We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely spot. The location is perfect-peaceful, close to the beaches and not far from Padstow, which was great for exploring. The place has a cosy, slightly vintage vibe, though it did feel a bit dated in places and there was a faint old smell that could be freshened up with a spray or diffuser before guests arrive. As it’s pet friendly, we did notice some dog hairs on the settee and chairs, which was a little off-putting, especially with our three-month-old baby. We needed to sterilise bottles using the microwave and dishwasher, but there was a dirty plate left inside the microwave, so cleaning standards could be improved. Overall, we had a lovely break, but a little more attention to cleaning and freshening up would make it even better. It’s definitely worth considering!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Four nights in this beautiful, modern villa was just perfect. It’s well-equipped and super comfortable. Loved opening the large windows for fresh morning air. Quiet neighbours made it even more relaxing. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing week over Christmas at Bay Retreats! Honestly, the place was lovely and the only thing that could’ve improved it was a small rug in the living room - with two young kids who love playing with cars on the floor, the laminate was a bit noisy and we didn’t want to disturb the neighbours. A few bulbs were out in the villa, but we didn’t bother mentioning it since it was Christmas and we managed fine with the other lights. The washing machine was a real lifesaver, especially with little ones - makes holidays so much easier when you don’t have to worry about laundry. We’d definitely come back again!

The rooms were really clean and felt quite spacious, which was great for us. Everything we needed for a family holiday was there. Just a heads-up, the fire door between the kitchen and living room didn’t shut properly-hope they fix it soon!

The villas are really lovely and super clean, you can tell they’re well looked after. The peaceful location meant I had the best sleep I’ve had in ages! The nearby beaches are fantastic, with clear waters and loads of rock pools. Overall, a really great place for a holiday, we’d definitely come back!

Really appreciated the chance to bring our dog along, saving on kennelling costs. The break was much needed and overall quite enjoyable, despite the small surcharge.

This place has such lovely accommodation! It’s also so well located, really close to everything we needed. The rooms are clean, comfy and nicely decorated. Plus, the host was friendly and super helpful! We had a fantastic time staying here, can't wait to come back! Just a couple of small things we noticed, like the shower could use a bit of attention, but overall, it was a great experience.

We booked this holiday for a peaceful escape while still being near Padstow and the nearby areas and it turned out to be the perfect base. The accommodation was first class, clean and comfy and the park facilities were more than adequate for our needs as a couple. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, perfect if you enjoy cooking. Tesco just around the corner for supplies. Walls had a few scuff marks, but nothing major. The front door was a bit tricky to close, could’ve used some tweaking. Overall, quite happy!

The villa was lovely, but some furniture had wobbly legs and the shower wasn’t as good as we hoped. Still, the location was perfect for sightseeing and super peaceful overall.

Lovley holidays. The second time we go in this houses. We like it. Great location and staff are very helpful. A few thinks can be made nice in the house. The bath plug don't work in the bath and some tiles are cracked and silicon are off. But over all we love it. We will come back for next year.

We had a fantastic stay! Stayed 4 nights, villa was lovely and modern with absolutely everything you needed! Couldn't hear anyone in the villa next door and having the big windows were lovely to open in the mornings for fresh air! If I had to choose something to dislike it was the fact that the blinds in the bedroom didn't keep out all the light, but I think that's more due to the type of windows they are

Good location, clean, had everything you need for a break.

Lovely clean villa and very well equipped on a nice and quiet site. You will need a car to get anywhere as could not get a taxi and we tried various different cab firms and only two buses a day. Reported a jammed blind cord on the 2nd day and no-one came to repair, but this did not cause us a problem.

The villa was very clean. Facilities offered such as tea towels, towels, washing machine/dryer were excellent. If the villa did lack anything, the I would say that a pair of oven gloves would be handy. Location wise, it's at St Merryn holiday park. The Venue, the on-site restaurant is superb. They do great pizzas for dining in or taking out. There is a convenience store on site too. The village St Merryn isn't far with a shop and a couple of takeaways. It's a few miles from the famous 'seven bays', Constantine, Trevone, etc: so it's perfect. It's also few miles from Padstow, ideal for shopping, restaurants and Tesco. I'd recommend it.

Lodge was lovely and clean, lots of facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster. Balcony was great as the weather was warm. The on site club was good, cocktails and pizzas.
