We had a lovely stay at Lakeside, the lodge was spotless and Carol’s hospitality made it extra special. Very tranquil spot, definitely recommend!

We stayed at this lodge and loved the peaceful lakeside setting, perfect for relaxing. It’s only about six miles from Lincoln, which is handy and Saxilby nearby has good pubs, a Chinese takeaway, fish and chips, plus a Co-op for essentials. The train to Lincoln runs hourly, making trips easy. We’d definitely recommend The Dambusters Inn in Scampton for a wartime memorabilia fix and the Bomber Comm and Centre at Cannock Hill is well worth a visit-it’s a lovely spot to unwind and explore history!

We had such a great time at Lakeside Luxury Lodges! Carol and Phil made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The lodge itself was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The views of the lake were just stunning. We’re already planning to come back!

We booked last minute for a quick 3-night stay at Lakeside Luxury Lodges to catch up with friends nearby and honestly, it was a great decision. The Hedgehog Lodge we stayed in was perfect for us - sleeping four with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was both comfy and spacious, plus the big decking area was a real bonus. The owners, Phil and Carol, were just lovely - super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We especially enjoyed Carol’s full English breakfast and the afternoon teas with cakes in the café, which were absolutely delicious. All in all, we’d give it a solid 10/10 - fantastic experience!
