This lodge has it's own private drive, garden and is completely surrounded by hedges for perfect privacy. One of the best for this that we've been to. The kitchen and lounge area are clean and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. 2nd bedroom is a bit cosy/small. Its looking a bit shabby here and there. Rips in the wallpaper, stained dining table, cracks in door steps etc. could do with some tlc

All great but have one wish about the steps leading up to the decking. Could do with a side to hold onto as currently there isn't one.

Lovely lodge which had everything you needed. Really comfortable bed and plenty of space within the lodge to be able to relax. Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials so you could cook if you wanted and then dine inside or out on the decking

We recently stayed at Herons Brook Retreat Lodges for a long weekend in June, and while the setting itself is lovely — peaceful gardens, quiet surroundings, and a great location close to Narberth — the condition of the lodge really let the experience down.We were allocated Hornbeam 2 lodge Disappointed with the condition – not what we expected from the ‘Autograph’ collectionConsidering this is marketed as part of their ‘Autograph’ collection of luxurious lodges, we were expecting something far more well-maintained and polished. Instead, we found a number of issues that made the accommodation feel tired and neglected:Paint was peeling off the veranda, and the steps leading up to it were rotting — not only unsightly, but potentially unsafe. The blind in the master bedroom had visible water marks and mould. The vinyl had broken off the sides of both bedside cabinets in the master bedroom. There was rust along the bottom of the radiator in the hallway. The interior doors looked dated and mismatched — the “off white” against bright white frames gave the place a worn-out feel. Our car registration number was supposed to be recognised by the camera on the gate so that it would open automatically but it never opened for us once … we had to get out of the car in the rain to use the intercom so that they’d open the gate for us !We made it known to the staff who said they would sort it but it never worked once for us ! A lady was going back n fore to reception all weekend to talk to staff but there was never anyone manning the desk …. She had water running down the wall in her lodge from the rain While the hot tub and location were enjoyable, the overall presentation of the lodge fell far short of expectations, especially for the price we paid. At this price point and with this branding, we were anticipating something genuinely high-end — what we got felt closer to basic self-catering accommodation in need of some care and attention. This place has a lot of potential, but it needs some serious maintenance and updating before it can fairly be called ‘luxurious.’

We just got back from a lovely week at Goddards Mead. The cottage is super well-equipped, honestly, everything we needed was there. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home instantly. Despite being on a farm, it’s so peaceful!

We had such a lovely stay here! The house was really well kitted out and kept us warm despite the rainy December weather. The bath was just perfect and the shower was spacious enough for a bit of luxury. Being on the flight path wasn’t a problem at all and it’s a great spot for dogs who dislike fireworks since it’s so remote. Beautiful place, really well done. Thanks a lot!

The lodge's definitely showing its age, but they've updated the hot tub which was a nice touch. Everything else pretty much revolves around the golf course, so a car’s pretty much essential. Still, we enjoyed our stay!

Honestly, we had a bit of a rough patch during our stay, but overall it wasn’t too bad. For the price, it was pretty decent. There were a few minor things like a bulb out in the bathroom and some in the living room, plus the floorboards in the kitchen kept sliding around - kinda annoying! The plates and glasses weren’t always spotless either. But the hot tub totally made up for it; it was fantastic and really well maintained. The lodge itself was stunning and the bed was super comfy, so we slept like logs. Unfortunately, towards the end, we hit a bit of bad luck with the power tripping out. An extension lead blew a fuse, leaving us in the dark for about 13 hours - not ideal, especially since we rely on our tech. Still, the staff at both the on-site and head office were really helpful and sorted it out quickly, which we appreciated. Things happen and they handled it well. The kitchen was well stocked too, which was handy. All in all, despite the hiccups, we had a lovely stay and would come back!

We honestly had such a lovely time staying here! From the moment we arrived, the lodge felt super welcoming-warm, cosy and incredibly clean. The beds were really comfy and we appreciated having plenty of pillows for a good night's sleep. The toiletries mini sets were a nice touch, really pretty and useful. The hot tub was fantastic-hot and perfectly maintained every day, which made relaxing so easy. The nearby village, about a 15-minute walk, offers a good choice of shops, a bakery and some charming pubs, though it’s quite a hill climb, so driving might be better if you're not keen on hills. Tenby is only about 20 minutes away by car and it’s such a stunning place to explore. We had a really chilled New Year thanks to this brilliant spot-definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

We spent the week from Monday to Friday over Christmas at these lodges and honestly, it was lovely. The place felt really warm and inviting, making it a perfect cosy retreat. When we arrived, everything was ready, including the hot tub, which was a nice surprise. They even left a Christmas card and a gift for us, which was a sweet touch. The lodges were spotless and well-equipped. There’s a charming little village nearby with shops just a few minutes away and the beach was about a 20-minute drive-perfect for day trips. We also took a trip to Tenby, which was stunning. Would definitely recommend these lodges!

Honestly, our second trip to Bay Tree Lodge was just as lovely as the first. It’s the perfect spot if you want to relax just before Christmas, especially in winter. The lodge has everything you could possibly need - and then some. The bed is super comfy and the whole place is warm and super cosy, which is just what you need on chilly mornings. We never get tired of the stunning views, especially watching the sunrise on a frosty day. Those little robins pop by and are so friendly! And of course, the hot tub under the stairs on a cold evening is just the best. We’re already planning to come back next year!

Our second stay at Bay Tree Lodge 1. What can I say. Again absolutely perfect. This has to be somewhere to go in winter just before Christmas to just unwind. It's an amazing place to stay. The lodge has everything and more for your stay. The bed is super comfortable. The whole lodge is warm and cosy. The view from the lodge will never get boring on a frosty morning while the sun is rising. The little robins who come by are so friendly. The hottub on a cold afternoon or freezing evening under the stairs tops it all off. Can't wait to return next year.

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dogs had a blast in the garden, especially with the underfloor heating-such a nice touch. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but all’s well now. We’ll definitely return, it was brilliant for everyone!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy place tucked away in a peaceful spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and on hand if we needed anything, but they also respected our privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling around. Just a heads up, the cottage is under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, it’s worth knowing. Overall, a great find!

Excellent accommodation and location for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast

Third time here and best ever hot tub great staff very helpfull will return
Julie
Lovely lodge that was spotlessly clean, the whole site is very well maintained. We were a little worried about being on a golf course and lots of golfers wondering around but that didn’t get too busy. Narberth is a nice little town with all the amenities you need however they do tend to be a little pricey. Tenby and Saundersfoot are well worth a visit.
Michael
The Harrington lodge was fantastic, in lovely surroundings and the staff were very helpful with local knowledge. We will definitely return again.

Beautiful lodges so peaceful couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing time. The golf course whilst challenging was not kept very well and I don’t feel guests staying on the site should be expected to pay for the use of
