stayed here for a weekend camping kids loved it. was clean safe and very relaxing looking foward to going again next week.

While the lodge was a bit run-down, with missing cupboard doors and frayed curtains, we chose to return mainly because of the disabled facilities. It’d be great if these areas were upgraded soon, as it would make a big difference.

It was a lovely trip overall, just a couple of little issues here and there.

We stayed at the lodge recently and loved how spotless it was. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! That said, some furniture felt a bit past its prime and the en suite bed slats kept slipping. Still, a great spot for exploring Somerset and we’d return.

It’s a decent lodge, but honestly, it feels a bit neglected now.

We've stayed here a few times now and always enjoy it. Plenty of activities for everyone-dog walks, kids' archery, football courts-and the lodges are really well equipped. Definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay overall and we’d definitely return. The main issue was the number of dogs in the restaurant - it was quite noisy with barking, especially when there were about five or six dogs crammed into such a small space. A bit disruptive! Still, we liked the place.

The lodge definitely needs some TLC. Everything felt really grimy-dirty counters, carpets and floors. Had to buy cleaning stuff just to make it somewhat liveable. Could do with a proper upgrade too.

We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it had its quirks. The place was a bit worn in spots, especially the living room chair that definitely needs replacing. The only mirror with a socket was in the main bedroom, which was a bit frustrating. The road behind the lodge was quite busy, but it didn’t ruin our trip. The bar’s cocktail making could do with some work, the pump drinks weren’t great. Beds were super comfy and everything was spotless. We’d come back for sure, especially with the good deal we got. All in all, pretty decent!

The en-suite was quite disappointing, especially with that lingering smell. When we looked closer, mould was visible around the ceiling. Not what we expected at all.

Perfect escape for a chilled weekend away

We loved the spacious lodge, perfect for the family and dog. The sofa wasn’t comfy, but everything else was spot on really. Would stay again!

lovely stay in Burrington Premier, the restaurant staff were very accommodating and efficient. great overall experience and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic time at the Cheddar resort and spa. We took our daughter who is 6 and newphew 12 and niece 14. The resort has great facilities with tennis, bastketball, football and we signed up for some of the Go active activities sea scooters and sea kayaks were a hit. Our daughter also enjoyed the pirates paradise. The pool is fabulous, clean and modern. We visited on the first week of the school holidays and it never felt too busy. Go active staff were great.
