I would not stay at this holiday park again not a lot on site for the children entertainment poor food very poor

Lovely caravan can't fault apart from WiFi not working or being included

There were a number of issues with the caravan but they were not all rectified. No welcome pack, no instructions for central heating that was off. Limited kitchen utensils but more were given. There was a big crack in basin in bathroom. The towel rail kept falling off but not rectified even when reported. The cover was hanging off the smoke alarm then on the last day when we looked at it it had no batteries which I then reported as I did the need for new batteries in the tv remote but this was never rectified. Also getting in and out of the park was a problem as our car reg was never recognised so needed the code to get in and out. Lastly we had 2 meals at the restaurant the chicken meal was fine but we ordered 2 sticky toffee puddings that cost £6.95 with custard which tasted horrible so was given a full refund. Would not return to the park.

Really friendly staff nothing to much trouble

The park could do with things to do inside for kids and adults for when it rains eg amusements, soft play. The caravan was lovely but I'm glad we took everything with us as nothing was provided except bedding. The only negatives was the grill pan hadn't been cleaned and there were dishes left in the dishwasher from previous customers.

Brilliant holiday at riverside the staff are absolutely amazing! The site is brilliant for kids.

Lovely park! Really friendly staff, only one member was super rude. I think he was the manager. No patience and asked to exchange a toy we bought from the bar which did not work within minutes of buying was very patronising. apart from that was a great place. Accommodation was perfect for us as a base we stayed in one of Hives.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in a glamping pod . It was clean and had everything we needed . The staff in the bar were absolutely wonderful and the ladies serving the food were marvellous . The only gripe was that my 16 year old son wasn’t able to use the gym.

Overall it was a good break away. Southport is fantastic. The caravan site was perfectly located. Lots of friendly people.

We decided on 7/10 for the hive because the steps seemed a bit unsafe with a loose hand rail.Also no gate on the veranda,so had to keep my dogs on the lead with the doors open.

Overall great place for a peaceful caravan break with family, a baby & dog with good facilities, a pleasant entertainment programme & entertainers and good location for visiting local beaches by car

Excellent super clean caravan looked brand new to me cannot fault it at all

Paid for a Platinum Plus 2 caravan, site documents indicates allocated one. We were not.

Limited cooking facilities in the kitchen eg pots pans and utensils.

Great time, we loved it.

Due to the time of year we had our stay. The pool, restaurant and entertainment were not accessible

Not much for kids to do at all, no night entertainment was an empty bar no music or nothing, food tasted like plastic and was an hour wait, was only 2 baby chairs and both were being used which resulted in our little one unable to eat,

It was a great weekend, never used the restaurant as thought the menu was limited.

The Caravan exceeded our expectations.

We spent more time out of the site.

Loved this caravan as so comfy & had everything we needed for a weekend away.

No entertainment on site and for the size of park not a lot to do cafe not open till10 am but caravan very good but again no cleaning equipment or toilet rolls provided

Very pleased with my stay

Absolutely fantastic inside the accommodation, area immediately surrounding the caravan could do with a little TLC it looked bare compared to others I.e no flowers only weeds. It would be great If there was decking around the caravan as it would have made sitting outside more enjoyable.

Will highly recommend. Definitely going back again, possibly looking to purchase a home.

Great holiday just a shame about the club house

Had a good holiday plenty on site for kids

We stayed from 18-25 of July Reception staff are lovely and so helpful both at gym and the bar and restaurant. Wee shop is handy for boys you have forgotten to take. Our caravan was lovely and clean and had all the essential utensils we needed. So much to do in area we went to hesketh park and enjoyed folks in the park. Ainsde beach is 13 mins away. Went to Vue to cinema and it’s 4.99 for a movie which is cheap if your having to buy for a big family. We definitely go back ??

loved the 3 bedroom van, it was very new, well equipped and clean. Our grandchildren liked the pool and football area. The food in the pub was excellent. It was a good base for visiting southport. I would use it again and recommend it to friends.

I lovely holiday park in a great location. The caravan was spotlessly clean and a good size. Every member of staff we spoke to was polite and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely caravan park because of the hot weather our caravan was not ready for 4oclock so they upgraded us to a much nicer caravan so this made our holiday even more special thank you Riverside caravan park
