All I can say is the van was just perfect the hot tub amazing as we're the views across the park and a perfect sea view
Rubbish! We only stayed 1 night out of the 3 nights!
Stunning lodge and wonderful hot tub totally recommend
Staff were lovely Accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for our week stay Lovely clean site Lovely beach Lovely walks Very clean onsite indoor heated swimming pool We enjoyed our stay so much we didnt want to leave
Lodge was beautiful and spacious.loved the hot tub which was checked twice a day.We did have a little trouble with the signal on the tv.We did feel that the settee was very low but then maybe its because were grandparents. We definitely would recommend this lodge.
Booked last minute & wanted a pet friendly one cos son was taking dog. Caravan nice, very clean on arrival, nice plot by stream with plenty of grass for grandson to play on.
Nice clean, modern and comfortable caravan
Very lovely caravan was like home from home beautiful
We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and had such a lovely time. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfy. The hosts were really friendly and even though its on a working farm, it felt so peaceful and relaxing!
Really enjoyed the walk, the fields were beautiful and the dogs loved exploring everywhere! Great day out.
This place really is a good place. The hot tub was a lovely touch, perfect for relaxing evenings. The house is well kitted out and everyone was super friendly. If you want a peaceful escape, this is it!
We had such a lovely stay at this good place! The location is truly peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing break. The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, without intruding on our privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day. One thing to keep in mind-it's right under Stansted's flight path, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be an issue if you're noise-sensitive. All in all, wed definitely return!
Had a great weekend here, would definitely recommend it for a peaceful anniversary getaway. Loved it!
We just got back from a wonderful week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we needed, really well stocked. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. Despite being on a farm, it was such a peaceful spot, loved it!
We had a truly relaxing stay. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped and had some lovely little touches. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
One of the best vans weve stopped in
We really enjoyed the stay, the surrounding fields were perfect for a peaceful walk with the dogs.
We had such a lovely stay at this cosy little cottage! Its perfectly tucked away for peace but still close enough to enjoy local shops and cafes. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept everything super warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel right at home. Cant wait to return for a longer stay soon!
We stayed in the caravan recently and honestly, it was quite nice for a basic place. Everything was spotless and the sheets were all wrapped up in plastic, which was a nice touch. There were little extras like washing up liquid too. We werent told about the heaters, but it turned out they had heaters in every room, including the bathroom. A pleasant surprise!
Really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was lovely and the jacuzzi was a real highlight.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Sharon and Robert go above and beyond to make sure youre comfortable and relaxed. Its a peaceful spot, perfect for a quiet escape. Well definitely be back soon!
Loved the hot tub, really relaxing stay!
The cottage was lovely, really peaceful and perfect for a quiet retreat. The surrounding farm scenery was stunning and we loved watching the horses. The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a top spot for anyone wanting a relaxing break. Wed go back for sure!
We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful without being pushy, which we appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a great hot tub-definitely a highlight! Wed happily come back and already told friends about it. Thanks for a lovely break!
We had a lovely time! The place is super peaceful and Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure everythings perfect. Even on our second stay, were already planning to come back again soon. Brilliant!
Absolutely loved our stay! The owners really went above and beyond. It was super relaxing and well be telling everyone about it!
We stayed in the dog-friendly Gold Plus Two, all on our own after losing our boy just before the holiday. The caravan was truly impressive-spotlessly clean and well-maintained, we couldnt fault it at all!
This place is such a gem! Really peaceful and well kitted out, we loved relaxing in the hot tub. The hosts are lovely too. Perfect if youre after a quiet getaway. Definitely recommend this spot, its just lovely!
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, but dont worry, its super private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely folks who made us feel really welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely enclosed and with nice furniture. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and had some great meals in Thaxted, especially at The Star and The Maypole. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it!
We stayed here for a week in July with our two small dachshunds and it was such a lovely experience! The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially since the weather was scorching. It was great to see the hosts being so welcoming; you could tell they genuinely cared. Watching the planes land near Stansted was quite entertaining too, even if its a bit noisy at times. The dogs loved making new friends in the village of Thaxted and wed definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway. Well be back!
Our stay at Clarach Bay Holiday Village was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation was superb and the staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend. A+
Fantastic family holiday!!!!
Two things that i would like to see are somewhere to get vegi food and bacon butties/brunch/hot drinks in a morning.
Excellent food including wood fire pizza, traditional fish and chips and burgers, crepes, ice cream. Bed extremely comfortable. Type of customers are disappointing as they complained over prices which were actually reflective of the current climate. Seagulls noisy, but still had a great sleep. Really helpful staff and good evening entertainment.
The location is great, it has direct access to the beach. There are plenty of food options and we found the pricing very reasonable. The caravan was great too, it had everything we needed for our stay and It was spotlessly clean. The location of the caravan was also great, at first we were a little concerned as it was right next to the pool but there wasn’t too much noise apart from the seagulls on the roof. The park facilities such as the pool and entertainment were also good. We took our 3 year old granddaughter and she had a great time, there was plenty to keep her entertained. The staff were all friendly and more than happy to help. The only negative thing was the chippy. They only cook one order at a time which caused a backlog and long waiting time. We would definitely recommend this park and would return.
Lovely place, very happy, friendly staff, Ffion at the swimming pool was great too.
Lovely site in a fabulous location. The caravan was first rate and we had a warm welcome from the staff. Lost a point for on site facilities as we didn't use all of them so can't comment, but there was plenty to do! Would definitely visit again and recommend. (Remember to log out of your Netflix when you leave...!) ?
Lovely site quite friendly staff caravan was clean the only issue I had was the rubbish being left on the site and beach needs more maintenance to ensure this doesn't happen apart from that it's a lovely place
Caravan was clean in a lovely position comfortable really enjoyed it
I only booked this on a whim, best decision I ever made.
Superb location, onsite facilities are brilliant, staff are friendly and so helpful, evening entertainment in the club is brilliant. Everything is very clean.
Would recommend 100%. Defo booking again for 2023
