We had a really pleasant stay in this lovely 3-bedroom place, all ensuite which was perfect. The only thing we missed was a spot to hang our coats - it could get a bit tricky if the weather was wet. The location is fantastic, not just for exploring the showcaves but also for walking around the Gower Peninsula and visiting the Ape Sanctuary, which is actually pretty good fun. The staff were super friendly and helpful and everything was spotless. Plus, the free heated pool, games room and crazy golf made it even better. We’d def come back!

We honestly had a cracking time at Brecon Resort. The scenery around there is just stunning, really peaceful. The team on site were super friendly and made us feel right at home from the get-go. When we arrived at the Red Dragon cottage, we were greeted with a lovely basket full of treats, which was a lovely touch. Inside, the place was spotless and well-equipped, especially with the two saunas, spa baths and a good shower - perfect for relaxing. We didn’t go far since it was just a short break, but we practically had the pool all to ourselves, which was a bonus. The kids were over the moon with the games room, playing pool, air hockey, shuffleboard and ping pong. We also took a trip to the caves, dinosaur park and shirehorse centre. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

The cottage was perfect for us, plenty of space and the sauna was a lovely extra touch.

We stayed in a different cottage than the one shown in the pictures, but honestly, it was fine overall. The steep slope to the row and the distance to carry our things was a bit of a pain, but we managed. Everything we needed was there, except for a bread knife, though we usually bring our own. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The bedroom emergency lights were a bit annoying with that bright green glow all night, but we get it’s a safety thing. The rooms were spacious, but the living room was a bit dark, so we had to use the lights quite a bit.

We had a fantastic stay! There’s plenty of room for everyone and each room is quite unique - one with a cosy jacuzzi, another with a sauna and a quiet little corner with a table and chairs. Everything was spotless and nicely put together. Definitely a place we’d come back to!

We stayed here last weekend and honestly, it was fantastic. The place was spotless and the facilities really hit the mark. The welcome hamper was such a sweet touch - it totally made our arrival easier, especially the milk, saved us a trip to Tesco’s! The setting is gorgeous, with well-maintained grounds that make you feel relaxed straight away. There’s plenty to do and we especially enjoyed the amenities room. We’ll definitely be coming back - had the best time, thank you so much!

We stayed at the holiday site right beside the caves, which were really impressive. It’s clear they put effort into keeping kids busy and the dinosaurs were a real highlight. Overall, a pretty good trip!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The place was lovely and the staff, especially maintenance, were fantastic and quick to help when the electrics tripped and the water thermostat packed in. Despite a few issues, we’d stay again without a doubt!

We loved the setting, it’s truly stunning. The room was super well-stocked and comfortable. Since we visited off-peak, we got keys to everything, which was great for exploring at our own pace. Perfect for families and couples!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is perfect for a quick getaway for two. Inside feels a bit dated, but it’s super cosy and had everything we needed. The spotlessly clean bathroom with a powerful shower was a highlight. The electric heaters aren’t great for warmth in colder months, so be prepared. The mattress wasn’t the comfiest, but with the peace and quiet, we slept well. Loved the welcome pack - crisps, cheese, crackers, cakes, plus drinks and milk. We’d definitely come back, no doubt about it!

We stayed at this cottage recently and honestly, it was pretty lovely. The three bedrooms all had their own en-suites, which was perfect and there was a separate lounge and dining room, so plenty of space for everyone. The sauna was a real bonus, especially on those rainy days when you just want to relax. The place is nicely heated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Being on the National Showcaves site was a real treat - we even got to see some dinosaurs outside! The only tricky part was the steep path leading up to the cottage, which wasn’t ideal with a lot of luggage for the baby, so you do need to be reasonably fit. Luckily, we had some fit friends with us, so it wasn’t an issue. The cottage was spotless and disinfected, which was really reassuring in today’s climate. All in all, we loved it!

A beautiful, peaceful location with stunning scenery, situated right in the Brecon Beacons National Park with the caves around a minute walk away. Visitor attractions, shops and restaurants all within easy driving distance.

This was our best holiday yet, place was great views were amazing. Staff were so friendly and welcoming we will defiantly be back nxt year hopefully. Thank you for a fab week's holiday

The resort was set in stunning surroundings. The facilities at the resort were brilliant, particularly the pool which was accessible anytime of the day. Because it’s a small resort the pool was never too busy. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and very clean and the welcome pack on arrival was lovely. Plenty to do in the area, notably the caves on site and a lovely country park 1/4 mile down the road. Further afield the Gower with lovely beaches were about an hour away. Although there isn’t any facilities for dining there are a few local restaurants nearby which were very good. We had a fabulous week in a lovely relaxing and beautiful location.

We had a lovely stay. We stayed during the heat wave and our room was lovely and cool and that was without need of a fan. The pool is ideal for having a dip and there’s loads to do within the area and Swansea is a short drive away if you want a trip to the beach. We took our dog with us and loved walking around the site. The only thing that was missing was an enclosed area near our accommodation to let him out. There was a bench that we were able to tie him to so he could sit outside We will definitely be going back in the future

We arrived late, after check in because of traffic. However our keys and access had all been sorted out by the very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and well equipped, even down to the nice touches such as milk in the fridge, some snacks for those that arrive but haven't bought food yet etc. Minimal noise from other people staying at the location and easy access and parking.

Lovely location with stunning views. Kids loved the games room as well as the pool and Sauna in our cottage. Staff were friendly and helpful. Alun made the stay extra special with his lovely friendly personality and would go that extra mile for you as well as tell you about beautiful gems to visit. I can honestly say the Customer Service received was 100% and the best I've received from any resort I've stayed at in the past. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise filled with local treats. Josh is a lovely young man and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the Skiing lessons with him on the Dry Slope. There is a lovely Country Park less than a mile away and the Caves/Dinosaurs onsite are worth a visit too and with Waterfall Country 20-30 minute drive away depending on which ones you visit. I would highly recommend the resort and would love to return again in the future.
