stayed here for a weekend camping kids loved it. was clean safe and very relaxing looking foward to going again next week.

Had a great time. Lodge was nice and the hot tub was great.The facilities were ok although the opening hours of the pool and gym could be more flexible, early opening and later closing.Only moan was the barrier that only worked randomly despite numerous visits to reception to address this, however not a major issue and there was always someone to let you in.

The site and surroundings are lovely, however the upkeep of the Lodge we stayed in was very poor.I had to ask for a mop & bucket and hoover and sweeping brush and purchase cleaning materials to clean the lodge we had the privilege of paying to stay in for a week. The furniture we had no choice but to sit on was very badly stained, the seating was torn and in parts we were practically sitting on the floor due to the springs being damaged. The dining room table was disgusting so I certainly will not be going on a Hoseasons holiday in the near future.

There were thrlee of us and I think that the facilities we had and the helpfulness of the staff made it good value. Mendip 2 was a very well equipped, comfortable lodge.

This lodge needs updating,- The towel rail kept falling off- The shower door was broken - The bed collapsed on us- The kitchen had broken parts everywhere - The sofa was very dirty covered in stains - The curtains were thin pieces of white material - The TV didn’t work The list goes on.

Lovely space, especially the outside area. Hot tub was amazing. Accommodation was a little tired which is fine, but the bathrooms could have done with a better clean. Lovely outside furniture too!

Excellent lodge and facilities. Very helpful staff.

As stated issues with one of the beds, also all the shelves in the freezer were broken. Could do with a bodum style coffee maker and hairdryer but not major concerns

During the heatwave there was no way to cool down the house.

Lots of Ants in lodge

Really lovely lodge like home from home we stayed in 125 and it was great

Initially when we entered the accommodation we thought it was good, lovely and spacious. Disappointed with the standards of cleanliness. See previous comments

Lodge was perfect for us, plenty of room for us all (6) . Everything we needed was provided in the lodge which was great. Some nice little touches left on arrival in Lodge which was much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mendip 2 Lodge. The hot tub was lovely and clean, with water and chemical levels checked daily by staff. Although it was missing the headrests and a few lights weren’t working, it didn’t stop us from using it and thoroughly enjoying it.The lodge itself was clean and comfortable, with fresh bedding and towels provided. While some areas – like the carpets and furniture – could do with a little updating, it didn’t affect our holiday in any way.The outdoor space was well maintained and had comfy seating. You can also hire a BBQ stand, which is a nice touch for al fresco evenings.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable break – perfect for a quiet couples’ getaway.

Lodge was tired and scuffed in places. Sofa was broken and needed replacing. Hot tub was not working properly and ceiling fan in twin bedroom was not working.

Lodges were excellent - clean, well equipped & spacious Hot tub checking twice per day was reassuring. 2 niggles1) swimming pool could be open later than 4/5 given it is closed for lunchtime hour 2) knives in kitchen badly need sharpening !

Our weekend break was enjoyable and relaxing.

As previous review everything up to standard and a very enjoyable holiday hopefully back again next year.

Wonderful lodge in the hillside Hot tub was perfect ???? Only thing is kitchen has ant infestation and could do with lots of ant traps

Excellent site & facilities

On arrival the inside of our lodge was incredibly hot (middle of heatwave) we naturally opened all windows and doors to let some air in. Only to find that most of the windows don’t open properly. We immediately started to unpack our kitchen stuff to find that the fridge/freezer had been switched off and was as hot inside as the lodge. Not good as we had loads of items that needed to be kept cool. The staff did allow us to keep our bits in their fridges but then trying to retrieve our stuff some hours later was a bit of a pain as nobody seemed to know where it had been put and the staff weren’t exactly helpful. Also there were ants everywhere and the lodge was in need of some serious tlc. Definitely not worth the money we paid.

lovely stay in Burrington Premier, the restaurant staff were very accommodating and efficient. great overall experience and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic time at the Cheddar resort and spa. We took our daughter who is 6 and newphew 12 and niece 14. The resort has great facilities with tennis, bastketball, football and we signed up for some of the Go active activities sea scooters and sea kayaks were a hit. Our daughter also enjoyed the pirates paradise. The pool is fabulous, clean and modern. We visited on the first week of the school holidays and it never felt too busy. Go active staff were great.

Beautiful place, good facilities. Good place for families with kids.

Lovely quiet site. We had an accessible lodge which met our needs. Great location for seeing local sights, the beach etc
