Clean, and well presented with well equipped kitchen including dishwasher.

The table was wonky and squeaked every time we used it.2 doors didn't even shut and the bed was awful, sinking in the middle and I don't think it was a full sized double.

The hideaway accommodation was very clean and had an amazing view. The kids loved the mezzanine style sleep area. The accommodation is quite compact but there is everything you need.

A lot of things were patched up and caravan was dated ,we had problems with the internet , every thing worked ok .

Great site - lovely position with fantastic views. Chalet was great - very clean…. Went with dogs and were right on the coastal park so amazing walks. No kids so didn’t use all the facilities but the pool looked great and there was always a lifeguard. Very helpful staff. Would definitely go again.

Just back from our annual caravan holiday. This year we stayed at Sandaway Beach in Combe Martin. We were in a Platinum Lodge with hot tub. Amazing view of the sea & in a great, quiet location. Probably the best bit about our stay. A smaller park compared to some places we have stayed before. Limited amusements & play area. Also the shop & restaurant had limited opening hours. Not sure if this is because it was deemed 'out of season' but it was the 2nd week of July.Disappointing pool area. No shade & not very many sunbeds for lounging. Opted for the hot tub instead, but again, was disappointed that it wasn't maintained daily. The lid was broken, which meant it was open for debris to accumulate.Cleanliness was OK. Could have been better in some areas. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a nice location.

Great views, dirty caravan

Upon arrival, we were greeted by really helpful staff, which gave a great first impression. The holiday park itself was clean, tidy, and set in a stunning location – the views were absolutely gorgeous!We chose a silver caravan this time, having stayed in one before and enjoyed the extra comfort, space, and modern feel it typically offers. Unfortunately, this particular unit fell short of expectations. As soon as we stepped inside, we noticed a musty smell and the overall condition felt outdated and cramped. There were several signs of wear and tear – rusty radiators, peeling laminate on the table, water not draining in shower and a general lack of upkeep. It definitely didn’t match the photos online.That said, we were only staying for two nights, so we didn’t let it ruin our experience. Despite the caravan’s condition, we still had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s just worth noting that the interiors of the silver caravans do not reflect the standard you see on the pictures online. We did see other caravans on site that looked much nicer – likely from a higher tier – so we’d definitely consider upgrading next time.One of the highlights of the stay was the private cove. It’s a steep walk, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, but if you can manage it, it’s absolutely worth it – the views and sunsets were stunning.While there’s nothing within walking distance, the park is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. We took short drives and visited Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Lynton & Lynmouth – all beautiful places that we’d highly recommend.Overall, we had a lovely time and made the most of our stay. If we return, we’ll definitely opt for a higher-tier caravan to ensure a more comfortable experience.

The owners were super friendly and helpful, especially when the storm knocked out the power. The place was spotless and cosy, with a lovely warm atmosphere. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we enjoyed the hot tub too!

We had a fantastic week at the cottage with our two tiny dachshunds. They loved exploring the village of Thaxted and making new friends with other dogs. The place itself is really charming - especially the hot tub, which was a real treat during the scorching weather; the cooled water was so relaxing! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. It was nice to see their horses being taken out daily and watching the planes land near Stansted added a bit of excitement. We’d definitely recommend Hide for a relaxing getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy little cottage! It’s tucked away on a working farm but feels totally private, which was perfect for us. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people - really friendly and welcoming. The place itself is super spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy and the garden was perfect for our dog, totally secluded and safe. We enjoyed exploring the walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy cottage! Honestly, we barely needed to bring anything because it’s so well equipped. The welcome pack was a nice touch, with all the info and menus sorted out perfectly. The owners, Sharon and Rob, were super quick to respond whenever we had questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was absolutely fantastic after a day out. Thanks for the thoughtful extras for us and our pups - really appreciated the little touches. Would definitely come back!

The holiday escape caravan was absolutely beautiful. The location is fantastic.You are half hour drive away from Woodcombe where the beaches are beautiful

Lovely park, excellent location. Only fault i have is that the back of the sofas need to be cleaned a bit better as there was an empty crisppacket and bits of food

Beautiful location, fab caravan exceptionally clean. Only negative comments are more seating required around pool & few more amusement machines for children. In you sister site there were far more amusements for children.

Stunning views, clean and comfortable accommodation. The pool was warm, food and drinks on site were reasonably priced.

Beautiful location , caravan clean and modern and only a short walk from the beach, mermaid cove and 10 mins to Combe Martin beach and town . Obviously a lot of hills but that’s Devon . Will definitely come back to this site
