Absolutely beautiful site, we have been before around 8 years ago so didn’t hesitate to return and pleased to say it’s exactly the same high standards as before. Caravan was lovely, spotlessly clean and everything seemed very new. The site is quiet, no clubhouse etc but very close to Chester centre and the wales border- we visited both and highly recommended! Thankyou for a lovely week

The cottage was a lovely spot for some peaceful downtime, though the planes at night from Stanstead are a bit noisy. The hot tub definitely made up for it though!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The location was perfect-peaceful and so relaxing. The countryside views, especially the horses, were just stunning. We had a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still feeling totally private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and make you feel really welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn't want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth checking out. We’d definitely recommend it!

We booked this place for a dog walking getaway and honestly, it was just what we needed. Lovely accommodation, plenty of nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for walks. The dog didn’t want to leave!

Fir trees was a beautiful place to stay. It was peaceful, people on the site were friendly, location was great and we really enjoyed our stay, we did not want to come home. We stayed in a 3 bedroom caravan, which was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. It was clean and easy to access. We had plenty of shops just 2minutes drive down the road (Asda, Tesco and take aways) and it was just a 5/10minute drive in to Chester itself. I can't fault our stay at all, it was just what we needed. Thank you

Really enjoyed our stay here but it would have been good if there had been more information in reception like maps of Chester including parking. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the park and how well the grounds were maintained.

Amazing place to stay, so close to Chester. We visited Chester zoo which was only 10 mins away. Shops are 2 mins away it’s a great place for location. Clean modern caravan, lovely site with friendly people.

Just back from a fabulous stay at Fir Trees. Lovely peaceful site and well equipped, spotlessly clean caravan with tree sheltered veranda which was welcomed in the recent heatwave! Located just over 2 miles walk from Chester City centre we used as a base to drive to Wales and to get train to Liverpool and Manchester for day trips. Taxi is around £8 to train station from the site.

Fantastic stay, location was perfect for our weekend away. Really enjoyed the surroundings was peaceful, relaxing and well maintained.

Lovely quite site…very well keep…but only 5 mins away from a retail park with lots of shops to choose from should you need them, also if it’s walking you like you have the river Dee just down the lane took us 50mins to walk into Chester

The site is well kept and quiet. The caravan was excellent and very clean. The location was easy to get to Liverpool or North Wales for day's out and local attractions. Chester has a brilliant zoo.

Perfect for our purpose.visiting my granddaughter who is at university in Chester and lives on cheney road so only 5 minutes away. Lovely site well kept and quiet. Perfect ?
