If you are a large person, I would recommend a larger caravan as the bathrooms are on the small size as are the showers. But they are always cleaned to a very good standard and perfect for us

The cottage was lovely, really cosy and in a perfect spot for us-peaceful and away from the busy areas. The hot tub was a real treat too. Owners were friendly but not pushy, theyve got the balance just right!

The hosts were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, yet kept the atmosphere quiet and relaxed. After a day of cycling, the hot tub was just what we needed - absolute bliss! A heads up though, the cottage sits directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a few hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didn't ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived, Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel truly welcome. The buildings history is beautifully preserved and the conversion is done with real care. Goddard's Mead is perfect for a chilled-out stay, with everything you need just right. The location is fantastic-lots of charming villages and towns nearby to explore, each with their own stories and lovely sights. Definitely recommend taking the time to wander around, its well worth it!

Plus, the walks nearby are fantastic. Thaxteds restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!
