The kestral VIP cabin is clean and warm and the hot tub was brill, the views of the countryside are fantastic and the bar and restraunt are very good. Thank you penrhos park for a amazing holiday

The Lodge is very comfortable but could do extra furniture on the decking

Only slight negative was poor Wi-Fi and TV signal in the caravan. This didnt bother us but may do for some families with teenagers perhaps.

We were particularly pleased to find that there was a small en suite attached to the main bedroom which was extremely useful.

Okay needs better internet and tv interface clean tidy caravan even took a fire stick for better tv program but want work because of signal need to improve this

Everything was perfect, lovely cabin.

The lodge was so lovely. Evening was clean and had the amount of things needed. The hot tub was fab and someone came to check it everyday so we were able to discuss any issues or instructions with them. The beds were comfy and the WiFi helps so much. We loved having access to Netflix and prime on the tv and could have a movie night. Loads of storage. Fantastic

Pleasant caravan with amenities which you would expect. Could do with a mop/ hoover in the cleaning cupboard though.

Facilities were very good with the exception of the WiFi and internet connection, which were poor.

Poorly maintained property

Just a couple of negatives. The toaster wss broken. And the cushions on the dining table & seating areas were a little bit grubby. Otherwise the caravan was fairly standard by todays examples

We thought kestrel 3 was fab

Everything was nice, so clean. Perhaps a few more crockery items would be a good idea as the dishwasher took a while to fill up.

Every kitchen utensil was there including separate under counter fridge and freezer so loads of room for groceries. Large TV and comfortable sofa, even the WiFi was pretty good ( for this area )

Couldn't fault it

Loved our caravan, only thing I would say is watch the carpet joining strips, there were sharpe areas on the strip where it didnt meet! Also housekeeping - main window was definitely not cleaned, full of hand prints and maybe dog licks! And we had 2 info folders, from last year and this? Great size, plenty of storage and perfect for us though.

Fabulous surroundings and accomodation

We always stay in the cabins are the top of the site, beautiful and cosy with fantastic large hot tub to enjoy.We did feel that our recent stay at the cabin it looked a bit run down sadly! The outer fittings ie fencing etc were becoming very loose and worn just needs a little tlc to get it back to life. Beds are a bit firm for me but nothing to complain about, facilities indoors are great but again a little run down. Definitely does not put us off coming in future as we really do love the location and atmosphere here but possibly would try caravan next time ??

Nice caravan in a fantastic location on site a bit let down by the bed and to a lesser extent the seating.

Amazing to have Ozzi, a male Osprey, looking over us everyday, sitting in a tree opposite our lodge, whilst Red Kites swooped around us at virtually ground level, every dayThe facilities and restaurant, at the Park, were outstanding.Although we don't play golf, it was great to see play in action in this most delightful setting

Really glad we chose this place!

Really lovely few days staying In Merlin 1, which was a wonderful lodge, had everything we could have needed. Staff were helpful, had issue with heating and maintenance came over and fixed within 10minutes, couldnt fault them. If anything would be nice to have a few amenities such as shop, but was 15 minute drive into supermarkets and local shop not too far though didnt use so not sure what they sold. Clubhouse is good, small arcade, gym equipment and pool. Which was busy but expected over holidays. Food in the clubhouse was delicious, extremely attentive staff the food was exceptional. Lovely few days away, would come back, area nice few things to keep occupied for a relaxing break.

No idea what was premier about this caravan It looked to only be a year old the mattress in the main bedroom was very poor quality and the bed linen was certainly not premier it is very different from the pictures Hoseasons post online Yes this is on a golf resort but the staff on the reception were not very welcoming got the impression that they did not want to promote any of the facilities on site especially the pool can understand having time slots but got the impression they were very regimented

We had a really lovely time staying here. Sharon and Robert were fantastic hosts, making us feel so welcome from the start. The place had everything we needed - clean, comfy and secure for our dog Archie, which was a big plus. The location was perfect with loads of nice walks nearby and exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages was such a treat. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed!

The caravan was ok, some of the handles were loose and it was not as well maintained as other parks we have stayed in. The park advertised as having WiFi available however this was not accessible in our caravan and when I spoke to multiple members of the staff team about this, nobody appeared interested in resolving the issue. This would not have been such an issue had there been mobile signal but this was not available on park either. The only positive I had was the food on site as this was lovely. Its a shame the other issues were not resolved or even appreciated as an issue, as we will be visiting the area a lot over the next few years and could have been repeat customers.

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was spotlessly clean and really well stocked with everything we needed. Our dog loved the nearby walks and meeting Penelope the pig was a real highlight. The host was super friendly and quick to reply. Honestly, its great value and were already planning our next trip. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable from the beds to the sofa. Bathrooms were clean and the wet room perfect for accessibility needs. The Lodge was simply perfect

We had an enjoyable week in the caravan and the location was perfect for exploring Aberaeron, Llanbed and Aberystwyth. The place felt really cosy and comfy, which we appreciated after long days out. However, we did have to clean all the cutlery and dishes when we arrived because they were dirty and the cupboards werent very tidy. Also, we had to buy a shaver adapter since there was no plug for shaving. It wouldve been nice to have pillow, mattress and duvet protectors, especially with all the COVID stuff. Still, beds were comfy. Diolch!

This place is such a good place! The hot tub was a real treat after a long day and the peaceful vibe is just what we needed. The hosts were lovely and made us feel really welcome. Perfect for a quiet getaway!

Park was lovely and quiet exactly what we wanted. Pool was great and lady at reception really helpful.

Penrhos is a caravan park on a golf course, which made for beautiful green surroundings. The location is lovely, staff all really helpful and welcoming.
There is no WiFi at all, so leave those devices and have a break.
Shops, takeaways etc. are about twenty minutes away so ensure you have enough provisions for your first night before venturing out. We never ate at the restaurant but the gin was fantastic and staff were so lovely and helpful. My children enjoyed the pool most days as well, there is a jacuzzi as well.
We all really enjoyed Penrhos and would visit again.

We had a lovely time at Penrhos. The caravan was clean, the pool was brilliant and the food was really good quality. The park was quiet and tucked away and there is a lovely walk down to the beach and village of llanrhystud. The children’s play park is geared for very young children and could do with children's swings and perhaps a climbing frame for the 4-10 year old age groups. The Wi-Fi is poor and a bit of a let down but overall a lovely holiday and we would definately come again

Another amazing stay at Penrhos. Loved the new lodges interior and addition of WiFi to the lodges was a bonus for the kids.

We had a lovely week at Penrhos Park, staying in Kestrel 1. Weather was fantastic all week so we didn't really use the onsite facilities. The lodge gets the sun all day out the front from dawn til dusk with beautiful views of the Welsh hills. The location was just right for us - 5 mins drive to a lovely little pebble beach, perfect for paddle boarding and catching small waves. Aberystwyth is 20 mins away with all the shops you could need and Aberaeron is 10 mins with it's lovely restaurants and fish and chips!

The lodge was clean, spacious and comfortable with a TV in the lounge and master bedroom, hot tub was lovely. Double bed comfy, singles not so. Kitchen could use basic items like a baking tray and oven gloves.

All staff were really friendly but restaurant service was a bit disappointing. There's a new take-away menu on the website but when we tried to order we were told only pizza was available. The pizza was okay, nothing special, we felt it was a bit overpriced. Tried to get lunch on the terrace one day and was told they were only doing rolls and a bag of crisps - we went elsewhere.

All in all a fab holiday and somewhere we would come again, a few simple tweaks would make it perfect!

Excellent park with great swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna. The accommodation was lovely and clean. Highly recommended.

Limited activities for young kids/teens as no children's clubs or evening entertainment.

For a family wanting a quiet location with great facilities and great staff, look no further. The park is very quiet and you have free access to the swimming pool and gym. The restaurant is small but the food was fantastic. Be aware that you have to drive most places for attractions etc though. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful resort so peaceful central to all beaches in the west wales area and totally child friendly. Lodge was superb 5 ?????
