We had a fantastic weekend from March 7th to 10th. Staying in the Hawaii cabin was a real treat-spotlessly clean and super comfy beds made all the difference. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The pizza van served up delicious pies and the bar was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Definitely coming back!

We loved the lodge! It felt really cosy, with lovely decor and thoughtful layout. Definitely a stay we’d recommend for anyone wanting comfort.

We loved the peaceful setting for our 30th pearl anniversary. The lodge was spotless and cosy and the hot tub was fantastic-just watch the hot water! Could do with more cups and glasses, especially if you're with a bigger group. Still, overall, a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The setting is just gorgeous, surrounded by countryside and it’s perfectly placed for exploring York, the Moors, or the coast - all within easy reach. The park itself was really well-kept and peaceful. One of our favourite things was just lying back at night and gazing at the stars; it’s such a clear sky! The staff were lovely and made us feel really welcome. The lodge was spotless, spacious and super comfy. The hot tub with the view across the fields was a real bonus. Only tiny gripe was the fridge - a bit on the small side for self-catering, but honestly, it didn’t spoil things. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time! The location was perfect, with easy access to York, Leeds and Alton Towers. Plus, cinemas, supermarkets and trampoline parks nearby made everything so convenient. Loved it!

Great service, but we did need extra glasses and plates.

The lodge is in a fantastic spot, close to York and the coast, which is perfect for exploring. It’s beautifully decorated, though we did notice some dirty cups and robes. Would’ve loved more cupboard space in the kitchen and drawers in the bedrooms, but overall, a great stay!

The lodge itself was truly beautiful and the private hot tub was a lovely touch. The only thing was, we felt a bit uneasy knowing it was under CCTV surveillance.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely lodge. It’s such a peaceful spot and feels just like a home from home. The place is spacious and perfect for big groups. Our only small gripe was the kitchen’s lack of decent pans for cooking, which was a bit tricky. Some of the living room furniture looked a bit tired and could do with a refresh, but honestly, it didn’t spoil our trip. We had a great time overall!

Absolutely loved our stay! The lodge was huge, with all the amenities we could ask for.

We decided to come back to Flaxton Meadows this year for our pre-Christmas holiday with the kids and honestly, it’s such a cosy spot. The mornings chatting with the duck that visits the patio are a real highlight for the little ones. The only minor gripe we’ve had both times is the limited storage-no drawers, which can be a bit tricky if you're staying longer. But apart from that, everything was just spot on! We’ll definitely return again.

We had such a lovely weekend here! The lodge was stunning and felt really luxurious. Gavin was super helpful with tips and info, which we appreciated. The hot tub was just perfect-hot, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed stretching our legs on the little walk around the pond, which was great for the kids and the dog. Waking up to that view was such a treat. All of this for a fair price too. Definitely coming back, thanks Flaxton Meadows!

We really liked the lodge - so clean and roomy! The only thing we didn’t expect was that the TV options are limited to Netflix or i-player, which was a bit of a surprise. Still, the peaceful setting and hot tub made up for it!

We had a fantastic 4-night stay! The lodge was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and felt quite cosy. The hot tub was ready with fresh water when we arrived and was checked daily - nice touch! We loved chilling in the clubhouse with a pint and the peaceful setting overlooking the pond with ducks was just lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. Couldn’t ask for more, definitely recommend. 10/10!

We felt really comfortable here, like a proper home. The lodge was spotless and well-furnished. Perfectly situated for all our plans, loved it!

Staying in the luxury cabin for four nights was fantastic! The hot tub was definitely one of the best we've experienced. We really enjoyed our time and are already planning to come back. Will also recommend it to family and friends for sure!

Our stay at the lodge in Flaxton Meadows was really enjoyable. It’s super modern and tucked away in a peaceful spot. We loved how close it was to York-only around 15 minutes. The hot tub was fantastic and the kids had a great time with the board games. Watching the ducks and peacocks every day was such a treat. We’d definitely come back!

What can I say…. Paradise, tranquil, heaven with superb lodges and fantastic staff and super helpful what more could you ask for ?

A great spot. Well worth a visit and plenty to do in the surrounding area with York just a stones throw away.

We were a little concerned about the reviews stating the lack of an oven but our lodge (Paris Pitch) was equipped with one as are the majority of the others. The only reason for the 9 score was because you needed a car to get near to ant amenities such as shops and restaurants. However it is a lovely tranquil setting and perfect for a relaxing break which was just what we needed.

We had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful lodge and the scenery outside while in the hot tub is stunning. The beds are very comfortable and showers were great! The only thing to be aware of is there isn’t an oven but there is a microwave and two ring hob. Apart from that there is everything you need for a lovely break. It’s also close to York so lots to do there for days out.

AMAZING! The pictures just don't do this place justice. It was wonderfully modern, perfectly clean and a great place to relax and chill. The cabin was mega ECO and John explained a lot of what they'd done to make it so low energy comsumption. It was really comfy, all the fittings and finishings seemed to be of a high quality and we had a fabulous break there - the hot tub was a dream! Only thing to note is there is a 2 ring hob and a microwave combi oven, but no actual oven, so you'd need to think what you can cook with those limitations.

Outstanding lodge in a lovely location. We were really impressed with quality of furnishings in the lodge and the hot tub was wonderful. The lodge sat right on the edge of the duck pond with a relaxing fountain which was illuminated at night. Our 3 year old loved the very friendly ducks that visited every morning. Only gripe was that there was not an integrated oven - a standalone mini-oven was in place but it was very difficult to cook for more than 2 people. However, this would not stop us from returning. Very happy with our stay.

Flaxton meadows what an amazing getaway with a beautiful cabin and an amazing location, the log cabin was very spacious with everything you need and more. The campsite was lovely and the location was in a perfect spot as it wasn’t too far from York city centre and other places to visit. We would definitely visit again as we had a wonderful time.

Great surroundings and very close to York and all the amenities it has to offer .Site very quiet which was great coming home to after busy day .
