A lovely little pod, well equipped. No duvet provided for the sofa bed luckily we did take our own.

Really nice

The pod overall was great. Clean and well presented with the basics to keep you going. The only thing it needed extra was more hooks etc to hang clothes and towels on. Perhaps an extra light could have been given to light up the picnic table. For the price we paid for a week in summer holidays, we couldnt moan at all!

Lots of open space to enjoy. Plenty of room in the Lodge. Lodge was clean and well equipped.

Clean and spacious and modern

Nice enough cabin with lovely deck with table and chairs. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom with bunk beds downstairs.Bathroom was downstairs which isn't ideal for getting up during the night.. Overall the inside was clean and well maintained. Windowsills and windows however dusty and dirty. Overall it was a pleasant stay but with a little more effort the lodges could be really good.

The only negative is no balcony on first floor apartment.

Excellent accommodation

Glamping in the Forest of Dean - a taste of tranquility, an active break to remember! From canoeing the river wye to cycling the sculpture trail and climbing above the trees at Go Ape. Whitemead Forest Park is close to all the action. Whether you are looking for a brisk walk in the woods or a leisurely swim in the warm pool. The facilities are faultless. Staff are friendly and helpful. Site is clean and spacious. Highly recommend for your next family getaway. Great for school holidays and spending quality time together. Enjoy!

Excellent accomodation

Log cabin was very nice clean and tidy very comftable.Hot tub was okay it needs a little updating crack and split on it worked but wasn't that hot when on lost heat to quickly when you were in hot tub Decking could have done with a long brush for the trees constantly falling onto the decking and trying not to but the bits into the hot tub

Very good very spacious accommodation

The log cabin is a perfect size for 4 and would comfortably fit 6 if needed. The hot tub was spotless and well maintained and such a treat to enjoy throughout our stay. Everything we needed was provided and the WiFi was incredible so the kids were happy ha ha ! We arrived to an incredibly clean and well arranged cabin all made up ready for us. The extra storage under the double bed was a huge help as it meant no tripping over suitcases and bags.

Chilled out, would do again

We had a lovely short stay here! The facilities were great, the park was clean and well-kept. Staff were super friendly and it’s close to loads of attractions. Everyone loved it!

Comfortable lodge in peaceful surroundings. Good level of cleanliness and fixtures all working well. Swimming pool not too busy in Easter holidays and our boys (7,4) enjoyed the evening entertainment. Would happily holiday here again.

Pod was great quipped for limited food cooking . Toaster and microwave with outside bbq area.

Great stay overall, loved the hot tub! Just wish the bed was a tad bigger.

We loved the cosy log cabins and the hot tub was a real treat. Just a bit of tidying up needed, but otherwise superb!

Nice, we’ll laid out park in a good location. Bar was handy and there was entertainment on for the kids. Ate in restaurant once but it was overpriced and not very nice. Plenty of nice pubs nearby though as alternatives

Great site and facilities, very helpful staff.

Lovely stay. Lots to do on-site. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and range of activities offered on a Saturday out of season. 9am check out seemed a bit unnecessary. Cuts a 2 night stay down to very much one day and feels much less value for money.

Enjoyed stay so much, we tried to extend it but sadly it was fully booked. Excellent leisure facilities - shame the 2nd Jacuzzi wasn't working as the functioning one got full in the evenings. Extensive menu and tasty food in the restaurant - loved the mocktails. The site was quiet and well maintained with lovely walks in the adjoining wood. It is well situated for the forest of Dean attractions, Welsh borders and even the Cotswolds. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was our 1st stay in this area and we hope to return very soon.

Absolutely first class. We visited with my elderly parents and the apartment was excellent. Large bedrooms, very clean and a lovely outlook. Staff at Whitemead are so, so helpful and friendly. A perfect 5 days, thank you
