We stayed at The Lodge and, honestly, it’s a mixed bag. Some areas felt a bit tired, missing a headboard and the small double bed wasn’t quite what we hoped for. Still, it was clean, the facilities were decent and the staff were really friendly. We’d definitely return for a quick off-season getaway despite the little snags!

We had such a fantastic holiday! Most of our time was spent exploring Cornwall, with St Ives being just as charming as everyone describes. The highlight was definitely spotting seals at Polly Joke Beach in Newquay-absolutely loved it! Would definitely go back again.

It was a bit disappointing not staying in Lidden Lodge 28 due to maintenance, but Lodge 9 was still quite comfortable and cozy overall.

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, just what we needed for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed at Lidden Lodge No 30 and really enjoyed it. The location by the lake was stunning and the big decking area was perfect for relaxing, though another chair would’ve been a nice addition. Inside, the lodge felt cosy but was still well equipped and spotless. The only downside was the shower, which screeched loudly every time-probably to encourage quick showers! The hairdryer didn’t sound great either, so we were a bit cautious. Still, it was a lovely break and we’d definitely recommend it!

Really enjoyed the little hot tub, perfect for solo relaxing. Managing the lid was straightforward, even alone. The lodge was cosy, with parking nearby-lovely stay!

We stayed in this lovely cabin and honestly, the hot tub was fantastic! Everything was spotless and super cosy. The only small gripe was the bed and pillows - a bit too soft for our taste, but no biggie. We’d definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay, really enjoyed it!

We loved the cosy feel of the place nestled among the trees. The location is absolutely stunning, especially in the summer, we bet! The only downside is the access road-it's a single track about a quarter mile long and blocked at times, which could be a pain when it’s busy. Still, a lovely spot!

We really enjoyed our stay, but a few cobwebs were noticeable here and there, which was a bit unexpected. The hot tub was a bit limited with only one setting and no lights and the steps outside could definitely do with some lighting. Still, nice overall!

The place was spotless, well-stocked and perfect for cooking, really impressed us all.

Honestly, we weren’t impressed. The en-suite had a strong musty smell and there was no chopping board or enough pots in the kitchen. The sofa was pretty basic, more like a caravan seat and definitely not comfy for relaxing. The place claims to sleep four, but really, only two can sit comfortably and one chair isn’t enough. Not what we expected at all.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was super comfy and warm, but the outside could do with some sprucing up. Hot tub cover needs replacing though!

Our stay at Leycroft Valley was fantastic! The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight. Would definitely come back again, highly recommended!

We recently stayed at this lovely spot and honestly, it was just what we needed. The lodge was spotless and well maintained and we were pretty chuffed to find out there was a hot tub waiting for us-such a bonus! Laycroft’s location is spot on for exploring Cornwall and we loved how peaceful it was. Definitely a place we’ll return to!

Great product, exactly what we wanted!

We had a fantastic stay! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed - really well looked after. The hot tub was a highlight, checked daily, super relaxing. The walk to the beach took about half an hour, but the views and local spots made it worth it. The beach itself was gorgeous and the sea so clear. Loved it!

Honestly, we wouldn’t stay here again. The drive was a nightmare-narrow country lane, full of horses and cars going both ways, so it was quite stressful to get there. When we arrived, the place looked nothing like the photos online; it was a bit of a letdown. The hot tub was pretty tired, lots of jets didn’t work and the water was boiling at 39°C, so we had to wait ages before we could use it. Plus, there’s a curfew after 10 pm, which was annoying. The beaches nearby are lovely, but for what we paid, we expected better quality overall. Not really worth it in our opinion, sadly.

The lodge was lovely, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. The bathroom felt fresh and modern, like it had just been redone. We had a great stay overall!

I booked the days but wanted to reduce to two. Was told three was minimum and if wanted to cancel would only get 10% back. That was only one day after booking. Outrageous!!

Beautiful location and just perfect so our Labrador. Really close to local town and the the most beautiful beaches and views.

Lovely lodge with hot tub, well situated for lots of different visits. Very clean and comfortable within a good distance for loads of attractions. Initially the road to arrive is a bit of a scary drive as it is very narrow. You soon get used to it and all drivers are very considerate as these narrow roads often lead you to the most interesting places.

We have been coming to this sight for many years and have seen it developed .The position of this sight in Cornwall is one of the best ,positioned down a small lane not far from all the lovely beaches and Perranporth itself.The lodges are tucked away with lots of trees surrounding them and very peaceful.The lodge interior was comfortable and clean and all you need while you are on holiday.We stopped for two weeks and we asked if we could have fresh towels for the second week which they provided also changing our bed sheets at the same time.
