The garden was perfect for our dogs, who couldn’t get enough of it, especially with the underfloor heating - they were so cosy. We had an amazing weekend here, it really ticked all our boxes. The place was perfect for us and the pups-they adored the underfloor heating and the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much, she strained it! The vets said it’s just from all the fun. Honestly, we’re already planning our next visit, can’t wait to come back!

We spent a week here with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely! The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs made friends with some local pups, which was a treat to see. The cottage itself is really cosy and well-kept, but the best part was definitely the hot tub. Perfect for cooling off during the heatwave! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. Also, watching the planes land from near the property added a bit of excitement. We’d definitely come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm. It’s surprisingly private, which we appreciated and the owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people. The place is really spacious inside, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn’t want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! Honestly, we didn’t need to bring much because everything was supplied - we overloaded the car for no reason. The welcome pack was really helpful, with all the info about the place and local menus, which was a nice touch. The owners, Sharon and Rob, responded quickly whenever we had questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was definitely a highlight. Thanks for such a relaxing getaway, we really appreciated all the little extras!

We had such a nice stay at this place! The location is really peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding. The owners were super friendly and always ready to help without intruding, which we appreciated. The hot tub was a real highlight after long days out cycling. Only thing to mention is that the cottage is quite close to Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us much, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it’s worth knowing. Overall, a lovely spot!

The site has no shop, so visitors need to factor this in There are local shops easily reached in the car,nearest main supermarket 17 miles Cardigan Prices local are more than main supermarkets The site is very well kept. We could not find any fault .The site staff are obviously professionals
