The lodge was fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. It even had a dishwasher and washing machine with a line and pegs, it's the little details and items you generally wouldn't think about

The accommodation is modern, clean and well presented. My lodge also had a hot tub, which was great to use after a day visiting the local area. The kitchen is well equipped but there is very little space to place anything you bring with you that doesn't go in the fridge. The bedroom and bathroom are nice rooms.

Real home from home in a lovely quiet rural location. Friendly and helpful staff who go that extra mile to ensure you have a memorable stay. Lodges are well equipped, excellent quality furniture, fittings and linen. Toiletries are provided which smell heavenly and are full sized bottles too none of these little sample bottles which you try to ration through your stay! Would highly recommend...

The lodge was brilliant. The furniture was comfortable, as was the best. The place was clean and tidy on arrival and the Apple Juice which was left, from a farm in the area was lovely and a great touch. The hot tub was great and was tested twice a day to ensure the water cleanliness was good, which is great to see happening.

Information from the proprietor’s pre arrival was first class, would highly recommend these lodges you will not be disappointed.

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was cosy and well looked after, with loads of great walks just outside. The host was super friendly and easy to get in touch with. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a highlight. Perfect for us and the doggos. Definitely coming back, such good value! Highly recommend.

The size is quite adequate for two people. Next time we might try one of the larger lodges with a little more space.

The lodge was great, plenty of space around the lodge and only 10 lodges in total at the farm which meant it really felt like you was away from everything. The beds were really comfortable and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The internet was really great too which was an added bonus for our son!

We had a lovely time during our stay! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and perfect for Archie with good security. The location was just right, with plenty of scenic walks and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, it was just what we needed to unwind and recharge our batteries. Definitely recommend!

We had a really lovely time at Berkley Elite Spa. The lodge was spotless and really modern, with a clever layout that made everything feel cosy yet spacious. It was warm and welcoming when we arrived, which was great after a long journey. The kitchen had all the appliances we could ask for, plus some handy complimentary bits and bobs and there were even board games for a bit of fun. The hot tub was spotless and set into the decking, making it super easy to get in and out without any fuss. The garden and hot tub area felt private, which we appreciated. The log fire had plenty of kindling and the WiFi and smart TV worked perfectly - rare in lodges, so that was a bonus. We’re already planning to come back and we’ve recommended it to friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Berkley Elite Spa was lovely. The lodge itself was spotless, modern and well planned out. Lovely and warm on arrival. You've got everything you need including complimentary items and even some board games. The hot tub was clean and set into the decking making it easier to get in and out of. All the appliances you could need. The rear garden area and hot tub are private which is always nicer. Plenty of kindling provided for the log fire. Smart TV and wifi for those that use it work perfectly which is normally not the case in lodges. Overall we were very impressed and have recommended it to others. Definitely somewhere we will return to. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Lisa
Peaceful location in the pretty Gloucestershire countryside. The lodge was well decorated, immaculately clean and everything worked as it should. Toiletries, bin bags, toilet roll and washing up equipment were provided along with tea towels. This is one of the best self catering lodges I have stayed in. There is one pub in reasonable walking distance where we had a good meal and this was a good base for us to visit Ross on Wye, WWT Slimbridge, Gloucester, Monmouth and Little Dean Jail.
Martyn
Perfectly situated to enjoy the Welsh Marches and Gloucestershire. Very comfortable lodge in an extremely quiet environment offering perfect and comfortable nights sleep.
R
An excellent place to stay, Sharon (The Wardon) was very helpful and professional. The lodge we stayed in was clean and of a high standard, I would book a lodge there again in the future, a perfect retreat overall.
Ian
Wow. One big chill out.
Craig
Great Lodge, in a very quiet and relaxing location. The lodge had everything we needed for our weekend away. The lodge was clean and tidy. We had a amazing weekend as a family and was perfectly located for us to visit all the places we planned to visit in the Cotswolds and surrounding area. Could not of asked for more!!
Georgina
Had great time, particularly loved hot tub.
Catherine
Sharon was a fantastic host, she could not have done more for us. The lodges were clean and fairly well equipped. The site was so peaceful and quiet. The cleaners were also fantastic. Can not speak too highly of the staff here. We will definitely be back.
Duncan
We had a fantastic stay at Ford Farm Lodges (we were in Kilcot Elite Spa 2, at the very end of the site). The lodge and site were immaculately kept. Sharon (the manager) and staff were all so friendly and helpful, with great suggestions on local walks and where to eat. The hot tub was excellent and much needed for aching joints after long walks! The nearest town, Newent, is two miles away and has a well-stocked Co-Op and Spar. The surrounding area is beautiful, with local walks straight from the lodge possible and the Malvern Hills, Wye Valley (visit Symonds Yat, it's a must!) and the heart of the Forest of Dean all only a few miles away. The only slight disappointment (and in no way related to the lodge owners) was the terrible state of parts of the local footpaths -- overgrown with nettles and/or brambles, broken styles and missing signs were all evident - some paths we simply had to give up on -- shame on the local councils for allowing this to happen! In contrast, the paths on and around the Malvern Hills and Wye valley were excellent. For eating out, we would recommend the Kilcot Inn (a 1 mile walk from the lodge), Alma Inn, Linton (a pleasant 2 mile walk from the lodge down very quiet country roads, also, walk back along ''The Ridge' for excellent views), The Kings Arms, Newent, and if you fancy excellent Nepalese food, 'The Roadhouse', Gorsley (a 1 1/2 mile walk from the lodge) We shall certainly be returning to this lodge site! Highly recommend :)
Katy
I have stayed in a lot of lodges and this one was by far the best. Immaculate inside and spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful went the Extra mile to help us settle in
Linda
A wonderful and enjoyable stay.Sharon was just so welcoming.Peace and tranquility in a comfortable, clean modern lodge.Thank you for being so kind and helpful to us (and the dog) making our stay " Just Perfect".
Robert
Spacious, clean lodge in a beautiful quiet location.
Drew
Had a fantastic time every think you need for a getaway
