Loved it i stayed in one of the lodges for 3 night my wife and me loved the food in the pub the pool was just as nice kids loved i don't have a bad thing to say.

We stayed in 96 brambles.. our accommodation was wonderful.. With a mini welcome pack of washing up liquid, cloth, sponge and tea towel we had a washing machine and dishwasher in the modern kitchen.Full size single beds in the twin room, with plenty of wardrobe space and a dressing table.Very spacious main bathroom with a bath and vanity unit with the sink.The main bedroom was very big with plenty of storage and wardrobe space, a large dressing table and a king size bed and en-suite with shower.

The only reason my rating lost a star was due to the checking-in process. Cannot fault the accommodation, a beautiful lodge in a lovely green part of the park. The communal pool was really nice although we didn’t use it much. Café was small but OK although quite expensive. The “shop” was even smaller and just a few shelves of essentials, best to stock up at the supermarket which is a drive away. CHECK-IN ISSUES - for days before the holiday I received several emails about the “digital key” that I could use to open the lodge and avoid checking-in at reception. Myself and 2 other guests downloaded the necessary app and awaited the email. More emails arrive reminding us to have the app ready and head straight to the accommodation of arrival. We were very excited to try the digital key! However upon arrival we park up at our lodge - apps at the ready to unlock the door… It doesn’t work. We realise the locks look like normal locks that require a key. So we hauled ourselves back in the car and down to reception. To be told “ah yes that lodge doesn’t have a digital key, you need a physical key that is in the key safe”. Would have been fine but why the incessant emails about the digital key and reception-less check-in!? We’re given the code to the safe and retrieve the keys. Only to realise there isn’t actually a key for the front door. Only the back doors, with no explanation. Again, it was fine but wish we’d been told! Aside from the check-in we enjoyed the holiday and would recommend the lodge with a hot tub and it felt so luxurious looking out at the green hills from the tub ??

All was Ok apart from there were no draws in the bedroom to my clothes and there was no where in the shower to to put my shower gel, every thing else was fine

We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was spotless and perfectly situated, with stunning views that made every morning special. It truly felt like a home away from home - everything we needed was there. The hot tub was a real highlight and our dog absolutely loved it too! Definitely planning to return soon. Cheers!

Awful. Myself and my partner stayed in number 12 moonshadow rise. The toilet seat in the bedroom was cracked the light was handing down. The blind in the living room was broke. We told reception about the toilet seat and blind and the man said he would pass it onto maintenance. Which he didn’t. I asked the maintenance man when he came for the hot tub and he said no one communicated with him but he will come back. Which he did. However did not fix the blind. Left us without one and left us without a toilet seat. The carpet was old and stained and was torn under the dinning room table. The cupboard in the hallway had used latex gloves shoved on the floor and out last night which was 16th march, we could hear scratching, it appeared to be a rat. The furniture on the decking was rusty. This overall ruined the whole experience. However the gym and the swimming pool was great.

We had a lovely stay! The lodge was super comfy and all the facilities worked perfectly. The kids loved the little gifts and the ice-creams in the freezer. The fire in the lounge was just amazing. Definitely a weekend to remember!

As previously advised needed a quick hoover, could do with a mop and bucket and new main area carpet/bit of updating ????????

We stayed at Fairview Heights 13 and honestly, it was fantastic. The place was spotless, roomy and super charming. The owners really did think of everything, from games to colouring books. Loved it!

Had a great family holiday and would recommend. Very good location and great staff. The cleaning of lodge could have been a lot better. The hover really smelled when used and kitchen needed cleaning on arrival .didn’t like key system tbh a normal key would have been better I’m not sure why they thought the extra fuss would be necessary. But overall a great holiday

We had a lovely family break and would definitely recommend it. The location was spot on and the staff were really friendly. The lodge itself could’ve been cleaner - the hover had a strange smell and the kitchen wasn’t wiped down when we arrived. The key system was a bit of a pain; a regular key would’ve been simpler, honestly. Still, overall, it was a great holiday!

We recently stayed at Woodpecker Vale Lodge 13 and honestly, there were a few niggles. The beds weren’t the most comfy, as they’re the spring type and you could feel the springs through the thin mattresses, which was a bit annoying. Also, there was no hairdryer in the lodge, which would’ve been handy. The outside light was out too-probably just a bulb, but with it being winter and dark early, it would’ve been nice to have. The site’s lighting isn’t great at night, so if you prefer more light, that might be an issue.

Honestly, our stay had its ups and downs. The bath panelling was pretty dirty, which was a bit off-putting and the hoover looked like it was from ages ago. We also had to move the shed because it was blocking the gate, which was a bit of a hassle. There was no spare bedding for accidents, so that was a worry with young kids. On the bright side, the lodge's location on the dog field was perfect for our Labrador and we loved the dishwasher and washer dryer. Plenty of space for our little one to play too, so mixed feelings overall.

The bed was way too small, we expected a king size again.

Will definitely return. Lovely Park, spacious, location is very central to Paignton and Goodrington and Zoo.

The park, accommodation, pub leisure centre were wonderful. Certainly the lodge had a wow factor.

Had a lovely week at Devon Hills, very peaceful site and lovely views. The comfort lodge we stayed it was very spacious, and there was plenty of space for 4 adults. The only thing would be if 6 people were staying in the lodge, there was only patio furniture for 4. We picked a good week weather wise to. Would definitely recommend.
