breaks.

Good things come in small beach huts and retaining a ‘beach hut’ ambience inside and out, these retreats boast bright colourful exteriors complemented by chic vintage interiors, several with their own bubbling hot tub.

Famed for its laid-back atmosphere and surfing lifestyle, North Devon hosts an enchanting cocktail of golden beaches, traditional villages and a rich, rolling countryside steeped in myths and legends.

Chambercombe Manor is a lovely 20-minute walk and is famous from its smuggling heritage and paranormal activity.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Cove. The location overlooking that cozy cove was stunning and super easy to find with satnav. Our hut with a hot tub was perfect for unwinding after sightseeing. We loved our stay at this cosy little lodge! Sitting in the hot tub with the waves crashing nearby was just perfect. The place had everything we needed, even if parking was a bit snug. Unfortunately, some spots were closed since it was out of season, but that didn’t ruin our trip at all. We’d definitely come back!

We’ve stayed at Cairnwood a few times now and honestly, it just keeps impressing us. The place is spacious enough and really well looked after, so it still looks fresh after nearly a decade. The views are absolutely stunning and it’s so close to that adorable little beach - perfect for a day out. The amenities have been thoughtfully updated, like adding a microwave and swapping out stuff to keep everything up to scratch. The staff are lovely and always helpful. Honestly, it’s pretty much perfect in our eyes! We’ll definitely come back.

We really enjoy our yearly visits here! The staff are always friendly when we arrive, which makes us feel welcome. However, it’s frustrating that when we had an issue, the office was closed and there was no way to leave a message on the phone. Also, the bathroom mirror looked quite worn out, which made the place seem a bit shabby. Still, we’ve already booked for 2025 and can’t wait to come back!

Very small accommodation, looks bigger on the pictures also if u have dogs be aware terrace is not secure so we had to block it off with what we could which was a pain ,, apart from that lovely and quiet nice dog friendly beach on your door step , views are amazing , nice little village x

Lovely setting with sea views directly above the beach. Comfortable large bed in superior sea view room. Good shower and kitchen facilities. Hot tub was great and checked daily. We had a brilliant time! It was in a perfect location with the pub basically next door. It was a very short stroll down to the closest beach and we could see the sea from the hot tub. It was approximately 1.5 miles into the centre of Ilfracombe, so that was very convenient for a more vibrant day out too. Adorable thatched roof pub on the way to Ilfracombe there too! ? some fab restaurants/takeaways nearby. Shoutout to Hele’s Kitchen who gave us a free cake!
