We had a fantastic time at Cwtch Cottage! The place is full of character and feels super cosy, especially with the log burner blazing away. Everything we needed was there and it was spotless when we arrived. The weather was pretty rubbish the whole time, but honestly, we didn’t mind because the cottage was so comfy. The location’s lovely too and breakfast at the on-site cafe was absolutely gorgeous! We’re already thinking about our next visit-can’t wait to return!

While the verandah table was a bit wobbly and the indoor table was still sticky from varnish, we had a great time. The beds were super comfy and the Wi-Fi plus smart TV worked flawlessly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved the cottage! It had everything we needed-spotlessly clean and cosy with a lovely log burner, logs included. The peaceful setting by the lakes was perfect, plus the nearby cafe with a cracking fry-up. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cerrig Cottage. It’s a lovely space - well thought out and super cosy. Everything was in great condition and the owner even went out of their way to put up a stair gate for us, which was really kind.

We stayed at this peaceful spot and honestly, it’s perfect if you’re after some serious chill time. The area isn’t bustling, which we loved. We mostly relaxed at the cottage, only wandering out a few times. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a quiet weekend away, no stress at all.

We had such a lovely stay here! The lodge was spotless, comfy and had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings were exactly what we wanted, especially since we’re not big fishers ourselves, but it was great to see others enjoying it. The cafe served incredible milkshakes-seriously, to die for. Stuart, who looked after the fishery, was super friendly and full of useful tips about local spots. Overall, a fantastic holiday, we really appreciated it!

We had a lovely stay here! It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, just a short 200-yard stroll to Trout Lake, which is perfect for peaceful mornings. The neighbours, who own the cottage, are super friendly but respectful of your privacy-they’re there if you need anything. We enjoyed the horses and the calm vibe, it’s ideal for unwinding. Even though it’s quite remote, we always managed to find our way back using the postcode and TomTom. Would definitely return for a proper chill-out escape. We really enjoyed our stay here. The peaceful vibe was perfect for relaxing and it’s a great spot to explore nearby. Just a heads up: the steep stairs aren’t ideal for small kids, even with a stair gate.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Could not fault the site, location or owners in any way. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the cabins. Beautiful scenery and wildlife just outside our windows. We even got to try fly fishing at the lake... the kids Absolutely loved it, we even came home with a 3 legged pet frog. Can't wait to go back!!

A lovely, peaceful site beside a lake and set in beautiful countryside. If you're after a quiet escape with fantastic scenery then this will be hard to beat! Lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area and not far from the coast.

Escape from the world, peaceful and tranquil. My dogs were relaxed as there was no one else around, usually there take ages to settle in , not here.

Me and my partner stayed a week in Ash Lodge and it was beautiful!! Great views off the front porch and we could ever take both our our fur babies with us! Looking forward to booking again next year
