We booked a dog walking break and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place was lovely, with great quality accommodation. Pubs and eateries nearby and endless fields for walks. The dog didn’t want to leave either!

The beach-themed decor was really charming and set a lovely mood. The food was decent, but I found it a bit pricey and it wasn’t cooked fresh here, which was a bit disappointing. Still, a nice spot!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and it was really lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs had a blast making new friends around town. The cottage itself is cosy and well-kept and the hot tub was a real treat-especially during those hot days when the cool water was so refreshing. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Watching the planes land from near the property added a bit of extra fun, even though it’s close to Stansted’s flight path. Would definitely recommend!

We recently enjoyed a three-night stay at Bude Coastal Resort and honestly, it was fantastic for a quick getaway. The facilities are top-notch and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful-they really made us and our dog feel right at home. The location is spot-on for a stroll to Bude seafront or a short drive to nearby sights. The lodge itself was stunning-modern, spotless, cosy and warm. Definitely recommend and we’re already planning to return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy little cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The only thing we’d mention is that the hot tub isn’t very private - quite a few windows overlook the area, so it’s not ideal if you want total privacy. It’d be helpful if the descriptions clarified this so future guests can decide if it’s right for them. The onsite restaurant looked just like the photos, which was lovely and the staff were genuinely friendly. However, the menu wasn’t quite up to the same standard as the rest of the place and it was pretty empty most of the time, which made it feel a bit less inviting than it could be.

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and we’re already planning to return. The garden was perfect for the dogs and they couldn’t get enough of it. Luna especially loved the underfloor heating and she came back with a strained tail from all the wagging! Everyone left happy, pups and humans alike.

We had an amazing stay at this cosy cottage! It’s so well equipped, we didn’t need to bring anything and our car was totally overloaded trying to fit everything in. The welcome pack was a nice touch, with all the info and menus we could possibly need. The little extras for our dogs were much appreciated, especially the enclosed garden which they loved. We had a really nice stay overall. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The place itself is beautifully maintained and very clean - we loved the Sennen 3 lodge with its roof terrace and hot tub, which was spotless apart from a couple of minor things (nothing major!). The utility room was a great addition, super handy. The pool was lovely and the hot tub was kept very well, so we enjoyed relaxing there. The gym’s a bit tired and could definitely do with a refresh, plus the machines weren’t online, so we couldn’t join any classes. WiFi was a bit slow when busy and the roof terrace cushions were soaked due to recent weather - probably understandable, but the storage boxes were left open, so maybe staff could have checked that. Towels could have been more plentiful and a few extra exercise mats wouldn’t go amiss. Also, we ended up cleaning the BBQ ourselves since it was left dirty, which was a bit of a pain. Still, these were just small things and we’d happily return. The place really is lovely!

We had a great stay at The Glasshouse, honestly. Most things were spot on, but the main bedroom’s bathroom was a bit too warm for our liking because there was no way to regulate the temperature. Maybe air con would fix that. Overall, lovely place though!

Great location (15 minute walk into town- 20-25 mins to beach). Accommodation was super, comfy beds, good shower , everything we needed - whole apartment was warm and cosy.

We had a lovely week. Family of three including a 2yr old. We were provided with stair gates for the little one and keys to lock the windows. Cottage was a perfect size for us. We had to move our daughter in to the front room as the back room was north facing and considerably colder overnight. The swimming pool was fantastic and the little playground was ideal for toddlers. Staff were fantastic. They have a texting service which worked very well in my opinion. We would love to return, but, would hope that the predicted prices drop in line with what we paid.

Lovely accommodation and great holiday. Everything was really clean and well maintained and the staff were brilliant. It is about 2 kilometers down into Bude and to the beach so a bit far to walk with beach gear but there is lots of beach parking. Access to the site is down a single track road which needs resurfacing but other than that it's brilliant and I would love to go back.

This was our first time in Bude and staying at this site made it even better. I would highly recommend this
