Water’s Edge Leisure Park is an idyllic getaway retreat for couples and mature families seeking a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Perched on the edge of the Teifi river estuary with direct access straight onto a soft, sandy beach, the park is surrounded by panoramic views of Cardigan Bay and the Pembrokeshire National Park.

The park truly is a wildlife-watchers’ paradise, with an abundance of marine birds and wildlife to spot including dolphins, porpoises and seals.

For couples seeking an active break, the park is sited directly on the Welsh coastal path, and is in an ideal spot for paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing and kite surfing.

Teifi Boat Club sits right next door to the park with a thriving membership that warmly welcomes and encourages anyone to go along and see what it is all about.

The local town of Cardigan is just 1.5 miles away and is steeped in history.

Its unspoilt townscape and rich heritage provide a nostalgic backdrop to a thriving culture of arts and crafts, events and music festivals and is a good base from which to discover Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

The luxurious Cliff Spa hotel and the links course at Cardigan Golf Club are both within a mile of the park.

My only problem is that the bedrooms could have been larger. The twin beds are really only children sized, our problem was an adult having to sleep in one of them.

We enjoyed the Lodge but not confident it was the Birch, it had another name.Little things like toilet rolls, tea towel, dish cloth, oven glove tea and coffee to start us off were missing which should be basic standards. The electric tripped so many times and again we were warned of this by the reception.

We had fun and a fabulous time. The location was excellent. We have stayed at the site for many years, but the views never cease to amaze me.This year we were overlooking the sea and Poppit sands..wonderful . The bottom of the verandah steps was questionable, safety wise. (The corners of the bottom step? The space between the bottom step and the concrete slabs?)In fact one of our group ( we had booked two caravans) tripped and fell on to the concrete surface. Luckily she didnt fall against the picnic table).Perhaps you could look into this? Hopefully this is helpful.

Our stay started off on a high note when we got a call around 1 pm telling us our place was ready earlier than expected, even though check-in was officially at 4 pm. That little heads-up really set the tone for a relaxed holiday. The site manager was a gem-friendly, welcoming and full of helpful tips, which made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was quite comfortable, though we did think a slightly bigger TV would be a nice touch and the WiFi could be better, but apparently that’s just how the area is. We loved wandering down to Gwbert and Cliff Hotels-both served up tasty food and drinks in lovely settings. The Cliff also has a small golf course, which was a real highlight with its stunning views and fun 7 par 3s plus 2 par 4s. We also took day trips to Poppit Sands and Fishguard, enjoying some local cuisine in Cardigan. Definitely looking forward to coming back in 2025!

Started great as we thought we could not check in until 16.00hrs but received a phone call at about 13.00hrs saying it was clean and ready for us; and indeed it was. A little thing but it set the holiday up.We were met by the site manager who was absolutely lovely and welcoming and told us all we needed to know. The accommodation was really nice if we were to offer a constructive few words we would suggest a slightly larger TV would be nice and better WiFi (the latter is apparently not achievable due to local demographics).Lovely local walks down to the Gwbert and Cliff Hotels; each offering affordable food and drink in very pleasant surroundings. The Cliff also offers a small golf course (7 par 3s and 2 par 4s) which was great fun with spectacular views to boot. we drove out to Poppit Sands and Fishgard and enjoyed local cuisine in the town of Cardigan.Planning to return in 2025.. We would recommend

We thought the caravan was lovely, spacious and in great shape. The location was perfect too. Only downside was the lack of lamps and the beds being quite firm.

Great overall, but a smart TV would've been perfect for rainy days. Internet can be unreliable sometimes.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little caravan. It’s very tidy and well looked after. The small deck was a nice touch, though the sea view was a bit blocked by the caravan in front. Still, most others had better views, so no big deal.
