We had a lovely time at the lodge. It’s super well-equipped and spotless, plus the peaceful location really helps you unwind. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The on-site pub was great value too. We’re definitely coming back next year!

Great location; ideally situated for exploring and visiting the nearby coastal towns!Lodge is a good size and had everything for a comfortable stay. Our lodge appeared to be one of the older ones on the park and is a little tired. The park itself is also abit unkept and in need of some TLC. The on-site bar restaurant is pleasant, the food was nice and good value. Note; it is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. The neighbouring pub; The Black Bull is equally nice all be it abit over priced.I feel this park has the potential to be fabulous if it was given the attention needed and maintained. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. The only downside was the abundance of daddy long legs and spiders, but honestly, it’s expected in September/October with a pond nearby. Still, fantastic overall!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The owners are genuinely warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The place itself is adorable, with charming old-school features, a lovely cosy lounge and a really powerful shower. The bed was super comfy and parking right outside was a real bonus. It’s well heated, spotless and perfect for walks around Thaxted’s beautiful half-timbered streets and windmill. Would definitely recommend!

We booked a last-minute getaway at Levisham Lodge and had a decent stay. The place is a bit old-fashioned in its decor, but everything was very clean. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, even if it cooled down a bit by the end. We also enjoyed the meal at the on-site restaurant-definitely a relaxing trip overall.

I booked last minute for a 2-night break in the Levisham Lodge. The decor and furnishings in the lodge are a little dated but it was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hot tub was great although it did seem to have cooled down by the end of our stay. We had a meal at the on-site restaurant which was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were cosy, though the double was a bit tight for us. The hot tub was a great touch, checked daily, which was nice!

Lovely holiday home, comfortable beds although the double was a bit small when you’re used to a king size. Large hot tub that was checked each day.

We had a lovely week at Pickering Lodges! The place was so clean and well-equipped, really had everything we needed. The peaceful setting made it great for exploring nearby spots like Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Plus, being able to order food straight to our lodge was a lifesaver with a toddler. We’ll be back for sure!

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dogs were total fans of the underfloor heating and they had a blast running around outside. Luna especially wagged her tail so much that she hurt it! Definitely plan to come back soon. Great spot for both pups and humans!

Our lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. It's a great location for visiting the coast and the hot tub was lovely when we returned and was checked everyday The bar/reastaraunt was very nice and food was very good. The only think I would change to check the temperature of the water in the bathroom as it didnt get very hot,I meant to mention it to the reception but I forgot. We hope to return soon
Adele
Lovely place would recommend for a little break away
Tony
Fantastic location for exploring the N Y Moors and surrounding towns. Beautiful setting and well layed out lodges, perfectly clean on arrival, our dog friendly lodge was immaculate. 2 X pubs within 5 minute walk, reasonably priced.
Sonya
We stayed in the grosmount lodge. It was our first family holiday and it was absolutely fantastic. The lodge over looks the lake which is a great view especially in the morning. There is a onsite pub and restaurant ran by the owner. There is a pub at the end of the lane that even has crazy golf (Black bull), a hotel and restaurant further down and a garden center cafe the oppersite way. Loads of places to eat in pickering and a lidl if you want to stay in and cook. The hot tub was very warm and great on a evening. Plenty of parking on site and the lodge was clean and comfortable. Tea towel, sponges, washing up liquid was provided. Great break away.
Linda
the lodge was very clean & comftable love where it was easy for going to differant places will be going back very nice
Linda
Great site, run by the owners, who are on-site the majority of the time. We stayed in the 1-bedroom Grosmont lodge, which was really lovely with a great hot tub and was well-equipped. It's located directly opposite the lake and we had daily visits from families of geese and ducks. Spencers pub on site was very pleasant and provides good food (big portions!) at a reasonable price. A few tiny issues: No loo roll supplied, but the owners soon rectified that. We struggled to shut the bathroom window, but this was reported and I'm sure will be sorted. Also, we couldn't seem to get the fridge as cold as we'd like - maybe this could be looked at? All in all, a really enjoyable and comfortable 4 night stay in a great central location for days out.
Joanne
Fantastic holiday, great for a base and everything is around the area for good days out. Husband wants to go again next year.
Sheridan
The lodges are lovely and clean, ideal location for exploring nearby villages and not far from coast.
Vikki
Fantastic lodge with top class facilities and very clean. Each lodge very private but with easy access to lovely bar & grill for food and drink made it wonderfully relaxing. Would highly recommend and will be returning.
Angela
Never been before, it was a great location to all the coast line. will go again.
