Ladram Bay Holiday Park

It was such a fantasic holiday we are booked for 2weeks in 2011. Looking forward to meeting the very friendly helpful staff and staying in the lovely caravans.

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy little spot tucked away in a quiet, private area. The owners were super friendly and always ready to help if needed, but we still felt like we had our own space. The hot tub was a real treat after long days out cycling. Just a heads up, the cottage's location under Stansted’s flight path means there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our holiday at all. We’d definitely come back!

The hosts were really lovely and the cottage itself was just gorgeous. The hot tub and log burner made it extra special. Definitely coming back!

Lovely caravan with great sea views. Although the caravan was pet friendly we didn’t have a pet but it was so clean you wouldn’t have known there were pets there before. The caravan was bright and airy with everything we needed.

Honestly, we had a fantastic time! The place was super well thought out and the hosts were genuinely lovely and helpful. It’s the kind of spot that makes you wanna come back for more. We definitely will!

Comfortable caravan, the only issue was with the television, which didn’t have a signal most of the time. apparently there’s a problem with the mast off site

The place is really tranquil and perfect for unwinding. Our dog loved the secure garden too!

We spent a week at the Driftwood and honestly, it’s a lovely spot. Everything you could need was provided, plus a hot tub which was a real treat. There’s plenty for kids to do, making it perfect for families. The food was great too and having a fish and chip shop nearby meant no cooking needed. We’d definitely stay again at Ladram Bay!

We had a really lovely time! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for Archie - he loved the secure space. The location was spot on, with loads of walks around and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed, which was just what we needed. Definitely a break to remember!

We had a fantastic stay! The house is super well equipped and kept us cosy during that rainy December weather. The bath was perfect for relaxing after long walks and the shower was great too. Even though it's near a flight path, it didn’t bother us at all. Ideal spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, really peaceful out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks so much!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was such a lovely stay. The cottage is really charming and the hot tub was a definite highlight, especially with the hot weather - it was so refreshing! The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We enjoyed watching the planes land since it’s near Stansted and it was quite fun. Our dogs loved making new friends in the village of Thaxted too. We’d definitely recommend Hide for a relaxing break!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! The setting was perfect-serene and tranquil, with stunning views of the surrounding farml and. The horses were a lovely surprise. The owners were genuinely friendly and very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a spot to revisit for a peaceful getaway!

Lovely sea view apartment - very comfortable and great location, near to the facilities.

The apartment had a stunning sea view and was super comfy, we loved it here!

The apartment was in the perfect location near to the shop, beach and entertainment complex. It was well furnished with comfortable beds. My only criticism was that the bathroom plumbing might need an overhaul but as the plumbers were working on another apartment the day we left they might already have this in hand!

We absolutely loved the location of the apartment-so close to the shops, beach and nightlife, it was super convenient. The furnishings were cosy and the beds were really comfy. Only downside was the bathroom plumbing, which could do with some fixing. Hopefully, they’ve sorted it out by now! Definitely would stay again.

Had a lovely holiday

Beautifully clean and tidy site even though it is a large site and is very close to the beach though that is very pebbley and quite painful to walk on, so if you`re after a nice sandy beach then Exmouth is only a short drive away. Saying that, it was nice to have some picnic benches on the beach to enjoy a picnic. Caravan was also spotless with everyday essentials for cooking supplied. Also a welcome pack of a tea towel, washing up sponge and washing up liquid. Beds and sofa were both comfortable and great to have a coffee table in the lounge area too. It was easy to book the use of the swimming pool though you aren`t able to do this until 24 hours before , but at the time we went we didn`t find this to be a problem and managed to swim everyday. You are allocated a full one hour which was perfect. The only criticism I have is that it would be nice to have some basic instructions on how to work the cooker. Ours was electric which I was quite happy with but having turned it on, found there to be no heat coming from it, this in turn tripped the elcetric and although maintenance were quick to come out they couldn`t resolve there and then. It turned out to be you have to turn the timer on, as well as the oven, which seemed odd, in order for the oven to work. Then adjust timer accordingly . We were given some gift vouchers to eat at one of the site food places to compensate but would have preferred money back for where we had eaten the night the cooker failed to work. We didn`t eat in the restaurant so can`t comment on it though fish and chip shop was nice.

We loved it here. Plenty to do, entertainment was brilliant. We booked again for next year.

Beautiful place and lovely accommodation with hot tub.the hill to the beach was a workout very steep but it didnt spoil our holiday had a lovely time didnt want to go home.

Overall a good holiday. Location is excellent. Staff were OK. Didn't like the food at the restaurants.

We had one of our best holidays here, the site is perfect for us, we loved the private beach and water sports hire. The pool and splash zone were great. We brought our dog and there were plenty of places to take him for a walk. We drove over to Sidmouth and Exmouth both towns were lovely.

Seating for adults in the children's play area is needed when supervising children playing.
