We had such a lovely stay at this cosy cottage! It really is a little gem - everything you could possibly need is there, so no need to pack much. We were surprised at how well equipped the place was; I overpacked the car, honestly. The welcome pack was super handy, full of useful info and menus, which was thoughtful. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just the treat we needed after days out. Sharon and Rob were quick to reply whenever we had questions. A perfect little escape!

Had a great weekend here, really peaceful and perfect for our anniversary. Would definitely come back!

The place itself is charming, with its traditional half-timbered style and a really good shower. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made it feel like a proper home away from home. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus. It’s well-heated, spotlessly clean and perfect for walks in the fields or exploring Thaxted’s pretty streets. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two mini daschunds and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage itself is really charming and the hot tub was a real treat, especially during those scorching days when cooling it down was a bonus! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. It was nice seeing their horses being taken out to the fields each day. Being near Stansted and on the flight path, we enjoyed watching the planes land, which added a bit of entertainment. Would definitely recommend Hide - we’d come back!

We had such a great weekend stay! The place was just perfect for what we wanted and we really enjoyed our time here. We booked this place for a dog walking holiday and it was just what we needed. Lovely accommodation, close to pubs and restaurants and endless fields for walks. The dog didn’t want to leave either! Definitely recommend.

A quiet and basic site. We hired a lodge which was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Bear in mind you are next to the A47, but it didn't bother us as we used the site as a base to explore Norfolk. You could hear the traffic slightly, but it did not impact on our stay. We dealt with the lady (maybe the owner?) who was very friendly and helpful.

Had the best 4 nights away in a lodge which was spotlessly clean and modern throughout. Location was great as we were there during the mini heatwave so went on beach days everyday! Would stay again and lady in reception so helpful and welcoming

Great lodge, good location

We had a lovely stay here for the weekend. The cabin was very clean and modern. All the facilities in the cabin were very very good. There isn't much to do at the site but this is OK for us as we don't use them anyway. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return. Thank you.
