We had a fantastic stay! The lodge truly felt like a home away from home with all the essentials. Only tiny thing is a small TV in one bedroom would be a bonus.

Chestnut Lodge felt really cosy and had a lovely view, plus the outdoor decking with furniture was a nice touch. The heating was easy to control and kept us warm, which is always a bonus. The place was well stocked with appliances like a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, even if we didn't use all of them. The only downside was the TV - it was a bit complicated and there weren’t clear instructions for basic channels like BBC and ITV. Still, overall, a great stay and we’d definitely return!

We spent a lovely weekend at Astbury, staying in one of their stunning on-site lodges. The location was just perfect, with the lodge sitting right beside a gentle waterfall - so peaceful and calming. Our lodge had a fantastic outdoor hot tub built into the decking, which was a real highlight. The privacy was well thought out, thanks to the glass railing and clever furniture placement, so we felt completely comfortable relaxing outside without feeling watched. Inside, the lodge was spotless and well-equipped, with all the essentials plus a little welcome pack - tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cookies and even some cleaning supplies like a sponge, dish soap, dishwasher tablets and bin bags. The bed was incredibly comfy and the overall living space was just lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful; they even checked us in early and answered our questions about hiring tennis equipment for the courts. Honestly, we had such a great time and can’t wait to return to Astbury soon. We’re excited to see how the site changes over the next few months. Thanks for making our anniversary so special - we truly loved it!

We loved the lodge! It’s spacious and really beautiful. The variety of board games, puzzles and Xbox kept the kids entertained. The only thing missing was some lighting around the jacuzzi area. Still, we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The shower was fantastic, definitely the best we've experienced and having a massive TV in the living room was a bonus. Lodge 26 was super private with its own parking. We’d love to come back in spring or summer for some relaxing evenings away from everything!

Overall, we had a lovely stay. The only downside was the main TV not working, which was a bit of a letdown.

We recently spent a long weekend in one of the lodges and while there were some hiccups, we overall enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, there had been a leak in the lodge, so we had to wait about half an hour for it to be sorted before we could get in, which was a bit of a pain. Once inside, we were quite impressed by the layout and how clean everything was. The master bedroom was really lovely, but the second twin room felt a bit cramped for two adults sharing - there really wasn’t much space to get ready comfortably, which was a shame. It’s more like the size of a bedroom in a caravan than a luxury lodge, as some others have mentioned. The lounge was comfy and spacious, perfect for relaxing and the hot tub outside was definitely a highlight. One thing we did find a bit disappointing was the lighting - it was quite harsh in the lounge and second bedroom and there weren’t any lamps or dimmers to soften the mood in the evenings. Also, there weren’t any waste bins in the rooms apart from the kitchen one, which seemed a bit odd. We also had a blocked shower that overflowed in the main bathroom, but we managed to unblock it ourselves - though we wouldn’t expect to have to do that. Still, it was a nice stay overall, just a few little things that could be improved. We’d visit again, but hope these issues are sorted out for future guests!

The lodge was really charming, but we missed having live TV - the Fire Stick isn’t quite the same. Also, no clear instructions on how to operate the heating, which was a bit frustrating. Luckily, the staff helped us out quickly.

We stayed at the lodge recently and it was a lovely quiet spot, perfect for relaxing. The outdoor area was really nice, especially with the good weather and the hot tub was spotlessly clean and a real treat. The lodge itself was a bit smaller than we expected, but still comfy enough for our stay. We did notice a few missing utensils which would’ve made BBQs easier and cupboard space was quite limited. There were some ongoing works nearby, but it didn’t bother us much. Overall, a cosy place with great scenery!

We stayed at The Sycamore Lodge and were a bit disappointed. The second bedroom is quite tiny compared to other Hoseason lodges we’ve been to, which makes it feel less like a proper luxury lodge. Some essentials you’d expect, like a hairdryer, soap, toiletries and coffee pods, were missing - and the pod selection was overwhelming, so we couldn't really bring our own. Also, no robes or plastic glasses for the hot tub, which we've had at other parks. On the bright side, the décor and cleanliness were really top-notch, but overall, it felt more like a fancy caravan than a true lodge.
