We loved the lodge! It had everything we needed and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day. Privacy was fantastic, no one was peering in at all.

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! The log cabin was spotless and super cosy, kept in great condition. Everything we needed was there and those chocolates plus cava on arrival? Such a lovely touch. It’s clear they really think about guests’ comfort. Would definitely come back!

We loved staying here! The lodge felt really roomy, perfect for our family of four. Having the option to turn one room into a triple was handy. The hot tub was spotless and warm, which was a big plus. The sofas and furniture were really clean too.

We don’t usually write reviews either, but this place really deserves it! Staying in the pet-friendly Keepers Lodge was a lovely experience. The first thing that hit us was how stunning and cosy it looked, almost cottage-like. It was spotless, with tonnes of towels and all the kitchen gadgets you could need - even scissors! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hot tub was fantastic and kept really clean. We’d definitely come back!

We had a really relaxing weekend here with friends. The rooms are perfect-spacious doubles with en-suites. No issues at all and we’ll definitely return soon!

We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always spot on. The place is spotless and has everything we need. Only thing we’d change is the beds-both of us are pretty tall, so they’re a bit small. Still, no biggie!

We had an absolutely lovely stay! The lodge was spotless and really comfy, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our dog was thrilled with the doggy bag upon arrival-treats, a towel and a fun toy-such a nice touch. We appreciated the thoughtful extras like the wine and chocolates for us. The location was perfect, with plenty of scenic walks nearby and a fully enclosed dog park that we booked online, which was great for our pup. The hot tub was definitely a highlight-such a treat after a day out. Nights spent stargazing and spotting badgers made it all even more special. We’d definitely come back!

Great open plan, very clean and tidy, we loved it!

We had such a great time, we’re already booked for next year! The cabin was super cosy and spotless and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Getting there was simple with the bus and the scenery is just stunning. The hot tub was well maintained. Honestly, I think I enjoyed this more than a holiday abroad. The peaceful forest views and nature were just perfect! Truly a good place.

We’ve been here twice now and honestly, we’re hooked. The peace and quiet are just what we needed and the kids adore relaxing in such a calm setting. The lodges are modern but blend perfectly with the forest vibe. Everything was spotless and the shop had all the essentials. Plenty to explore nearby, we’ll definitely be back!

The lodge was spotless and cosy, though a bit worn around the edges - some cracked tiles and tired floors could do with a refresh. Still, it was warm, well-equipped, with good cutlery and TVs in every room. Nice stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The open-plan layout was perfect, making everything feel spacious and easy to relax in. The long decking and massive hot tub were definitely highlights - such a treat! The walk-in shower was powerful, almost like a massage! The lounge with comfy leather sofas felt super cosy too. Great for two people.

The four poster bed was super comfy and the double spa bath was just perfect after a long day. The cabin had such a cosy vibe, we didn't want to leave. Honestly, it made our weekend special. Super comfy and well thought out

We stayed in a Keepers pet friendly in July. It was amazing!! The lodge was huge, very clean and had everything you needed from a dishwasher to a washing machine and tumble dryer. The hot tub was outstanding and checked every morning by staff. The site is very clean and quite. The driveway into the sight is stunning and houses so much wildlife. The walks around the park are amazing too and we saw so many deer and foxes. They have wildlife cameras that you can watch on the TV in the lodges. We hired bikes too, it very good value for money and very easy to do. The staff were fantastic. You are out of the way of any supermarkets but can get a delivery to site and there are some stunning towns to visit not far from site. Whitby is about an hour drive. We absolutely loved our holidays. We will definitely be booking next year. It was one of the best sites we have ever stayed in.

A perfect location for visiting York. The lodge was really clean, luxuriously comfortable and well equipped. The forest setting was relaxing and the sister hotel was a convenient short walk away. Superb.

We stayed at Cherry Tree Barn and it was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous surrounding areas. The barn was very clean and very big, 3 good sized bedrooms. We did a woodland walk with our dog it was about an hour and it took you to Sandburn Hall. Tykes restaurant is also at Sandburn Hall and it is definitely worth a visit, the food was excellent and the staff are a credit to the restaurant, all were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again in the near future.

Had a lovely time. Was heatwave first day so no need for hot tub,acd tub would have been better, Lol. could have done with air con or fans that day. But a lovely time and the best WiFi set up with smart TV. Great. Ps be aware the WiFi logs you out and you have to search again to reconnect every so often but inly when you have bit used for a while. A wee squirrel visitor came to see us every day on the patio. Bring the citronella candles though as you are in a forest. Not many midgies but horseflys. Great location for York and Scarborough.

Great place so tranquil and relaxing. Amazing setting and perfect for dog walks, bike trails and walks. Really great log cabin and all the amenities you need.

Accommodation was absolutely superb. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Nearby Restaurant and Sports Bar facilities were excellent. We are already sorting dates for next year.

A great setting and quiet surroundings the site had some good walks in forest and the surrounding countryside was stunning the lodges are well kept and spacious with a very private hot tub close to York and coast would definitely visit it again
