A good place to be, easy to visit Snowdonia, the Lleyn peninsular and Anglesey. We found many places on our travels that were worth visiting, like the electric mountain at Llanberis, and the railway carriage dinery at betwys y coed...but the nicest place we visited was the old decrepid toll bridge on the Dollgellau road out of Barmouth - and the pub on the other side. It was great to while away a couple of hours eating alfresco and watching the world go by.
Carol, Whaley Bridge

Had a great week here in early May. The Caravan (100) was superbly clean and the water/ heating System was faultless.
Other than one great night of Entertainment there was Little Happening on the site, but probably due to being so early in the Holiday calander.
I would definitly book here again....Great!

Date of stay: 11th July 2016
The caravan was basic, as we expected so we packed what we needed. Grateful of the bedding. Very clean, with minimal crockery and cutlery but we managed.
Date of stay: 24th June 2016
Fab holiday, we stayed in number 28 right next to the beach...would go back in a heart beat..
Amanda, Wrexham
Date of stay: 20th June 2016
The caravan had lovely decking outside with outside furniture, the caravan was very large with a lovely double shower. The kitchen/dining & living area wasn't good size as were the bedrooms. I would stay at the caravan again but I think the owners who privately lease it to you need to wash the curtains and clean the carpet. Although smoking is not allowed in caravan I do think the owners used to smoke in it. There was quite a strong smell of stale smoke, I do not smoke so could smell it quite allot. It was especially strong in the bedroom where my daughter slept. I have passed this feedback onto the receptionist who was very apologetic and said he would pass my feedback on.
Julia, Godmanchester
Date of stay: 17th June 2016
Well laid out and comfortable. Slightly more bedroom space, if needed at the expense of some lounge area would be perfect.

Date of stay: 2nd May 2016
A clean, comfortable and spacious caravan - perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Luke, Walsall
Date of stay: 2nd May 2016
The caravan had everything we needed, though for the high price paid, I would have expected some additional / extra / personal touches and perhaps a higher level of cleanliness. It was worth staying in the caravan for the wonderful experience, but it will remain a one off event seen as the prices are much on the high spectrum...

Fantastic holiday venue close to all places we wanted to visit. Only criticism were the cigarette ends left under the caravan and around the site. We don't smoke. Maybe have cig bins?

The caravan was big enough for all of us nice having two toilets especially with young children. The Fridge had the milk tray missing but managed to balance the milk on the shelf was good having a freezer and a microwave.the caravan was well worth the money near the beach and the park and reception.
Lynn, Birmingham

Date of stay: 3rd July 2015
The staff where very friendly, level of cleanliness was very good. Basic accommodation but well stocked with glass's, forks, knives ect. Welcome pack was also great. would recommend and stop again. Could have benefited from small side table and cushions in lounge. Cooker and fridge needed attention, reported to site when handing keys back.
Corinne, Chester
Date of stay: 8th June 2015
Excellent. Only complaint - description should state that access to beach is difficult for anyone with walking difficulties and not easy to carry windbreaks, chairs, cool box etc over the pebbles/boulders that are there as sea defence. Good pub/cafe/bar type outlet on site would make it perfect.
John, Oldbury
Date of stay: 6th June 2015
A modern caravan with 2 bathrooms. Being the 12 foot wide model it was very spacious and the single beds were wider and so more comfortable for an adult.
Carl, Liverpool
Date of stay: 5th June 2015
Lovely clean caravan. Had everything we needed for the week.
Emma, Shropshire
Date of stay: 22nd May 2015
We were very impressed with the standard of our caravan - beautiful. I do think a little bit more effort could have been put in with the cleaning of it prior to our arrival though - the freezer was still full of food from previous guests, and obviously hadn't been checked!
Damon, Worcester
Date of stay: 18th May 2015
Liked the caravan

The only downside was the space round the beds. Not enough room for my parents to get round the double bed.

Amanda, Sandbach, Cheshire
Date of stay: 3rd November 2014
Only things that let the caravan down was the fact that the TV didn't have a dvd as advertised and we had to buy a new frying pan as the one in the van was losing its non stick coating but the van was very comfortable and clean.sand
Helen, Manchester
Date of stay: 31st October 2014

Really good holiday, we have booked again for next year, the site is loverly and the facilities around the site are good, pub, chip shop etc, and the beach is only a three minute walk.
Barbara, Great Yarmouth
Date of stay: 13th September 2014
We had good weather for the duration of our stay which "always" helps. But we really liked the location of the site and the beauty of the surrounding countryside. It was nice to lie in bed at night and hear the the sound of the sea comfortably close at hand.
Dion, Dudley
Date of stay: 6th September 2014
We have already booked up again for next year. We took our 5 yr old who enjoyed the play ground and the fact the beach is a five minutes walk. The site is lovely and very quiet at night. Also with barmouth 10 mins away you can shop fir what you want. 5+.
Richard, Irthlingborough
Date of stay: 6th September 2014
Great location and ideal for the beach and attractions. Barmouth Bay site itself was reasonably quiet and clean with some localised amenities, however the shops were in local villages, Barmouth and other sites in the area. Watching the Sunset from the beach over the hills of the Lln Peninsula, is well worth an evening stroll along the sands. Overall a great place to stay and visit and would happily return here in the future.
Stephen, Nantwich
Date of stay: 1st September 2014
Really well kept site with caravan and surrounding areas spotless. Easy walk to beach and short drive to Barmouth harbour. On site eating/drinking facilities disappointing everything "fast food" with chips. Good pubs offering inexpensive food for all the family within short distance of site. Great place to use as base camp to explore the coastline of North/West wales. We would certainly come again.
Confirmed Purchaser
Date of stay: 19th July 2014
Clean, well maintained, quiet (out of school holidays) caravan park right next to sea. Good for running (on beach or moorland to East), quiet swimming pool and plenty of walking nearby. A whole mass of caravan parks together in this spot, plus amusements etc, so it was nice out of school holidays but otherwise probably not a good location for a quiet break!
Date of stay: 12th July 2014
Awesome time loved every second of it staff were brilliant love it
Malcolm, Cambridgeshire
Date of stay: 28th June 2014
Fantastic location' very good staff ' our first time on this camp and hopefully be back again next year '
Geoff, Liverpool
Date of stay: 20th June 2014
very pleasant stay. perfect for what we wanted. quiet caravan park with lovely indoor poor. location right by the beach too. weather was great. only downside was the location of our caravan which was right on the junction of the 2 barriers at the entrance of the park. if it had been a busy time, we feel it may have been a bit noisy but luckily we had a quiet week out of school holiday time. we have a small baby, so we were glad it was quiet.
Cheryl, Warrington
Date of stay: 7th June 2014
This a nice site surrounded by lovely countryside and close to beach. The living area of the caravan was filthy, very stained carpet and the seating was torn and filthy. The rest of the caravan was clean beds and bedding spotless. I booked a value caravan as they allow a dog, the charge was £25, I understand the charge is for extra cleaning needed because of a dog they should clean this particular caravans living area.
David, Liverpool
Date of stay: 6th June 2014
Fabulous caravan. Simple things overlooked, like NO coat hangers at all, and no tin opener etc.
Liz, Coventry
Date of stay: 31st May 2014

Park accommodation and staff first class would recommend.
Great setting close to the beach, lovely for walking, great for kids lots for them to do.Very helpful and friendly staff.Caravans very clean.Short drive to Shell Island, although you have to pay £7.50 for the car park.Close to Portmadoc, you can also catch the train if you don't want to drive. We will definitely be returning.
Absolutely beautiful well run holiday park would highly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spacious and well equipped, although was missing the remote control for the TV, but when we asked a replacement was provided. The site was very nice with easy access to the beach and good on site facilities. We did have a little trouble pin pointing our caravan as there was no number on it! The swimming pool was lovely, we had it to ourselves twice!
Excellent would definitely return
Fantastic. Will return.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our 1st time in a caravan and it was really comfortable and immaculately clean. Definitely recommend this site.
We were very pleased with the quality and standard of our accommodation and loved the pool - we were always the only ones in it. Great family holiday, would come again
Absolutely brilliant park, helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful site right next to the beach. We went end of November so not much was open unfortunately but I'm sure peak times is a lot more lively.
Lovely staff & caravan. Had a wonderful time. May go back in January. Kindest regards
Always feel comfortable staying here
Fabulous part of the coast and a nice relaxing holiday.
