The kestral VIP cabin is clean and warm and the hot tub was brill, the views of the countryside are fantastic and the bar and restraunt are very good. Thank you penrhos park for a amazing holiday

Honestly, our stay wasn’t great. The caravan itself was okay, but some handles were a bit loose and it definitely didn’t seem as well looked after as other parks we’ve been to. The WiFi promise was pretty much useless-we couldn’t get any signal in the caravan at all. Tried chatting to a few staff members about it, but honestly, they didn’t seem that bothered or interested in fixing the problem. It’s a shame because if we’d had decent WiFi or mobile reception, it might’ve been a different story. The only thing we really enjoyed was the food on site; it was really lovely. Such a shame the rest of the place didn’t seem to care much about fixing common issues, especially since we’re planning to visit the area a lot over the next few years. Would’ve been nice to be made to feel more welcome!

We found the beds and sofa incredibly comfy and the wet room's accessibility was spot on. Overall, the Lodge truly felt like a home away from home!

We've been coming here for two years now and honestly, apart from the sofa looking a bit tired, everything else has been great. Highly recommend!

Great stay, cosy cabin, would come again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The living area was spacious enough for all six of us to relax comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed, including washing up liquid and a cloth. The third bedroom was a bit small, but the main double was perfect. Everything was spotless and new, especially the shower-amazing! Definitely recommend.

Cozy place, would stay again

It was really disappointing. We booked mainly to play golf, but the 9-hole course was closed and my wife’s health issues meant we couldn’t enjoy the main course either. Not what we expected at all.

We had a lovely family break in a great spot. Sian, the owner, was super helpful throughout. We've stayed here several times and plan to come back!

We had a fantastic time here! The kids loved it and my husb and and I thought it was perfect for our Christmas getaway. The location really added to the festive spirit. Definitely a place we’ll visit again, can’t recommend enough!

We arrived to find the facilities closed, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, we did enjoy our stay overall. Fingers crossed they sort out the boiler issues in Kestrel 1 soon! The cleaning wasn’t great-lots of cobwebs everywhere. Also, the lodges have different bins for rubbish, which was handy for waste separation.

Penrhos is a caravan park on a golf course, which made for beautiful green surroundings. The location is lovely, staff all really helpful and welcoming. There is no WiFi at all, so leave those devices and have a break. Shops, takeaways etc. are about twenty minutes away so ensure you have enough provisions for your first night before venturing out. We never ate at the restaurant but the gin was fantastic and staff were so lovely and helpful. My children enjoyed the pool most days as well, there is a jacuzzi as well. We all really enjoyed Penrhos and would visit again.

We had a lovely time at Penrhos. The caravan was clean, the pool was brilliant and the food was really good quality. The park was quiet and tucked away and there is a lovely walk down to the beach and village of llanrhystud. The children’s play park is geared for very young children and could do with children's swings and perhaps a climbing frame for the 4-10 year old age groups. The Wi-Fi is poor and a bit of a let down but overall a lovely holiday and we would definately come again

Another amazing stay at Penrhos. Loved the new lodges interior and addition of WiFi to the lodges was a bonus for the kids. Will be back again

We had a lovely week at Penrhos Park, staying in Kestrel 1. Weather was fantastic all week so we didn't really use the onsite facilities. The lodge gets the sun all day out the front from dawn til dusk with beautiful views of the Welsh hills. The location was just right for us - 5 mins drive to a lovely little pebble beach, perfect for paddle boarding and catching small waves. Aberystwyth is 20 mins away with all the shops you could need and Aberaeron is 10 mins with it's lovely restaurants and fish and chips! The lodge was clean, spacious and comfortable with a TV in the lounge and master bedroom, hot tub was lovely. Double bed comfy, singles not so. Kitchen could use basic items like a baking tray and oven gloves. All staff were really friendly but restaurant service was a bit disappointing. There's a new take-away menu on the website but when we tried to order we were told only pizza was available. The pizza was okay, nothing special, we felt it was a bit overpriced. Tried to get lunch on the terrace one day and was told they were only doing rolls and a bag of crisps - we went elsewhere. All in all a fab holiday and somewhere we would come again, a few simple tweaks would make it perfect!

Excellent park with great swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna. The accommodation was lovely and clean. Highly recommended. Limited activities for young kids/teens as no children's clubs or evening entertainment.

For a family wanting a quiet location with great facilities and great staff, look no further. The park is very quiet and you have free access to the swimming pool and gym. The restaurant is small but the food was fantastic. Be aware that you have to drive most places for attractions etc though. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful resort so peaceful central to all beaches in the west wales area and totally child friendly. Lodge was superb 5 ?????
