We had a lovely week in a caravan. A small quiet site was very relaxing and wonderfull views of the surrounding countryside . Excellent location in between Wells and Cheddar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again and recommend.

The Caravan was a great size the only small niggle was the carpet in the lounge. We had a push along carpet cleaner that didn't really do much. I have 2 non moulting breed type dogs so I'm not use to the kind of dog hair that was found in small patches here and there. With a proper electric hoover this would have been sorted. But as its the dog accommodation caravan this is to be expected.

The caravan was very clean and comfortable but it was very worn and the floor had started to go on it. Bed was very comfortable. The park was really good and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Love Bucklegrove can't fault the site as it's really a lovely place to stay, but some or the caravans i'v stayed in are starting to look a little tired, staff great really helpfull & friendly, on site bar great (when it's open), having said that I'll be back maybe later this year.

Lodge No 3 location lovely great views. Lodge itself was ok not cleaned to my standards and needs some Tlc. Hot tub ok but only sore the water being tested twice while we were there and my understanding is that it should be tested daily. The area around the hot tub was fenced so it was private But there are no gates so the dog had to be on a leash every time it was used and it would not take much to put gates in either side so dogs could have a little freedom. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all we had a lovely week with plenty of places in and around the area to go and see.

Stayed in a lodge with hot tub. Garden area was private. The lodge was beautifully clean and very well equipped. Surroundings were gorgeous. Lovely food and friendly, helpful staff. Our stay was very leisurely and peaceful. Can’t wait to go again.

Great site, great place, great staff, accommodation a bit tatty needed a bit of tlc.

If you are looking for standard accommodation at a good price in a location close to Cheddar then this holiday park is a good choice.

This was a comfortable caravan, but could do with a few more cooking pans etc. One or two repairs are needed. We enjoyed having a balcony so that we could get fresh air without worrying about the dog escaping!

We had a lovely stay at this peaceful spot. Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure everything’s just right. It’s our second visit and we’re already planning to come back again soon!

We needed a relaxing escape with our dog and this place delivered! Lovely countryside walks, plenty of nearby pubs and top-notch accommodation. The dog loved it so much, he didn’t want to leave the car! Definitely recommend.

Lovely place, friendly hosts and the jacuzzi really made our stay special. Would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay overall! The caravan was charming, though a bit worn in spots and some little fixes could be made. The hot tub was fantastic and the towels, bedding and tea towels were much appreciated. Thanks!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people who make you feel right at home. The place itself is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didn’t want to leave! The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and nicely furnished. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted's eateries, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth checking out. We’d definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely spot! The setting is so peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owners were super friendly and always there if we needed anything, but they also respected our privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after long days out cycling. Only thing to note is the noise from planes overhead since it’s right under Stansted’s flight path. It didn’t ruin our trip, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it’s worth knowing. Overall, a great place to unwind!

Had a lovely break here! The park is really nice, plenty to keep us busy and the scenery is stunning.

The hot tub was a bit cosy and lacked privacy, which was a little disappointing. The playground for the kids was quite small and lacked variety. But overall, we had a lovely weekend and would definitely return for a long weekend again. Nice break!

Honestly, we had a fantastic time! The hosts were super friendly and really went out of their way to help. The place was just perfect-everything was thought of. We’re already planning to come back again!

We loved this cosy little cottage! It’s nicely tucked away so it feels private, yet close enough to shops and local spots. The hot tub was fantastic and the underfloor heating kept everything really comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were lovely hosts. Can’t wait to return soon!

It was lovely clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The site appears small but it's larger than you think. Our grandchildren loved the walkway with the animals in it. Enjoyed swimming each day.

Site managers were amazing. Very hard working & dedicated. Also provided reassurance and first aid to my little one when she hurt herself. Cant thank them enough. Caravans clean and tidy, site lovely with bar, food and a park outside for children.

A great little site between Cheddar Gorge and Wells. The caravan was clean and well equipped. I was impressed they provided all the little extras, like towels, toilet rolls, hand wash, washing up liquid, cloths and tea towels and even a hairdryer. These were much appreciated.

Lovely place, great staff Would stay again ?

Lovely staff… lady and man very helpful in every way possible. Difficult with eating out on wed/Thursday off season due to club house closed and no other pub open in area. Difficult for dog walks but that is easily resolved just jump in a car and go out. We will not return but that is not a reflection on the owners, we just didn’t fit in .

Everything was great at Bucklegrove, 2 suggestions I would make that would have made the experience evem better 1. To have some sort of screen for the hot tub so that their is privacy from the neighbours as well as from passers by. 2. Wifi - Although it was not advertised as wifi provided, when we got there they said wifi was available, however the signal was too weak to function and mobiles were not picking up their signals from providers either. The upside with no wifi was that kids couldn't stay in their rooms but were forced to interact

Brilliant, quiet holiday park, great location, small pool. Caravan was lovely and clean, loads of camping facilities onsite, highly recommended!
