The lodge was quite disappointing-bedroom doors wouldn't close properly and there was no info provided about the lodge itself. The kitchen utensils were a mish-mash and it wasn’t very clean-dust, crumbs and even jigsaw pieces under the beds. The TV and WiFi signals were pretty poor too. It did the job for our trip, but overall, it’s a bit dull and uninspiring.

The place is pretty decent overall, though it's not as peaceful as it sounds since it's right near the airport, which can be a bit noisy. Still, a solid spot for exploring Chester, Cheshire Oaks and Liverpool. Good value for money and we’d come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was perfect for six people and the decking was such a peaceful spot. The park’s kept tidy and feels really relaxing overall.

Honestly, the photos on Hoseasons really don’t do this caravan justice. It’s lovely inside, with a spacious kitchen and a nice big table to gather around. The en-suite from one of the bedrooms is a bonus and each room has wardrobes. Plus, they’ve thought of everything with bedding, towels, a fridge-freezer and even a washer-dryer. We’d definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at a peaceful site with great static vans. The area was super quiet, which we loved. The only thing is, fitting 8 people comfortably in the seating or dining area during winter might be a bit tight. Sadly, the park and ride isn’t running anymore, but the bus stop nearby worked fine. We even walked into Chester on a sunny day. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

We loved how central the location was-it made exploring so easy. The lodge was spotless and really nicely decorated, with all the essentials, even ice cubes and coal for the BBQ! Usually, we bring our own utensils, but honestly, the kitchen had everything. Plus, Asda and Aldi are just a short drive away and Chester city centre was only a ten-pound taxi ride. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely weekend here. The place is so peaceful, just the sounds of birds all around. Arriving by train, a little milk in the room would’ve been nice, but overall, everything was spot on. Definitely planning to return!

We loved the place, really beautiful! The only thing we’d suggest is swapping the 2-seater sofa bed for a 3-seater or adding another armchair - it’s a bit tight for 6 adults. Also, some aircon would’ve been great since it was scorching hot. Apart from that, it was just perfect!

We found the place to be a real bargain and exactly what we needed. If you’re not fussed about nightlife or dining out, it’s a lovely spot to stay!

Fir trees was a beautiful place to stay. It was peaceful, people on the site were friendly, location was great and we really enjoyed our stay, we did not want to come home. We stayed in a 3 bedroom caravan, which was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. It was clean and easy to access. We had plenty of shops just 2minutes drive down the road (Asda, Tesco and take aways) and it was just a 5/10minute drive in to Chester itself. I can't fault our stay at all, it was just what we needed. Thank you
Gillian
Really enjoyed our stay here but it would have been good if there had been more information in reception like maps of Chester including parking. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the park and how well the grounds were maintained.
Wendy
Lovely place, quiet and peaceful. Very pleased with accommodation.
Graham
Beautiful and quiet surroundings. Nice modern caravan. Close to Chester and waking distance to supermarkets.
Helen
Very nice holiday park with trees surrounding it. Entrance to park was controlled by your key card.
Liam
Amazing place to stay, so close to Chester. We visited Chester zoo which was only 10 mins away. Shops are 2 mins away it’s a great place for location. Clean modern caravan, lovely site with friendly people.
Sarah
Just back from a fabulous stay at Fir Trees. Lovely peaceful site and well equipped, spotlessly clean caravan with tree sheltered veranda which was welcomed in the recent heatwave! Located just over 2 miles walk from Chester City centre we used as a base to drive to Wales and to get train to Liverpool and Manchester for day trips. Taxi is around £8 to train station from the site.
Gurpreet
Fantastic stay, location was perfect for our weekend away. Really enjoyed the surroundings was peaceful, relaxing and well maintained.
Linda
Lovely quite site…very well keep…but only 5 mins away from a retail park with lots of shops to choose from should you need them, also if it’s walking you like you have the river Dee just down the lane took us 50mins to walk into Chester
Deborah
The site is well kept and quiet. The caravan was excellent and very clean. The location was easy to get to Liverpool or North Wales for day's out and local attractions. Chester has a brilliant zoo.
Elizabeth
Perfect for our purpose.visiting my granddaughter who is at university in Chester and lives on cheney road so only 5 minutes away. Lovely site well kept and quiet. Perfect ?
Vicky
