The wardrobe doors were a bit sticky and didn’t slide smoothly, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the shower in our double room wouldn’t turn off properly without using a towel to help. Still, the stay was decent enough.

Great stay, very comfy and everything we needed.

Honestly, the stay was a bit of a mixed bag. The first night, the boiler was out, but the staff responded quickly, which was good. Unfortunately, it broke down again the next day. The bathroom tap was really tricky, you had to push it down just right to get it to work. The side door wouldn’t unlock properly and the Wi-Fi was pretty rubbish, plus Netflix kept cutting out. We had a late checkout but decided to leave early because of all these issues.

We’ve stayed at this lodge several times now and it never disappoints. Always clean, super comfy and well looked after. We love it here - already booked for next year! Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in a lovely spot with cosy lodges, perfect for a quiet break. The place was spotless and the staff were really friendly and receptive to our feedback. We did have a couple of small issues - the oven didn’t heat properly and we found the area under the sofa quite dirty. Still, these didn’t spoil our stay. The lodge was comfy with plenty of tea, coffee and even a bottle of ale! We’d definitely come back. Thanks a lot!

We stayed in a Hurricane Lodge after grabbing a last-minute deal and honestly, it was great! The place is in a peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing. The layout is spot-on, with everything you could need for a short getaway. We stayed three nights but reckon you could stretch it to a week easily. The sofa bed in the lounge was handy since we had five people. Activities like Treetops and clay pigeon shooting were well organised and good value. Plus, Portsmouth, the New Forest and Marwell Zoo are all just a short drive away-ideal for day trips!

Honestly, this place was a bit of a letdown. The rooms are tiny and there’s barely enough space for 8 people. We kept bumping into bed ends and got bruises trying to squeeze past. The kitchen was small and awkward to use and no vegetable peeler in sight. Definitely not worth the hassle!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was lovely and the space was quite generous. Only small gripe is the bunk beds - there were seven of us and honestly, one of those beds could easily be replaced with a proper single. Had to move a mattress to the floor just to make it work. Still, we're planning to book a 10 next time - much better for us!

We’ve been coming to Marwell Lodge for our ‘Galintines’ weekend for three years now and honestly, it just gets better. The lodge is ideal for us gals, especially the mums needing a break. We always leave relaxed and happy. Definitely booking again next year! It’s just perfect.

We stayed right after Christmas and it was such a good choice. The lodge was spotless, comfy and just what we needed. There’s a cute soft play area, a park and some adventure golf - though we thought the golf was a bit steep for what you get. The park could definitely be improved too. Overall, we had a lovely time and would come back!

The lodge was pretty comfy, but honestly, we couldn’t see fitting more than 6 people in. It felt a bit tight and the kitchen wasn’t very practical - only room for one person at a time. Also, no wooden spoons and tiny glasses, which was a bit annoying.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The owner was super friendly and attentive, which made us feel really welcome. The kids couldn’t get enough of the hot tub and quad bikes, plus they enjoyed the outdoor adventure park too. The Bistro meals were great value, though it’d be helpful to clarify cancellations at booking. Lovely place!

We had a really lovely stay! The place was spotless and super cosy, especially with the central heating. The hot tub was a real treat, checked daily and perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was well equipped, though we brought some utensils just in case for our Christmas dinner. Plenty of space for all six of us-definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time at the lodge for my sister’s hen do with our group of 10 women. The setting was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying some drinks and games without any interruptions. The environment is so peaceful and beautiful, honestly I could’ve stayed longer! Even though it’s mainly for adults, we noticed it’s really friendly for all ages, including little kids. Definitely planning to bring my nieces next time - loved it!

Lodges where great very clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely time at the lodge. The place was clean, comfortable and better than we expected. Only thing I’d say is that the kitchen could do with a few more things such as extra frying pans (one is not enough) and chopping boards for example. The showers had such a strong pressure it was brilliant! The beds were all comfortable. We all enjoyed the hot tub which was a lovely spot to watch the bats fly over in the evening! The kids enjoyed the outdoor trampolines and the indoor soft play too. The eating areas were ok, nice feel about them but unfortunately there was a strong smell around there during the time we stayed. The pizzas were very nice (but please have a proper veggie option!) and the cooked breakfasts were superb. There is a lovely walk to do around the lake too with a stunning wild meadow if you go at the right time. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Marwell which gave us easy access to Paulton’s Park, the New Forest, Butser Ancient Farm and even the beach.

Really lovely lodge with excellent activities to entertain children of all ages; the soft play was a big hit.

Overall a very good break. The lodge was fine for two people and contained everything we needed. Bed was unusually comfortable as we've had some horrors in the past. Very quiet which we like despite all lodges being occupied.

We loved our stay here, there’s something for the whole family. Staff were all great. Bistro bar and pizzas definitely worth a try and visit! Yum yum

What a beautiful place and friendly staff. Had a wonderful long weekend. Lodge needs some minor TLC but nothing that would stop me visiting again. The site is beautiful with lovely walks and plenty for children to do.

3rd time back here this time with a much larger party so had the 4 bedroom lodge which was brilliant all the lady's were very happy an want to rebook to come again so a thumbs up from all .
