We had an amazing stay at the cottage! The location was perfect-serene and peaceful, surrounded by stunning farml and. The horses were a lovely bonus. The owners were super friendly and really helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a spot we'd return to for a quiet getaway!

We had an overall lovely stay at this cosy cottage. It’s quite tucked away on a working farm, so it feels really private, which we loved. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are super friendly and welcoming. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed-sleeping was a dream! The garden is perfect for dogs, completely secluded and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants like The Star and The Maypole are well worth a visit. We’d definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners are genuinely welcoming and really considerate, making us feel right at home. The place itself is beautifully kept, spotless and super cosy - the perfect spot to relax. The bathroom has a fantastic strong shower and the bed was so comfy. Parking right next to the cottage was a huge bonus and we enjoyed exploring the lovely walks around Thaxted. Definitely recommend!

The scenery around Gold Chalet is stunning, really perfect for relaxing. The clubhouse is tiny, probably better in summer when you might snag a seat. Brixham is just a short, pleasant walk away-about 15 minutes.

The place was spotlessly clean, super comfy and perfectly secure for our dog Archie, which was a big plus. We had a bit of a hiccup with the mattresses when we arrived, but the camp office sorted it out quickly. We had a fantastic stay at this cosy little cottage! It’s honestly kitted out with everything you could possibly need, so we didn’t have to pack much at all. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, packed with useful info and menus, which made settling in so easy. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just perfect after a day out. Sharon and Rob were so quick to respond to any questions, which we really appreciated. Definitely a lovely break, we’ll be back!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was really well kitted out and kept us cosy during the rainy December days. The bath was perfect after a long walk and the shower was great too. Being near the flight path didn’t bother us at all and it’s such a quiet spot-ideal for dogs scared of fireworks. Beautifully converted and really peaceful, we’d definitely come back. Thanks a lot!
