Lime Tree Park is a 4 star holiday park in the glorious Peak District and makes an ideal base for exploring all that this region has to offer.  Rated 4 stars by Visit Britain it is a good quality park and suited to those looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in stunning surroundings.

The caravans at Lime Tree Park have either 2 or 3 bedrooms and sleep 4-6.  Alternatively you could choose to stay in a Timber Clad Lodge at Lime Tree Park.  The Lightwood Lodge is a 12ft wide lodge with one double and one twin bedroom.  If apartments are more your thing then the Ashwood Apartment and Corbar Apartments are good options.  The Ashwood Apartment is recommended for couples as this is a cosy apartment with one bedroom.

Lime Tree Park is well located for local attractions and is next to a wooded limestone gorge.  The pretty spa town of Buxton is close by and this town has a host of historic buildings. Other towns of note and well worth a visit are Castleton and Bakewell.

Our Top Tip

Accommodation type: Rio Gold Elite
Accommodation very clean and some nice extra touches such as modern bedding and lamps.
Beds made up for arrival which is always a bonus.
No freezer box in fridge but Morrisons is a couple of minutes away.
TV could do with being bigger, but not a major issue.
Cupboard under sink in bathroom is a pain and takes up too much room. Not really needed either as there is a unit on the wall.
Lack of plug sockets in master bedroom. Only one beside the bed which the lamp is plugged into. Take a double/triple adapter.
