We had a really lovely stay overall. The lodge was perfect and the location was great, though it was quite a walk to the golf club from where we stayed. It would have been a bit tricky in the dark if one of us hadn’t gone back for the car during the day. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made our trip even better.

We recently stayed in a three-bedroom pet-friendly lodge and honestly, it was a lovely spot for a quiet getaway. The lodge itself was stunning inside and out, nestled in a peaceful, secluded area which was perfect for relaxing. The beds were already made when we arrived, which was a nice touch and the fact that WiFi was available meant we could stay connected for calls and texts-though, mind you, there’s no mobile signal unless you wander around the park or head down to the beach, so don’t rely on your phone for internet. The grounds are well looked after and there seemed to be plenty of pitches for tourers. We didn't get to try the playpark, but it looked great for kids, even though ours are a bit too old now. One small thing-there wasn’t an airer for hanging wet towels or swimwear from the hot tub, which was a bit annoying since we had to improvise. The dishwasher tablets and a decent washing machine were provided, which was handy, especially since we remembered to bring our pods! The walk through the woods to the cove was perfect for walking the dog and the views over to the Isle of Man added to the relaxing vibe. The only thing I’d suggest is more lighting around the park, especially on the way back from the club-walking in the dark wasn’t ideal. Overall, we had a really chilled weekend and would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was super cosy and spotless, with everything we needed. The only thing missing was an air dryer for drying clothes outside, but it wasn’t a big deal.
