Really enjoyed our stay here, the place was lovely and were definitely planning to return soon.

The owners here are genuinely lovely and so helpful, especially when the storm caused a power outage. The place is spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we really enjoyed the hot tub too!

The owners were super friendly and made us feel really welcome, even checking in to see if we needed anything. Definitely a spot wed visit again for a relaxing break!

We loved this cosy little cottage! Its perfectly tucked away, giving us privacy but still close enough to grab what we needed from nearby shops. The hot tub was a real treat and the underfloor heating kept everything warm and comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome-definitely returning soon for a longer stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is stunning and very private, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The owners are super friendly and always available if you need anything, but they respect your privacy. The hot tub was a lovely touch after a long day of cycling. Just a heads up, the cottage is under Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a great place to unwind!

We stayed at this lovely place during a rainy December and it was perfect-so warm and cosy. The house is super well equipped and the bath plus the big shower were a real treat. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all, honestly! Its a fab spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead. Rob & Sharon clearly put a lot of effort into transforming this historic building with care and their warm welcome made us feel right at home, along with Bonnie. The location is perfect for exploring Essex; we enjoyed wandering around Thaxted and nearby villages, soaking in the charming history and beautiful architecture. Definitely a place to relax and unwind, wed happily visit again!

We had a great stay at this lovely cottage nestled on a working farm but still really private. Robert and Sharon are such warm, welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place itself is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The gardens private and dog-proof, perfect for relaxing outside. Plenty of walking routes around and we enjoyed dining in Thaxted-The Star and The Maypole are definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this charming little cottage and honestly, it had everything we needed. The place is so well equipped, we didnt even realise how much was provided until we arrived with the car packed! The welcome pack was full of useful info, including local menus, which was really handy. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just fantastic after a long day. We had an absolutely lovely weekend here - it really ticked all the boxes for us. The place was perfect and well definitely return. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating and the garden. Lunas tail was wagging so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Happy pups, happy us! Would recommend to anyone.

Weve always adored Dawlish too! Been visiting since we were kids and now taking our own family there. The caravan was spotlessly clean and perfect for our dog. Hoping our children will love it just as much when theyre older. Such a lovely spot.

We stayed in the refurbished Gold Plus caravan and really enjoyed it. The interior was spacious and the decor was lovely. Central heating made a big difference, especially on chilly nights. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and relaxed. Definitely recommend!
