Set within 50 acres of parkland with an incredible 20 acres of lakes and lagoons, Bosworth Lakeside Lodges offers guests a diverse range of water and non water-based recreational activities and is an exceptional base from which to explore the many nearby leisure attractions, market towns and cultural landmarks.

Guests have exclusive access to all facilities on and off the water.

From challenging the family to a round of crazy golf, racing each other across the lake on paddleboards or canoes, taking a family ride on the pedalos, enjoying a spot of fishing or exploring the family play area, those seeking to make the most of their time on site will be spoiled for choice.

The lodge was really cosy and had all the essentials to make our stay easy and comfy. The furniture was lovely, it was spotless everywhere and everything functioned perfectly - a rare find these days!

The cabin was really spacious with a lovely layout and the bed was super comfy. The rooms felt cosy, which we loved. Only downside was the TV - it had limited channels - and the WiFi was pretty weak, so we had to rely on our data. Guess we weren't there for the telly anyway!

We had an amazing weekend stay here! The place totally met all our expectations and we’re already planning to come back. Our dogs had a blast - especially with the underfloor heating, they were cosy all weekend. Luna even wagged her tail so much she strained it! Definitely a hit for both pups and humans alike. We had such a lovely stay at this cosy cottage! The place was spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The dogs loved the nearby walks and meeting Penelope the pig was a real highlight. The host was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely a great find, we’ll be coming back for sure!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such warm and friendly people, making us feel right at home. The place itself is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn’t want to leave! The garden is perfect for dogs-completely dog-proof and with comfy furniture. There are plenty of lovely walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants like The Star and The Maypole are worth visiting. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was just what we needed. The place was spotless, cosy and perfect for Archie - he loved exploring the secure garden. The location couldn’t have been better, with plenty of walks and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Would happily come back for another break!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is really cosy - the hot tub was a real treat, especially during the hot weather when it was cooled down for a refreshing dip. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields every day. Being near Stansted's flight path was actually quite fun - watching the planes land was pretty cool. We’d definitely come back!

The big fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around in freely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and we even fired up the BBQ one evening. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight-especially with the scorching weather, it was so refreshing! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. It was also nice to see their horses being taken out daily. Yes, we're near Stansted’s flight path, but honestly, watching the planes was quite interesting. We’d definitely stay again!
