We had such a lovely time at the lakeside retreat! Staying in the spacious Willow Lodge really made our trip special. It’s got everything you could possibly need and the peaceful setting is just perfect for unwinding. We loved starting our mornings on the decking with coffee, watching the ducks and listening to the birds-it’s so calming. The bed was super comfy and the deluge shower was a real treat after a day out. The hot-tub was definitely a highlight, checked every morning around the same time, so we knew when to avoid splashing about. Sally was really helpful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. It’s clear the owners have put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a relaxing stay; we kept saying “that’s a lovely touch” when discovering little details. Only thing I’d suggest is updating the furniture a bit-it would make the place even more top-notch. Still, we loved it!

We’ve stayed at Willowi Lodge three times now and each visit just gets better. The place is spotless, though a few bits of furniture could use some updating. Everything we needed was there and the hot tub and sauna were a real highlight. Definitely coming back next year, can’t wait!

Even though the weather wasn't on our side, the lodge itself was just perfect for a relaxing break. We enjoyed breakfast out most mornings; Broken Egg Cafe near Harleston was lovely, but Cafeye in Eye might just have taken the top spot for us. The views from the castle ruins are stunning and a walk along Diss’s boardwalk was just what we needed. Really enjoyed it!

We stayed at this lodge recently and it’s really well designed with all the little extras that make a difference, like rechargeable torches by the doors and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The bed was super comfy - we slept like logs!

Honestly, the place is stunning and the location is just perfect - so peaceful and private, it really feels like your own little retreat. The bedroom was massive, with a view over the lake and the bed was super comfy. The kitchen was well-stocked and having a washer and dryer was a real bonus. The lounge was cosy, with a decent-sized TV, though we didn’t really use it much. Just loved waking up to that beautiful lake right outside the door - will definitely come back!

We’ve been coming to Weybread Lakes for years and love trying all the lodges. Larch is our favourite - it always impresses us with that ‘wow’ factor. Everything you need, plus some nice touches. Perfect stay!

We enjoyed fishing, even if the bites were a bit sparse, but it was still great fun. The weather was a bit miserable at first, but that didn’t spoil our stay. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

We stayed in one of the lodges and honestly, it was perfect! The privacy between the five lodges is great, so you don’t feel crowded at all. The bedroom had a really comfy bed and the bathroom was warm and refreshing after a day out. The kitchen and lounge were spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to relax. The hot tub was a highlight and we loved sitting in the indoor sunroom. Shame about the weather in October, but we bet a BBQ by the lake is amazing in summer. Would definitely recommend for couples!

Did not see any staff so can't give a true score to them, excellent lodges Bed was a bit hard for us so if you prefer a softer mattress take a topper, fishing was very good and the surroundings are very peaceful, would definitely go again

Lovely accommodation. Excellent facilities. Great location. The only downside is that no music can be played outside at all, ie. when in the hottub or using sun loungers. But to be fair, we didn't really miss it.

If you want a peaceful relaxing stress free holiday then this is the place to go!! The lodge was clean and very well equipped. The hot tub and sauna are well maintained and very private - loved it xx

Fantastic few days away in a quiet peaceful location. Carp fishing was good too! Lodges are absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend Heron lodge. If your looking for a peaceful location with great fishing then this is for you.

Wonderful simple booking in and out process coupled with a beautiful lodges and location

We stayed in the Kingfisher lodge and arrived immediately after getting married. Our lodge was just beautiful. We were after luxury and we definitely got it! We also ordered a Tesco delivery and the driver found us with ease. The weather was perfect too but even if it wasn’t it still would’ve been a great break away!

Second visit to Willow Lodge, which is our favourite, out of all the various lodges we have stayed at throughout the country. Well set out, very well appointed and great location on the lake. Some great restaurants in the area, and well positioned for exploring.

peaceful coupes retreat

We had a very peaceful short break and didn’t leave the lodge so the surrounding area didn’t matter. We had no reason to speak to the staff as they had left brilliant instructions for the facilities and everything was ready for us and in full working order. We don’t have a single complaint..

It’s been over 10 years since we last stayed at Weybread and were a little worried that things might not still be as good as we remembered but we shouldn’t have worried in fact the way the site has matured made it even more private and the wildlife more evident we had baby rabbits and a deer on our decking it was marvellous to see. Only thing missing was the fresh eggs
