Cresswell Towers

Clean and fairly comfortable. We found the bed a little soft. There was a little litter nearby, but most of this was cleared while we were there. Otherwise very happy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside the door were perfect. The hosts were genuinely lovely and made us feel so welcome. Brilliant trip!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The owners were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The place itself is really charming, with the classic half-timbered look and a warm, inviting feel. The shower was great and the cosy kitchen and living area made it feel like a home away from home. Parking right outside was super convenient. Perfect base for walks around Thaxted and exploring the area easily. Wed definitely come back!

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. Its tucked away on a working farm but feels super private, which was perfect for us. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely, making us feel welcome from the start. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely dog-proof and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly but not pushy, which we appreciated. The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ for one evening. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Were already telling friends about it and cant wait to come back. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners were so welcoming and helpful - couldn't ask for better hosts. The place itself is super charming, with that classic half-timbered look and a really cosy vibe. The shower was great and the bed was really comfy. Parking right outside was a real bonus and the place was spotlessly clean. Perfect spot for walks around the fields and easy trips to Thaxted with its pretty houses and windmill. We loved it!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely charming and welcoming. The place itself is really spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy, which made for great nights sleep. The garden is perfect-completely secluded, dog-proof and furnished nicely. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out in Thaxted, especially at The Star and The Maypole. The Swan and Indian are also worth a mention. Wed definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was lovely, with great quality accommodation. Loved how close everything was-pubs, restaurants and endless fields for walks. Our dog was so relaxed, it didnt want to leave!

We spent a week here from July 15th to 22nd with our two mini dachshunds and they really loved it! They made some new friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is lovely, especially the hot tub-perfect for those hot days when the water was cooled down for a more refreshing dip. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields each day. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually quite fun, watching planes land was a nice touch. Wed definitely recommend it!

The location was just right, with loads of lovely walks and nearby villages like Thaxted that are worth exploring. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed after such a great break. Highly recommend!

Great small site. Caravans clean, modern and comfortable. Location is perfect, 5 mins walk to a beautiful beach and the kids loved the park on site. I would definitely recommend.

Had a really enjoyable holiday would highly recommend to friends and family

Only problem was the bathroom door handle got stuck so we had to have it repaired .But everything else was fine.

Accommodation was very clean, sofa was rock hard and very uncomfortable. Beds were comfy although very narrow. No table or chairs outside to sit and enjoy the weather. Restaurant combined with show bar so no chance of a chat over dinner due to the noise. Food was good.

Cannot fault the location or the value for money of this site. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely stunning caravan, staff were so helpful and friendly, really quiet and not a lot to do but if you have a car you can drive out and there are lots of facilities around.

An excellent holiday. Good facilities, a friendly welcome, clean caravan and neat and tidy site. Thank you!

It was a really enjoyable weekend and we will probably be back again next year

Brilliant location within easy walking distance of facilities on site and also a 15 min walk to the beach. The wider area also has many attractions; we enjoyed Northumberland Country Zoo and the Whitehouse Farm Centre, which are both fabulous for children.

Had a really nice time helped by wonderful weather to take advantage of beautiful beach within an easy stroll of the park and local ice cream shop serving a variety of delicious flavors. The park itself had enough facilities needed for a stay to occupy children. The caravan was clean and well equipped. The staff were helpful and polite. Fantastic coastline with many places of interest to visit.
