Gorgeous caravan and plenty of room for our family of 4 It was spotless on arrival

Fantastic location even tho it does not have any facilities what so ever but only a 3 min drive into town so wasnt a problem! You couldnt fault the caravan as very clean,WiFi, bath and shower. We was welcomed with a bottle of fizz which I thought was lovely touch. Very quiet location which suited us as we have had the holiday on parks with screaming kids even tho we have a 10 year old daughter, she loved it and Perranporth is stunning and will be back. Thank you again

My family and I have just spent a week at Perran Heights holiday park and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The holiday home we stayed in was very clean and well equipped. We didnt pay extra for outside space and we were surprised to find we had a small private decking area with a table and chairs which was nice, Especially as we have two young children (7 months and 5 years) The site itself doesnt have any shop however other local shops are only a short car ride away. The holiday park provided us with a folder with all the local stores/attractions and other useful info in. During our week we visited beaches, Pendennis Castle, Cornwall Gold, Tintagel castle island and Hidden Valley and more, so the location of the park is perfect for families with a car. As much as we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Perran Heights there was two things which we werent so happy about. One being the oven - I know when you go on holiday you like to eat out but with two small children we also had to cook a lot in the holiday home. The oven was gas and it did not cook well. We even tried cooking on higher temperatures to what the instructions recommended but it wasnt enough, we had to throw our food away one evening because the cooker was just unable to cook it properly. The other issue was we asked for a travel cot which we got, and the cot itself was fine but there was no cot sheet provided and we had to improvise wrapping a adult size bed sheet around the cot mattress tucking it under. I was worried if my baby rolled over onto her front during the night the sheet may not have been breathable and If she pulled it up there would be too much excess sheet in the cot with her. Luckily she didnt move around too much and I kept regular checks on her but proper fitted cot sheets are definitely something the park should look into. Overall we was happy with our stay and we would recommend it.

We recently returned for a peaceful escape and again, Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure everything's just right. The place is so cosy, it feels like a home away from home! Definitely returning soon.

We loved this charming little cottage, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Its tucked away enough to feel private but still near local shops and eateries. The hot tub and underfloor heating in the bathroom made it extra special. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie are lovely hosts-well be back soon!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The place is spotlessly clean, with a warm, well-heated interior that feels really welcoming. The shower is powerful and the bed super comfy - perfect for relaxing after exploring. Parking right next to the cottage is a real bonus, especially when heading out for walks to Thaxted and beyond. Truly a charming spot!

We had a really lovely stay at this place. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The owners were super friendly and always happy to help if needed, but they kept that nice sense of privacy which we appreciated. The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day! One thing to note is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so there is quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be worth considering if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great spot!

The location was perfect - plenty of walks and trips to nearby villages like Thaxted. Definitely recharged our batteries after a busy week. All in all, a relaxing break well remember! Would happily return.

We needed a relaxing getaway with the dog and this place delivered. Lovely countryside, plenty of off-road walks and nearby pubs. The house was cosy and clean. The dog really didnt want to leave, honestly!

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage had everything we could think of and the hosts really made us feel at home. Being on a farm, its surprisingly peaceful - a real good place!

From the moment we arrived, Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome in this beautifully restored historic building. The effort they've put into preserving its charm really shows. Goddard's Mead offers everything for a truly relaxing stay and the location is perfect for exploring Essexs lovely villages and towns like Thaxted. We loved wandering around and soaking in the history. Definitely recommend if you want a cosy and interesting place to stay!
