Dirty and tired worktop was chipped on end blinds didn’t meet in the middle in bedroom blind didn’t come all way down in second bedroom

Perfect lodge, well cleaned, also comes with some essentials for cleaning, and a crate of water for those who are opposed to tap water. Sofas comfy, everything working, smart tv aswell so can log into your own Netflix, prime video, YouTube etc

Lovely lodge with towels and kitchen supplies provided. Decking is a great area to entertain. Lots of area around the lodge to play. Really nice set up.

We have been here a few times now and love it. Only bad point would be the lodge wasnt very clean specially when bringing a baby. I understand the lodge was a dog friendly one but would still expect it to be clean and not have dog hair everywhere. We did have to request more cutlery which was delivered.

Good value for money. A little warn but overall good condition. Sofa had seen better days could do with a deep clean!

As stated before caravan was really basic, hot tub was old but worked fine. Would consider finlake again but not this type of accommodation.

We booked a superior carvan which we were allocated 2 Saxon Way, which had 1 Double & 2 twin rooms. It was very clean & looked brand new! Our only tiny picky thing was we wished there was a lamp in the living area as it was either have the bright main lights on or nothing in the evening. Also personally wouldn't have 6 people in there it was tight for just 3 of us! We would definitely return to Finlake just perhaps in a bigger property.

My lodge was well equipped, nicely presented and felt quite private considering how many there are on the site. It wasn't spotlessly clean, but it was good enough. I will definitely be back.

Very comfortable and spacious lodge, very clean even if it was looking a bit tired in places but for the price it’s serious value for money! Lovely massive hot tub too!

Quite run down, things missing, dents etc or marks. Spider webs galore!

Lodge was great decking area with hot tub was brilliant. No major problems one being no tin opener in drawers other than that great holiday.

Almost everything you could need. No information on how to use the heating or oven though. I discovered on the last day, my duvet seemingly has been patched with a plaster. Cleanliness 8/10 dead bees in the spare room.Nice comfy sofa, TV , Washing Machine & Dishwasher.

Except the dog hair, lodge is a good place to go for holiday, and beautiful site with all facilities like Gym, swimming, shops etc.

Far from deluxe and very disappointed. In fact left 2 days early. Mainly due to the poor condition of the accommodation not what you expect when you pay for the advertised deluxe

Few cobwebs...nothing major. New sofas which was nice. Great hot tub. Everything worked. Pots and pans a bit dated so might take our own saucepan next time.

Needed a bit more tlc in terms of cleaning, bit dusty in places.

Great weekend in a spacious lodge with hot tub. It could have been cleaner and a parasol would have been appreciated. I personally didn't like the keyless entry system although I appreciate why it was in place.

Advertised as a 3 bed lodge, but basically a 3 bed caravan - paper thin walls and the 2 rooms with single beds are more like children's rooms!

There was no dishwasher, but it was a new caravan and it was lovely inside. There was only one shower for six people. Last time, we had accommodation for four with two showers. Again, just a little thing.

Our lodge was a lovely size and provided everthing we needed but was itself in need of some TLC, including updating, maintenance and a clean of the areas that get missed on routine change overs i.e. kitchen blinds, inside dishwasher around hinges on door, tops of pictures. On both the patio doors and main door even when fully locked you could see a gap right through to outside. The outside furniture was rusty and not cleaned, large bird mess splatters! And the gate latch was broke. The mattress on the single beds overhung the bed bases, so wouldn’t be ideal for a larger person.

We had a lovely stay! The place was so peaceful, perfect for relaxing and our dog loved it.

Great site so clean and well maintained. Great facilities especially the swimming pools. Good location for days out to the coast and dartmoor. Lovely surroundings for walks with the dog. Would definitely return.

We have lovely holiday there?

We have been 3 times before, this being our 4th ! As always , it was amazing! The park , the accommodation , the surroundings, the people and all the amenities, makes this one special place . Thanks Finlake yet again we have made special memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Lovely place to visit mist also add the staff we came across were very helpful, the house keeping staff were so efficient our mop was broken and within 15 minutes of me phoning them we had a new mop

Our holiday was great. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and the activities staff were super engaging and genuinely looked like they were enjoying themselves as much as we were. The only negatives I would mention (and they are minor), there weren’t many paths along the roads of the site so although walking on the grass and moving out the way of cars wasn’t a problem for us, those with younger children, buggies or wheelchairs may not find this acceptable. The walk to the stables being an example. The only other downside was the lack of evening entertainment or things for teens to do once the paid activities were over and the swimming pools had closed. There were 2 pool tables in the bar but that was it so if you haven’t come prepared with anything to do and aren’t planning on spending the evening off site there is very little for them to do. Other than that we had a fabulous week and will definitely be returning for a cheeky adults only weekend.

A lovely stay - lodges perfectly kitted out. Kids loved the pools and exploring - such a large yet quiet site. Super Staff helpful, calm and over the top with politeness. The only suggestion I would make is for a flat reasonable space for playing football which stays open while it is light say 9pm for older kids or teenagers.

Finlake never disappoints. Not been since all the new spa/pool etc added. Still lovely setting and with private lodges. The food at The Hub & The Retreat was faultless! Great to have eat in or takeaway options! Shop was well stocked (and even a huge variety of gins to choose from! The only downside was that our lodge was very basic and not cleaned particularly well before we arrived. Could have done with some selves in the bathrooms to keep all our toiletries on. Hot tub was not in good working order either. Lovely & warm but jets didn’t work. Overall, we’d definitely be back!
