Benson Waterfront is part of our exclusive Bouja Luxury Boutique Breaks Collection, boasting a magnificent location on the banks of the River Thames.

Located on the outskirts of Benson historic village and walking distance to its two gastropubs and shops, and set amongst glorious open countryside just 10 miles from historic Oxford.

A haven of peace and tranquillity offering couples, families and friends a truly unique blend of riverside living, cosmopolitan culture and a chance to savour some of the country’s finest scenery.

Beautifully styled, with the emphasis on luxury, all 5 South facing contemporary holiday homes enjoy an open-plan design with patio doors, leading to your own veranda with outdoor uncovered hot tub and limited river views.

The river and parking a maximum of 40 metres away.

70 metres West along the river you will find plenty of private spots on the river bank amongst the trees.

A superb waterfront café/Bistro affords idyllic sunset-watching, while fishing* and small boat hire* create ultimate ways to relax and enjoy this picturesque stretch of the river.

If you choose to have a boat: cruising eastwards, through a landscape dotted with mellow-stone villages, stately homes and quaint towns, leads to Henley and Windsor, while to the west lie Oxford’s famous ‘dreaming Spires’ and wealth of amenities.

Thames Path walks, cycle trails and riverside pubs abound.

Great lodge and has everything you need. The only downside I would sadly, is the mattress was a little too firm for my liking.
Lauren
Date of stay: 31st March 2024
The lodges were extremely well equipped with a beautiful view looking over the Thames from the hot tub that was checked daily

The sofas were small, could have done with a corner sofa instead of 2, two seater sofas. We had an issue trying to get the Tv to connect to the wifi, so couldn’t use its ‘smart’ features. The kitchen was lovely, and had all the necessities we needed for our stay.

An amazing time! So Relaxing and the hot tub was fantastic. The lodge was perfect for 2 and being able to park outside the front door was a bonus.

Date of stay: 20th January 2020
The cabin was really spacious and well equipped, the walk-in wardrobe was an added bonus.
The hot tub was full size, probably could fit about 6 people, but there were just 2 of us - so was plenty of room.
We had a great view of the river from the veranda, and hot tub.
There were camping pitches right outside, which did mean that the veranda and hot tub area wasn't quite as private as I would have liked. We were there in January, so very few people were camping, but had it been summer I imagine it would be very busy and might spoil the experience a bit - which is the reason I have only scored 9 for location.
Otherwise, everything was great!

Date of stay: 7th October 2019
Fabulous lodge inside and out. lovely location. My only criticism was that our hot tub (lodge 1) had a roll back top which was very difficult to open and close from the decked area. I would suggest a fold back option as in the other lodges. Everything else was perfect.

We totally loved our 4 day break the only thing that let it down was the caravans parked up outside the lodge spoilt the beautiful view

Date of stay: 30th August 2019
Beautiful setting , well maintained and spacious cabin with a great hot tub.
Great place to relax and unwind.

There is a busy main road nearby and you can hear the traffic from the cabin, however the riverside setting more than compensates for this.

Lovely walks from the cabin along the banks of the River Thames and also nearby in the Chilterns

Julia
Fab place to stay we will definitely be back. Great attention to detail within the lodge all the little things thought of
Stacey
Had an Amazing weekend break at this delightful caravan/lodge. Ever so clean and all the home comforts you could need in the property (and more…even bathrobes to use when you get out the tub!). Staff were really friendly and helpful, and it’s such a beautiful peaceful location, owith stunning walks in all directions, cafe/restaurant on site and local towns nearby with more to offer. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely time.
Marie
We enjoyed our stay. The loge & hot tub was amazing & very clean. Staff are very friendly & helpful, always on hand. Just would like to say the hot tub well matained. But Just disappointed it had a small leak, and the view of the river was not good, because of the trees & the caravans that was phich up in front of our loge.
David
A lovely lodge with hot tub in a beautiful riverside setting. Close to local attractions, but secluded in its own way. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice bistro within easy walking distance.
Andy
Great lodges in beautiful location. Very clean and well maintained. Couldn't fault them.
Deborah
We stopped here for a week and we absolutely loved our stay. We didn’t experience any problems whilst there so unable to comment on this. The lodge was very clean and had everything you could need to self cater. We used the Waterfront cafe which is adjacent to the lodge site and found it be be reasonable and what we ate was good. We also used the pub in the village finding the service / food excellent. There is a bus stop in front of the Waterfront cafe car park so you can access Oxford, Reading and lots of other places without having to use the car. We can not see hunk of a bad thing to say about these lodges, hopefully to return soon
Susan
Beautiful, clean lodge with everything provided made for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was immaculately clean and checked daily. Only ate once at the restaurant but food was lovely, service quick and staff polite. Would recommend a stay here.
Nigel
Excellent accommodation. Only downside is proximity to main road.
Debbie
Really impressed with the lodge, couldn’t of asked for anything better. The host was very friendly and helpful. A very beautiful place, we will definitely go back.
