We had a fantastic holiday; the caravans and grounds are spotless and the evenings spent in the club room were really fun. Andy is fantastic with the children at kids club and he and Danny are very friendly to the parents too. We would highly recommend Cheverton Copse

Just got back home today after perfect stay at Cheverton copse. This was our second stay at the park we found it even better than last time! Very clean well equipped caravan, friendly staff and quiet location. We would certainly stay again.

Good caravan but was missing a washing line if you wanted to do any washing.

The house is truly stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside. We loved the cosy courtyard and the hot-tub made it feel extra special. Perfect for relaxing walks in nature too!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy little place tucked away in a lovely, secluded spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, yet they respected our privacy completely. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling-it really helped us unwind! The only thing to note is that the cottage is directly beneath Stansted's flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didn’t ruin our holiday at all. We’d definitely come back!

The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed, even with a few missing bits due to COVID, which didn’t bother us. It’s cosy but there are bigger, more modern options if you prefer. We’re already planning to come back next year!

We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and honestly, it was lovely. The owners, Rob & Sharon, really put a lot of effort into restoring the historic building with care and they made us feel so welcome-shout out to Bonnie too! The place has everything for a relaxed, comfy stay. It’s situated in a great spot in Essex, perfect for exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages rich in history. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We loved the cosy cottage, perfect for a peaceful escape. The hot tub was a real highlight! Just a heads up, you’ll hear planes at night from Stanstead nearby.

A fantastic weekend getaway! Quiet spots, a tiny airport nearby, watching planes was lovely.

Overall, we had a good stay! The only minor issue was with the hot tap in the basin, which dripped unless turned off tightly. We left a note for the staff about it, hoping they’ll replace the washer soon. Still, very pleased!

The living space was quite spacious and we appreciated the ample storage throughout the property. Cleanliness was spot on!

We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it’s so cosy and well kitted out, it felt like a home from home. The bath was just perfect after a long day and the shower was nice and powerful. The location is peaceful, with no noise from planes or fireworks, which was ideal for our dog. Definitely recommend, thanks a lot!

We loved this cosy little cottage. It’s tucked away just enough for privacy but still near local shops and cafes. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept everything warm and comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were lovely hosts-can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage! The setting was so peaceful and beautiful, with lovely views of the surrounding farm. The horses were a lovely bonus. The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a quiet getaway!

A lovely place to stay this is our 2nd time definitely booking again for next year, my husband left his jumper in caravan and it was handed in by the cleaners then returned to him in the post by the person in charge good honest people ? ?

The family who run the site are on hand to provide friendly, prompt assistance if and when required. Lovely quiet countryside location. Our caravan was well maintained and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have already booked again for next year.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Cheverton Corpse. Yes the caravans are dated but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The sight is immaculate and our little Great Grandson loved the play areas. Being right next to the airport was a bonus providing us with good entertainment. We will definitely be returning to Cheverton Corpse and the beautiful Isle of Wight

Couldn't fault the cleanliness. Tip top bed linen clean crockery interior of caravan not modern but perfectly alright. Could do with bed side lamp in bedroom.

Great park - loved it!

Brilliant smaller site, could let little ones explore safely on their own. Caravans well equipped and comfortable, although the space is tight in single bedroom. (Have to walk sideways between beds) Ideal location for getting out and about to various attractions/beaches. Large supermarkets nearby (2 mins car, 10 mins walk) Wi Fi is patchy even when paying extra for connectivity. A mat in the bathroom by the shower would be welcome, as its a high step in/out onto a potentially slippery floor. Would certainly book again. The reason we are not, is because we like to try different sites /areas :))
