We really enjoyed our stay. The surroundings are stunning and there’s so much to explore nearby. It’s exactly what we needed for a proper break. Brilliant experience!

We stayed at the Cambrian Retreat Lodge and honestly, it was a lovely spot for a getaway. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The only tiny downside was the kitchen flooring, which wasn’t in the best shape. Still, it didn’t spoil our trip at all!

We had a fantastic time at this spacious house nestled in stunning scenery. The hot tub was a real highlight! Beds were super comfy. Only downside was the low water pressure in the bathrooms, so showers weren’t as great as we hoped. Still, a lovely family break!

We had a really nice stay at Isl and View. The place was spotless and super comfy, making it easy to relax. The warm welcome with prosecco and local biscuits was a lovely touch! The hot tub was definitely a highlight and got plenty of use from us all. The garden was practical rather than fancy, but still a pleasant spot to unwind. It would be great if they added more tall plants to screen the work area from view, just for a bit more privacy.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It’s beautifully furnished and super well equipped-especially the big BBQ, which was a real treat! Seven Springs is so peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. You’ll need a car though, as everything’s a bit spread out. Aberaeron’s only a few miles away, so no hassle for a meal out.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Yes, there’s a bit of noise from the new log cabins being built, but it didn’t ruin the holiday at all.

We had an amazing time at Cader Idris! Honestly, the lodge was gorgeous, spotless and fully kitted out - everything we needed. The hot tub was such a treat after a day out, super warm and relaxing. Terry really went above and beyond, sending us all the info beforeh and, giving us a call before we arrived and even leaving a bottle of Prosecco for us - such a lovely touch! The location was perfect, so peaceful with breathtaking views, really made the trip special. The only tiny gripe was the bedroom curtains let in quite a bit of early morning light, but it’s not a big deal. Huge thanks to Terry and everyone at Seven Springs, we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Shalom Lodge recently and honestly, it was fantastic. The beds were super comfy, the lounge was cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus, the hot tub was the cherry on top. Definitely a solid 10/10!

We had a lovely stay here. The place was spotlessly clean and felt really luxurious. Arriving to wine and biscuits was a nice touch! The hot tub was massive and ready to go, which we loved. It’s so peaceful, with nothing on site to disturb that vibe. Hopefully, they won’t add too many more accommodations, as it might ruin the tranquility.

Date of stay: 13th October 2024
Our stay at Seven Springs was quite enjoyable overall. We only stayed three nights over a weekend, but it was a lovely little getaway. We arrived quite late and initially, we struggled a bit because the check-in desk was closed, plus the contact number on the building didn’t work when we tried calling. Luckily, I found another number in my booking details and the staff was quick to guide us on how to access our lodge and where to find the keys. When we finally got inside, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and some shortbread waiting for us, which was a nice touch after a long journey. The setting itself was peaceful and picturesque; we couldn’t hear a thing from neighbouring guests, which made it perfect for unwinding. We brought our 11-month-old puppy along, but there aren’t many public footpaths close by, so we had to drive about seven minutes to find a scenic route on ViewRanger, near a little stream - perfect for our pup to stretch his legs and splash about. The lodge’s facilities were spot on - super clean, well-equipped kitchen and the shower had a really strong flow. Now, I’d say the only hiccup was with the hot tub - it was way too hot! I did message the site manager for help, but didn’t hear back, which was a bit frustrating. Luckily, we managed to open the door and cool it down to 36 degrees since it was set to 42. Also, I’d suggest the park switch to better dishwasher tablets because some of our crockery and utensils still had food residue after washing, which was a bit disappointing. As for the price, with how much things have gone up lately, it’s probably fair enough. Pre-Covid, it felt quite steep given the size and location, but now, it’s reasonable - if it weren’t a six-hour drive for us, we’d definitely come back again! All in all, a pretty nice weekend getaway.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could think of, making cooking a breeze. The place was spotless and super comfy. Loved relaxing in the hot tub with that lovely pond and sea view. The welcome treats of prosecco and biscuits were a nice touch. Can’t wait to come back!

Date of stay: 24th July 2024
We had a great stay at the cottage! It was spacious and cosy, perfect for relaxing. The garden was private and ideal for our dog to run around. The hot tub was a real highlight, so relaxing after a day out. The oven was a bit tricky to get going and there were some minor damages like a punched wardrobe door and crayon marks on the table, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. We’d definitely come back!
Emma, Huntingdon
Date of stay: 21st May 2024
We recently stayed at Cader Idris and honestly, we’d recommend it to anyone after a chilled, comfy escape near the Welsh coast. It’s a perfect spot for a romantic getaway, no doubt about it. From the moment we arrived, we could see how well kept the place was - super clean and in great nick. Honestly, the photos on the website don’t really do it justice; it’s even nicer in real life! The bed was incredibly comfy and the shower was lovely-hot and powerful, just how we like it. Plus, there’s loads of storage, so we didn’t feel cluttered at all. Now, we’re usually a bit wary of self-catering spots because they often skimp on kitchen essentials. You know, an old pan, a single spoon, no chopping board-things like that. But not here! The kitchen was fully stocked - fridge with a freezer, a decent oven, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The knives weren’t blunt either, which is a rare find! The big towels were a lovely touch and the mugs were a good size for proper cuppas. The TV had Netflix, Freeview and YouTube - maybe more but that’s what we watched. Wi-fi was a bit patchy at times but overall pretty decent. The outdoor space was a real highlight, especially the hot tub. It was ready to go when we arrived, spotless and just perfect for two. You could fit more, but it’d be a tight squeeze! It’s really private out there, which we loved and having a barbecue was such a bonus. We enjoyed relaxing outside under the stars. Llanon is just a short drive away; there’s a small shop for essentials and a pub serving food. We didn’t eat there but it looked popular and nice. The pebble beach nearby is stunning - well worth a visit if you’re into scenic walks and beach days. Terry, the park warden, was super helpful, especially when we arrived late and couldn’t find the place. Natasha, the housekeeper, was lovely too - she went out of her way to give us the Wi-Fi password and check everything was alright. If we had to suggest improvements, a brighter outdoor light near the barbecue would be handy, especially at night. Also, a little welcome pack with Wi-Fi info, local tips and how to operate the heating would have been great. And maybe more detailed instructions before arrival about how to get in and what’s in the cabin - the email with safety info and directions was helpful, but some extra details would be perfect. All in all, we had a fantastic time and hope others do too!
Emma, Worcester
Date of stay: 12th May 2024
We had a really lovely break away with our dog recently. The enclosed garden was a big plus for us, especially since we didn’t have to worry about him dashing off while enjoying the hot tub. That was one of the main reasons we picked this lodge - knowing our pooch could roam safely. We stayed in the Cader Idris lodge, which seemed to get the best sunlight, morning and evening, compared to the other options. The only thing is, Cader Idris faces the main park, while Cambrian Retreat’s garden faces away, giving a bit more privacy. Honestly, though, the whole park was peaceful and quiet, so I don’t think it made much difference. One thing we thought could improve things is a full fence where the lodges connect - the slatted fence isn’t quite enough when dogs are eager to meet each other. A solid barrier might stop the barking and make things even calmer. The lodge itself was lovely - modern, well-equipped and comfortable. Next time, though, we’ll remember to bring oven gloves, kitchen scissors, salt, cooking oil and kitchen roll. A recycling bin would’ve been handy too, but we couldn’t see any on the park, which was a bit confusing. Still, everything else was there - crockery, utensils, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, towels, you name it. We enjoyed trips down to the beach and watching the sunset - maybe a bit of a walk, but doable if you’re up for a hill or two. We definitely plan to return and will recommend it to friends and family - it was a great stay overall!

We had a really nice time in this modern lodge. It’s well-equipped and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfy and the hot tub was a lovely touch. The only hiccup was whenever we cooked on the hob, it set off the smoke alarm, which was a bit annoying - I think it even triggered the neighbouring lodge’s alarm too! Apart from that, we loved it and would definitely come back!

Would have appreciated an additional toilet downstairs, definitely helpful.

If we could move the park closer to our favourite beaches we’d never go anywhere else, and would look to buy in the future.
Alex
We were incredibly lucky with the weather and we’re able to watch a beautiful sunset each evening and even went down to Aberaeron to watch it on our last evening. Highly recommend and will be booking again
David
Superb quality lodges, extremely quiet park for peaceful get away.

Lovely lodge with everything you could want in a very quiet and relaxing resort. The resort was what we wanted. Minimal facilities, but what we wanted was there. will return for the peace. Beautiful.

A fantastic holiday home with everything and more. It felt very much like a home from home and in a great location. We are already planning our return and would highly recommend!

We had a lovely time, took the wrong turn at first but friendly neighbours helped us. Nice and quite relaxing break

Really enjoyed our weekend in the Cader Idris. Lodge was very clean larger than the photos and has a private enclosed garden with a hotub which was perfect as we were able to safely let our dog out We were greeted by Terry and a bottle of processo and biscuits. In other lodges I've been you feel like you can't relax as the park managers normally greet you with dos and donts the only thing Terry told us to do is have a relaxing weekend and enjoy ourselves Will definatly return beautiful site and quiet everything is there what you need like a home away from home Thank you so much for our peaceful stay enjoyed it so much
Samantha
We have had the most wonderful break at Seven Springs. Beautiful views and very tranquil. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (including a bottle of fizz on arrival). Placed in a perfect little village with a shop and fish and chip shop. Perfect position for visiting Aberaeron, New Quay and Aberystwyth. Also due to the walled outside area we could take our dog with no worries of him escaping. We will be back.
Ellie
We absolutely LOVED our trip to Seven Springs. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our entire trip, the lodge was beautiful, clean and well equipped, the hottub was fabulous and warm for when we got to the lodge, Terry was an absolute star, sending us everything we needed to know, phoning us before arrival and even left a bottle of Prosecco for us to enjoy. The location was spot on, so peaceful and the views were sensational. Our only one tiny thing was the curtains in the bedroom in our lodge let in a lot of light, we are early risers anyway but something to consider. Thank you so much to Terry and the team at Seven Springs x
Bethany
We stayed in the Cambrian retreat lodge and we found it was incredibly relaxing! The lodge itself was fully kitted out with everything you could think of! There was even a washing machine and dishwasher! it was really modern and clean, the only thing we did find was due to the amazing weather, once the heat had come into the lodge, it stayed. Meaning it was really hot through the night. The location was really good, very close to nearby towns - would deffo need a car if coming here. Overall had a really positive experience and already thinking of booking again :)
