Really enjoyed our stay here! The location is fantastic, especially being so close to the beach and lighthouse. Plenty to do both on and off-site. Such a lovely holiday park, can’t wait to come back!

The beds were a bit tight, but that’s pretty normal for a caravan, so no surprises really.

We found this place perfect for couples and walkers, but it’s also a family-friendly spot, so kids are definitely part of the mix. If you want a quieter dinner, just steer clear of peak hours. Overall, we’d say it’s a place worth recommending!

We found the caravan to be quite cosy, though definitely on the smaller side, which was expected since it’s listed as small on the website. The two bedrooms and bathroom are really quite compact, so you need to sidestep in some spots just to get around. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking but didn’t offer much workspace, which could get a bit tricky if you’re preparing a big meal. When we arrived, the heating wasn’t working and it took a bit of searching to find the controls - even the staff struggled at first! Luckily, a supervisor came quickly, located the controls and sorted out the gas supply, so all was fine after that. The fridge was tiny too - we had to remove a salad tray and a shelf just to fit the milk. On the bright side, the main sofa and bed were super comfy and the shower was honestly the best part of the place!

The caravan was okay, but it’s starting to show its age. We had to give the walls a scrub and clean the radiator in the shower room.

Overall, we really liked the caravan. It’s well-equipped with double glazing and central heating, making it comfy. The only downside is the limited kitchen storage, which means we end up doing bigger supermarket runs than expected. Could be better!

The caravan was lovely overall, but we did struggle with the water pressure cutting out sometimes. Also, the park Wi-Fi barely worked inside the van, which was a bit annoying.

We picked Whitley Bay mainly because it’s a great spot for our kind of days out and honestly, it did not let us down. From the moment we got there, we knew we’d made the right call. The welcome was warm and the staff genuinely friendly - nothing felt forced. We had a few chats with them during our stay and they were always quick to respond and super professional. One staff member even helped us outside the park when we were trying to figure out the bus timetable, which was really kind. Definitely a place we’d visit again!

The lodge itself was really lovely and the setting was just stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful the whole time. Honestly, I wish it wasn’t work-related-would have loved to explore more, like swimming and stuff.

The caravan felt a bit cosy, especially around the beds, but the living space was generous. We did notice a lack of coat hooks and hooks in the bathroom, which would’ve been handy. The fire didn’t work well, but the heaters warmed the bedrooms quickly. Not bad overall!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is perfect for easy access to the beach and the staff were genuinely friendly throughout. The manager especially went out of their way to help us with the app issue. Great experience overall!

Had a fantastic holiday with 2 grandkids. Kids liked running about the park but especially the pool where they enjoyed the water walking and the inflatable. Staff were very polite and friendly especially Becca and Alexa. Alexa the pool manager was fantastic with the kids explaining what to do when using the equipment and remembering their names and having a laugh with us. She's a credit to the company, definitely in the right job.

3rd time staying at this park. We have two kids 2 & 6. Staff are friendly and helpful. Park is close to the beach or short drive to further along the coast. Wee park in the caravan park which is better than most. Pool is good size as well. Overall we always have a blast and love the local area. No doubt we will be back for a 4th time!
Jack
Great park with decent facilities. Bus stop right outside for easy access into town.

this is our second visit to whitley bay, first time we had no issues, we find the site very clean and tidy and used the site as a base for daily visits to nearby places, so no comments on the facilities provided. We had a great holiday and the weather helped for a change but our only gripe is the surrounding road (NOT THE SITES FAULT), due to the caravan being on the edge of the site, we found that Whitley Bay is plagued with "racer boys/girls" who seem to think it's a race track frequently up till the late hours and occasionally the small hours, and we were woken up daily in the small hours to the sound of bike/car exhausts "popping and banging" and even one that decided to wheelspin his/her car from the entrance to the top of the road (probably 100yds). So based on the possibility of caravan position happening again, we will be more aware of the surroundings of our next holiday. Average scoring on the restaurant due to our not using it and no where to leave comments on that fact.

Fantastic area to explore. Site is small but has all you need. Coastline and scenery is stunning.
