The lodge was really roomy and the hot tub was just perfect! The view was lovely after a long day exploring, honestly. We loved how spacious everything was, it made relaxing so much easier. Definitely a highlight of our trip, especially unwinding in the hot tub in the evening. Would happily come back again for that alone!

We loved the cottage! It’s perfectly tucked away, offering real peace but still near shops and stuff. The hot tub was fantastic and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely touch. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to return for longer!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy cottage! The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The dog walks right outside were a real bonus and we loved meeting the animals, especially Penelope the pig-she’s adorable! The host was super friendly and quick to reply. Definitely coming back, great value for money!

The place is super peaceful, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Dogs loved the garden!

The Ruskin premiere was definitely good value, but I found the shower setup a bit tricky since it was over the bath. With my disability, I really struggled all week to get in and out. Next time, I’ll definitely opt for a walk-in shower instead. Wouldn’t want to repeat that hassle!

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage was fully equipped and perfect for relaxing. Loved the walks right outside our door. The owners made us feel so welcome. Would definitely return!

We loved the lodge’s extensive selection, but it was a bit odd not having a coffee maker or cafetière. The wine fridge was a nice touch, but no way to brew coffee! Some furniture looked a little worn, but overall comfy.

Very present stay, would definitely be back

Lovely well kept site, staff friendly and beds very comfortable. Hot tub was relaxing and maintained at 40 degrees. Only minor complaint is the walls could do with a wipe down, as some stains!

A lovely and peaceful site, very clean and tidy grounds and the Ruskin 2 lodge we had was very well equipped. The lodge had everything you will need and was excellent. Not really suitable for children as most facilities are for the adults and could benefit from a play area for children. Site is a bit isolated and that's why we chose it but make sure you bring all your supply needs. There is a small shop in reception which has most of your basics and prices are excellent.

Little details made it even more special from the dog treat and toys and little rubber duck for the children. everything you needed down to the dishwasher tablets. The lodges were very clean and the location was breathtaking was literally 5stars and the staff was lovely
