We booked a place that didn’t allow pets and got one that did. Not happy.

We stayed in the area and honestly, the parking was a nightmare and the noise late at night was really off-putting, though the location itself wasn’t their fault at all.

The caravan was spotless, which was great, but the site itself is a bit dull, with pretty repetitive entertainment. Sadly, there was a strong weed smell all around. Also, breakfast staff was rude and the food was cold. Not great.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The park was just the right size, so it wasn't crowded at all. The caravan was lovely, though the sitting area was a bit tight and the sofa wasn’t the most comfy - some cushions might fix that. Kitchen stuff was pretty much all there, but we did need oven gloves and ended up using a tea towel. The only small gripe is the caravans are quite close together; a bit more space would be nicer so you're not constantly aware of your neighbours!

While caravan holidays can be a bit pricey, we honestly had a great time and definitely plan to return. It was totally worth it in the end.

We had a lovely stay, staff were friendly and the place was perfect for us.

We found the caravan surprisingly snug, especially since it’s meant for 8 but only comfortably fit 4 of us. Glad no one else showed up because space was tight! Also, some areas were not as clean as we’d hoped, which was a bit disappointing.

We really enjoyed exploring the area! Walking over to St Mary’s Island at low tide was lovely and Holywell Dene made for a peaceful stroll. The trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses was fantastic and Hadrian’s Wall walk from The Sill was definitely a highlight. Great sights all around!

The beds were quite narrow, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for caravan stays these days.

We had a lovely stay. The lodge was spacious and perfect for our family, with a nice balcony to relax on. A few cushions for the outdoor seats would've been the cherry on top, but it didn’t ruin our experience. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely time here! The spot is perfect for hitting the beach and everyone was super friendly, especially the manager who sorted out our issue with the restaurant app quickly. Would definitely come back.

Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was spotless, modern and surprisingly spacious despite being compact. Will definitely be booking again next time we visit.

Looking forward to our return! The place was lovely and we definitely want to come back again. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was just right. It’s rare to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes, but this place did. We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again soon. Highly recommend for a relaxed weekend getaway or just a nice escape from the usual routine. Thanks for a lovely experience!

The lodge was truly stunning, surrounded by such peaceful scenery. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful every step of the way. Only downside was that our trip was work-related, so we didn’t get to enjoy more activities, like swimming.

We think adding hooks inside bathroom doors for towels would be really handy. Also, some hooks outside the boiler cupboard to hang coats when we arrive would be great! Definitely useful.

We’ve just been back from Whitley Bay Holiday Park and honestly, it’s such a lovely spot for families. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, making everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is spot on, close enough to the beach but still quiet enough to relax. We didn’t find a single fault with the site or the facilities, which is rare. It’s actually our second visit and we’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Had a fantastic holiday with 2 grandkids. Kids liked running about the park but especially the pool where they enjoyed the water walking and the inflatable. Staff were very polite and friendly especially Becca and Alexa. Alexa the pool manager was fantastic with the kids explaining what to do when using the equipment and remembering their names and having a laugh with us. She's a credit to the company, definitely in the right job.

3rd time staying at this park. We have two kids 2 & 6. Staff are friendly and helpful. Park is close to the beach or short drive to further along the coast. Wee park in the caravan park which is better than most. Pool is good size as well. Overall we always have a blast and love the local area. No doubt we will be back for a 4th time!
Jack
Great park with decent facilities. Bus stop right outside for easy access into town.

this is our second visit to whitley bay, first time we had no issues, we find the site very clean and tidy and used the site as a base for daily visits to nearby places, so no comments on the facilities provided. We had a great holiday and the weather helped for a change but our only gripe is the surrounding road (NOT THE SITES FAULT), due to the caravan being on the edge of the site, we found that Whitley Bay is plagued with "racer boys/girls" who seem to think it's a race track frequently up till the late hours and occasionally the small hours, and we were woken up daily in the small hours to the sound of bike/car exhausts "popping and banging" and even one that decided to wheelspin his/her car from the entrance to the top of the road (probably 100yds). So based on the possibility of caravan position happening again, we will be more aware of the surroundings of our next holiday. Average scoring on the restaurant due to our not using it and no where to leave comments on that fact.

Fantastic area to explore. Site is small but has all you need. Coastline and scenery is stunning.
