We travelled from the Isle of Lewis to stay here while visiting family. The caravan was really comfy and kept us warm, even when the weather was gloomy. Our dog enjoyed the walks, which was a big plus for us!

We had a decent stay overall and we might come back if we get a different caravan. It’d be great to have a clock and some hooks for coats - little things but useful. The laundrette on-site is handy, though honestly, having a washer/dryer in the van would be a game changer! Curious about visiting in winter to see if we’d still enjoy it. The park was nice, quiet, clean and the facilities worked well for the kids. Perfect spot for exploring by car.

We really enjoyed our stay; the park was perfect for a relaxed week. It wasn’t too crowded, which was great and felt safe for the kids. Though, can’t comment on normal times since everything was shut due to corona.

We had a lovely stay at this well-kept site nestled in the countryside. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. Our caravan was a spacious 3-bedroom pet-friendly unit and I must say, the beds were super comfy and all made up when we got there-such a nice touch! The van was heated with full gas central heating, which kept us cosy and there was plenty of hot water with towels provided, along with a tea towel and oven glove-thoughtful extras. We didn’t bother with the pool or gym, so I can’t comment on those, but the caravan itself was of surprisingly good quality, especially considering it’s pet-friendly. It’s a shame that restrictions meant we couldn’t enjoy background music or pool tables, but that’s understandable. The nearby town of Kilwinning is pretty forgettable, mainly just for quick shopping and the traffic noise from the busy road behind was a bit noticeable, especially on the second last row. Still, we enjoyed our stay overall!

We didn’t dine in, but the desserts we grabbed were absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly and polite, which made the experience even better. The highlight was definitely the caravan - honestly, it was the best part of our trip. We’d love to stay in that same one again because nothing else compares! Definitely recommend.

We had an excellent holiday and would definitely come back. The only downside was with a dog that sheds a lot-having a brush for the carpet isn’t ideal. A vacuum cleaner would have been much more useful, honestly.

It would’ve been great to have some extra cleaning tools like a small hoover or dustpan and brush. Also, we found some rubbish under the couch cushions, including a condom wrapper-bit of a surprise!

Overall, we had a decent stay. The bathroom floor being wet was a bit annoying, especially since there was nothing to dry it with. Probably a Covid thing, as they removed a lot of essentials like mops and cushions. Still, the caravan was comfortable enough for us.

We enjoyed a laid-back week at this park-nice and quiet, perfect for kids to play safely. Not sure what it’s usually like since everything was closed due to the coronavirus, but it was still lovely.

We travelled all the way from the Isle of Lewis to stay here, searching for a comfy base. The caravan was really lovely-warm, cosy and perfect for us. Our dog was well happy and even with the bad weather, we managed a few walks. Nice spot!

We had an absolutely lovely holiday and definitely plan to come back. The only thing that could be improved is cleaning the carpet, since we have a dog that sheds a lot. A vacuum would make things much easier than a brush.

We had a decent stay overall and it's likely we'd come back if we picked a different caravan next time. A few things would make it better, like having a clock and a place to hang coats. The onsite laundrette is handy, but honestly, a washer/dryer in the caravan would be a game-changer. It's a peaceful, tidy spot with decent facilities for kids and perfect for exploring around by car. Would be interesting to see how it feels in winter though!

The park's really nice, super easy to get to and kept tidy. Some staff and facilities could be better, but with a bit of effort, it’s got potential.

Claire
Lovely caravan park, small and friendly. Everything you need on site- bar, restaurant, swimming pool with sauna, launderette, shop, family room and amusements . Can't fault anything. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Everything very clean and site well kept. Caravan was spotless and so warm. My little dog was very happy also, lovely walk around the site but so close to the coast and Irvine Bay was beautiful. Had a lovely stay. Close to the train station and caught the train to Glasgow twice. Very easy travel, good service and free parking. Would definitely recommend and love to visit in the summer.
Kay
Lovely clean caravan with nice views. Quiet site which suited us. Within easy reach of places to visit by car.
